Lol he deleted his posts and changed his bio.. Hes watching this thread. I dont care if you sell it, but you better buy it and wait till you have it. Take pics and vids. Then sell it.
I see this all so much...
I don't know what their thinking, and I never know whether to point it out or not. People are so dumb they'll buy it though. I've seen a couple d-cyclers and eggs sell where they obviously went for too much... the post saying "Sold!!!" is always right after...
Should we post if it's china glass every time we see it for sale?

i call out china glass i buy both american made glass and china made glass but if its know its china glass do not sell it as american . Nothing bothers me more when people take photos in a headshop mark up the already marked up price and try to sell it as if they owned it

Ive been selling on instagram and informing people that the eggs are from china since almost all sellers do not list as made in china. One person bought 2 amber eggs from a seller who claimed it was german amber slime or some bs then got very defensive and blocked me. To be fair he did pay 100 an egg which is around what ive been asking so but just funny story lol

Ya that is what I figured, but it is obviously pretty far along if it will ship within 10 days. Definitely wouldn't order without seeing a watertest video. Will be interesting to see what the perc looks like, would be wild if they were laser cut like Mothership. I am not counting on that, but I would consider it a possibility now given how easily the Chinese can crank out eggs.

I am also interested in the function, purchasing an egg and torus soon if function looks on point. I wish they would keep the 14mm joints tho. no need for 18mm.

I'll start calling people out too i guess. I haven't seen anyone labeling anything chinese as american lately but I would have posted it if I did. I see the china glass everywhere though. I feel like it's a waste of time to post, but maybe somebody will see it before buying without knowing where it's from atleast. I really don't like the idea of selling dhgate rigs at all to be honest. Especially somewhere like IG. I think selling/trading them to close friends who know what you got it for is all right. But tricking ignorant people online, even if you say its china glass, isn't OK. They have no idea about dhgate. Even if it's only for 90-100, It's still a much larger markup than most headshops even.
The first one was posted about a bunch. The second was never even mentioned here i think. Look at the watertest in the video... It dosn't really function too well...
With the torus coming I'd just wait for that if you want an incycler.

Can I tell you guys the story of some american glass...?
It's that minitube i mentioned before...
There are cracks all around the joint. It was like that when i brought it home from the shop. The cracks spiderweb and wander, so they're legitimate cracks, not just funky scratches. I can't get a picture of them. They're too fine, I need a flashlight to get it to be noticeable in pictures. It's a 2 person job, i'll try eventually.
Does anybody here have any experience with fine cracks like i described in your glass? Do they spread quick? I'm asking because I wonder how long the tube will last...

So the story begins about a week ago... I was tired of my china glass, so I bought a minitube for $89. When I got home, I noticed it had a crack on the weld by the joint. I called that night, and they apologized right away and said return it for another tomorrow. So the next day I went to get it exchanged for another tube at $145, thinking by upping my quality i would never have this issue again. I paid the difference and ran out the door with a nice worked little minitube. I felt i got it for a steal.
I got home, and as I was looking it over carefully I noticed this tube has worse cracks than the first. They're finer cracks, but they spiderweb and surround about 3/4 of the joint. I emailed the shop with my phone number, they called the next day saying they would see what they could do, but there were no apologies this time. I hadn't even used it yet, so I don't know why they wouldn't just say bring it back again. I gave them my number in the email hoping I'd get a call saying just come on down and we'll figure something out, It never happened.
I was done. Since I had already spent $60 in gas getting there, I said fuck it and kept the cracked tube. I didn't wanna make that $90 just in gas. They obviously weren't going to help me this time. then to top it all off, the brand new quartz nail I got cracked on the first heat-up. I couldn't help but laugh. And also, when I got home I noticed the minitube was lighter in weight than every other piece of glass I own, yet taller, meaning it was thinner glass...
I sent them another email with my experience at the shop, and that i would take an un-cracked tube to keep my mouth shut any day.
I never got a return email I guess it's fair game...

Fuck Primal of Wilkesbarre PA. Every tube they have is cracked apparently, they don't have a care in the world for their glass or their customers. On my first visit I was kept from looking around by an employee pushing for a sale. On the second I witnessed an employee, who i found out later was that stores manager, throw a flux nail into a piece so hard it made a noise I still hear ringing in my head. I'm not surprised their glass is all cracked. Then one employee just wandered around aimlessly on both visits. She knew nothing about glass too. She couldn't even pick a 14 mm quartz nail from the bins beneath the counter. She had to ask for help. Then the person she asked for help was almost just as bad.
I have nothing good to tell you guys about my visits to Primal. They have some nice glass to look at, but know it's all cracked, you can only look. It's a waste to buy anything. You'll get pushed into a sale. You will not have knowledgeable employees. And if you happen to buy something it's gonna be cracked, or at least it'll crack soon.

So, does anyone think this tube will last more than a month? Will I atleast get my money worth?
***And i'm posting this here because its great proof that american glass is overpriced for the quality or service. Steven would have just sent me another both times. Headshops suck. Fuck em' all.
I think you're confusing glass and retailers. It sounds like you bought shitty Chinese made glass from an American headshop. Neither is exclusively good or bad though headshops usually charge some crazy margins on glass. Buying from the source is always cheaper.

Hi guys, I'm a bit of a noobie but have been lurking around here for a while - my cnmeng fab egg just turned up so I thought I'd share my thoughts. It took 9 days to get to me in the UK.

There are a couple of small issues - the perc is kinda wonky and the slits are all at a bit of an angle, and a couple of the holes in the lower half of the egg are so close together no air/water can actually pass between them.

For the most part thought, it's a lovely little piece. Feels quite light in weight compared to the D020-D but the base is nice and thick, sits completely flat on the desk and the mouthpiece is the nicest I've used on china glass yet (the only other pieces I've tried so far mind are the D020-D and FC187 v2).

The function seems to be totally on point. The only thing I'm really concerned about is how close the joint is to the mouthpiece - I use an E-Nano with these bubbler type pieces and I'll be using a 14mm male to 18mm female adapter so my 18mm GonG fits - the E-Nano is probably going to be right in my face. Sadly though I don't have anything to test it out with at the moment.

Incidentally, I picked this little hammer pipe up a while ago to use with my Solo and it's great - it's like a hydro tube that sits below the Solo so you don't have to worry about water getting to the electronics, and the capacity is so small that you don't have to worry about removing the Solo between hits, you can just let the Solo sit on top and hit it like a dry stem but with bigger, tastier clouds. I hold both the Solo and the pipe in the same hand for support to make sure the GonG doesn't break.

Any help deciding between the D020-D and FC187 v2?

Any help deciding between the D020-D and FC187 v2?

They're both very nice and function as you'd expect so it's kinda hard to say. The FC-187 V2 is definitely the bigger of the two, it feels heavier and sturdier than the D020-D but I actually managed to crack it during the first clean.. I guess I was shaking too vigorously with the iso/salt as a very small crack appeared about half-way down the downstem, between the perc and the dewar joint. It still works fine though and at least the perc is fixed to the bottom of the can in the FC-187 so it hopefully won't break completely. Still not sure how it could've happened really, guess I was just unlucky with this one.

I thought I'd prefer the side-car style of the FC-187 but I actually prefer the D020-D design, and I'd also say the D020-D has a more comfortable mouthpiece for me. Overall, I'd have to say I prefer the D020-D as despite it not feeling as sturdy as the FC-187, I prefer the smaller size and the mouthpiece.

Something else to note... I don't like how recessed the dewar joint is on the FC-187. When I use my E-Nano and GonG, I like to pull them both off at the same time at the end of the hit using my little (pinkie) finger to grab the GonG. Because the dewar joint on the FC-187 is so recessed, the GonG sits too deep and the E-Nano is too close to the top of the can for me to get to the GonG without taking the E-Nano off first. So when I use the FC-187 with my E-Nano, I use a 18mm male to 18mm female adapter and then put the GonG in that.

Dangus

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Morning all.

Saw this on CCG's youtube, but it's not out yet. (judging from the comments, they are switching the perc to a shower head vs those pinholes...)

It was worked american glass. It was made by Highly Possible. It is american, and it can be verified. Then the First tube was also made by some local guy too.
It was not the blowers faults here. The first tube was a clear beaker with a little wigwag on the bottom and a worked dome made local by a newer artist. It made me really happy to buy it the first day too, I was actually getting a nice, thick, locally made piece. I feel bad because at the shop they probably blamed the blower and they won't get glass from him again, but both of those rigs are cracked, it's not a coincidence. It's not the blowers faults, it's the shop. Then Highly possible is a pretty decent company, they have some nice stuff if you search them. It's obviously american. Something about Primal of wilkesbarre breaks a lot of glass. No glassblower would let those rigs leave the workshop. While it took me about an hour to notice these cracks, it would have taken the blower a second to notice them and a night to fix them. Then the headshop should have noticed them instantly too, if they actually came in that way or cared at all. Glass is their business. but considering they were both broken, they apparently have juggling contests with glass in the backroom or something. Or maybe once the new glass comes in they pile it in their arms like firewood and throw it onto the shelves. I don't know what's happening there, but either way glass is getting broken and they either know so little they don't notice or they just don't care.

It wasn't the glass itself, it was the retailer. It couldn't have been the glass 2 times. I've bought tons of glass from other shops and even a bunch from china and I've never gotten cracks like these before.

You can always get a drop down to get the nano out of your face. That's what I do when using my under dog through my ccg fab egg.

You could even get a 14mm male to 18mm and it would double as your adapter.

Getting Lost
@Rusty778 and anyone else interested in how a solo performs with a large piece should read back a few pages. I posted a gif of the fc-1000 being milked with the solo set on 7. It works wonderfully.
Never suggested that it couldn't, just that some people with less powerful lungs than yours may find certain vapes have too much restriction with multiple percs/large volume pieces. Never meant to knock the solo :2c:

Funny, I feel completely the opposite about this.
Exactly. All my 14mm male rigs now have a sticky ground glass joint thanks to vapor buildup on the male joint (haven't found any effective way to get them completely clean - PBW helps, but not completely). I prefer an 18mm female joint - never get's sticky with vapor residue, and pretty damn universal.

I've seen a few cool rigs (like the D-Cycler) that I want, but I'm not going to purchase because they only come with a male fitting. From now on, I'm only buying bubblers with female fittings
