Initially came to post, that I had an older direct draw stem I didn't use. Pushed the screen a decent bit down the stem, probably a 1/3 or a bit more. Holds a ton. Loaded it up and set my volts low (11.5), vaped it for 40+ minutes while watching Inglorious Bastards last night. Needed some stirring, but not too much, and was nice to just kick back and relax and not have to reload.

Good Day All,

Finally got to play with the new UD a bit. Had to wait for a portable power supply from eBay as I do not have a "safe" place to keep the UD plugged in. I have to thank @underdogette for the suggestion of the VV portable. While one day I hope to own a battery VK, this ebay piece is pretty handy.

Again, apologize for the cell phone pics, but best I can do at the moment.

I have to say it is one amazing little piece of art. I definitely still have to do some playing around with the different stems, but using the water piece definitely makes for a killer rip. Haven't had such a tasty large hit from vaping yet, and with such little material at that!

I might be going the portable power supply route. Can you speak on your experiences with it thus far?

Do they work for the 17w ecodogs too?

I have had 2 of those exact same battery packs for over a year and have been using them without a hitch

Using the Panasonic ncr18650b batteries they lasts over 4 hours of constant use with the ud.

The battery pack is variable voltage between 5 and 13 volts and I think the econodog runs @ 17 volts so I believe you're sol on that one but there's probably a pack out there that runs at 17 volts.

I'm assuming that's with 4 batteries in the pack? The site says a person can use 1-4

Oops I meant volts, yes the eco runs at 17V, I'll check around for different pack options and post what I find.

re: avatar yeah that show cracks me up. I'm also a fan of TPB, I wonder if Trevor will ever come back...

@MileHighLife hit it on the head... get (4) of the good (legit) Panasonic batteries and the battery pack works stellar for the standard UD's.

I plugged it in on the way home from work and she was ready to go by the time I arrived. 30 minutes later still had 84% so the 4 hours seems about right with all 4 batteries fully charged.

AND... no tripping over plugs. I wish I would have thought about the VV battery pack before, and I would have ordered a UD much sooner. While not stealthy like a vape pen, it sure makes being able to share the UD with others much easier. Travels well and looks way better than any other vape when made from the mouthwatering @Snappo pieces!

Dude... You should change your name from XeroRespect to MadProps, that's an awesome combo you got there!!! Have you tried it with that D-Cycler? That's the only China piece I regret selling FWIW. Cheers!

I had tried it briefly but felt a bit unstable with the adapter I was using. Will order a new adapter from @Oregonglassblower and give it another whirl.

Hey all!

Just wanted to share a sneak peak at something I've been working on (slowly!) for the past month. A silicone 14mm female adapter for the Stainless Steel stem tips!

The female joint is a bit too loose for my liking, so I need to tweak the parameters slightly and reprint. But I'm VERY close to finishing!
