cant wait to complete my order. bought a nice box for all of my Zap stuff today when I visited Amman
so jealous. I still cannot find the perfect box.
http://edstnt.com/index_files/Page6753.htm

ob its a box similiar to these. they have them everywhere in jordan as tourist items. it should fit my stems, my packer dowel thing, short tooty and my launch box accessories perfectly.

If you go to any second hand store like a salvation army you might be able to find something on the cheap. if youre not interested in that, eds boxes arent too bad!

ill get a picture of it up when i get back in the states, and thank you Rick

I just want to say that I've had an aroma zap for over 6 years and loved it!!!! The heat element was a lillte loose and I tried to tack weld it and ended up burning a hole in it and wrecking it. The only reason it broke is cause of my stupidity, It still worked perfect. I am currently in the process of acuring an other unit and I will tell you that the guys at Aroma\Myrtlezap (or Rick in particular) have top notch customer service!
:)

I have all my carb holes taped up

Does the "old wood" have marbling and grain patterns like the myrtlezaps in the earlier pages of the thread?

so now I own three tooty's and have another on the way. I have to say my most recent one (the plain six inch) delivers the most potent kick of the bunch. I cannot explain why. it just is the truth.

So okay ob, you've finally beaten me. But beware.....I also have another on the way. Maybe I'll have to try one of those plain Tooty's too. The race is on..... :p

Slick, I also have a PlaneJane, and like it a lot. I have the longer one without the carb, and think a carb would be a great addition, so will get one of those next. I like having different options, and it's nice to have one ready and dry if you are cleaning another stem. I really like to use the glass over the stock stems, as a rule, although I will find myself grabbing one of those sometimes too. I guess it's that variety thing.

heyslick,
yes I do have a plain jane as well and I think it works really well, especially for the price. I happen to like things that are aesthetically really clean which is why I was so excited about the clear shorter tubes. The tube size and the fact that you could dislodge the tube from the stem (to use as a carb) is what I like about the plain jane. if you added a carb, I think it would improve this item. although if you did that then it seems like it would make sense to just add the traditional tip to the bottom instead of the shorty stem. I am assuming this would increase the price then......

I agree with mom in that I prefer the glass to the stock stems, although I do find myself grabbing for them every once in a while. I still have a callout for a glass version of the traditional plastic stems.

mom, you have to stop ordering. every time you do, it makes me want another. I think I actually read about rick's fathers day special and considered it for a minute....

 I can't. It's as simple as that. And I had a mad moment there with the father's day special too. My father is 87 and his drug of choice is Viagra. So it would have been a father's day present for me. I couldn't quite justify that. But down the road.....
You just wait until I post a pic of all my glass and my Zaps and my.......well, you just wait. You better freeze that credit card in a block of ice ob! :p

Did you mean aesthetically clean? Cause that would make a lot more sense. (:

I agree with the ob that a glass stem the length of the traditional stems would be sweet. I have a nice small drawstring bag that I use for my vape kit. I is perfect because everything I need to vape is in it but my tooty can't fit :( Don't get me wrong, I love my tooty, but I would love to have something that will fit in my vape kit. That way it would still be super stealthy.

Yes, a shorter, standard size glass would be nice, but as Rick said, there are problems going that small. I think it might be easier to find something that will hold the shorter Tooties, etc. We'll have to see if his glass blower will go smaller, I guess.

B, I've harvested a couple of times now. Nice, dark golden...... you will not be disappointed. Hmmmm, seems to me my glass might need cleaning too. Nice little project for this morning.

I got my Tooty today; its the 7.5 inch one with a flat mouthpiece. :D As usual Rick was real pleasure to do business with. It looks good and should work just as well. I'll be trying it out this evening as I have a heavy workout to do this afternoon. I'll be in my man cave with my three dogs, my recliner, Pink Floyd, and I'll be on the Dark Side Of The Moon :p

Ah yes, still crazy after all these years. :brow:

Edited for relevance: Hey mom, how often do you clean your tubes? I've had my PD for several months and got two nice harvests so far; a bowls worth of nice honey :ko:

I found a really nice toothbrush holder that holds my tooty perfectly. It would probably hold one about 7 or so inches. Kmart had them for $1.

@ sneezy - I really like clean stems, but I try to wait until they turn a golden color. I also have a whip style vape and add the wand wash to the mix. Then there's the gooey goodness inside the whip tubing to be gotten. I digress. (and may have been drooling there....sorry.) Probably about once a week or so, depending on usage. I have several stems now and they don't get dirty as fast since I'm using more than one. I reuse the alcohol until it is brownish, then evaporate it off. Really wish they sold Everclear here.

i heard the bose ipod dock is good but one day consider checking out getting a y cable and plugging your ipod into an actual stereo system - i didn't expect to like the sound as much as i did, to my ears it's as good as the sound quality of cds if the bit rate is 320 kbs and the ipod has its own alarm clock function - a splendid way to start your day.

Hey guys I love my Myrtlezap. Definitely worth the investment. One problem though, the copper flower fell apart. I mean first the copper handle fell off, then the flower from the stem, then the cup on top. Sucks because I always use the flower for oil scent after a session. Also I haven't had it long, got it May 3, and it probably broke a couple weeks ago. Is there a way to fix it, replacement, or any other suggestions? I'll try to get some pics of it later. Thanks!
