I got impatient after I didn't hear back from Epic right away. Busted out the multimeter (thanks @Uzer ) and quickly determined the power supply cable was bad on the nano end.
Quick trip to the lighting store, where the dudes there didn't believe I had diagnosed the problem correctly (and also I think were very very bored).
Testing complete and once they realized I wasn't an idiot they got me a nice bit of cable that fit the nano prongs. A little soldering help from my lovely partner in crime and ta-da:
THUNDER ROLLS, LIGHTNING CRASHES!!! AH HA HA HA!! IT'S ALIVE!
A bit of a Frankenstein vibe, I don't actually intend on using it much until I get a real cable replacement but here it is. I'm exhausted after a long beautiful day out so I haven't even gotten to actually use it for its primary purpose yet but I was so overjoyed to see it light up I wanted to share.
Anyway, I hope to god posting this publicly doesn't utterly void my warranty or mark me as epic vape thought criminal. Just wanted to share the happy ending. Thanks everyone for all the help.

So guys I just got home from work to find my nano arrived!!
All I can say is I am blown away... up until tonight I have been combusting and I am more than satisfied with my resultslol I thought i might have to ease my way into the vape world but this was pry the best experience I could have had
Bro, I am sooo happy for you. I got my Cherry a few weeks ago after my vape friend showed me his. I've had a magic flight box for the past 2 years with PA and bubbler adapter and decided to take a deeper plunge into the vape world. And here I am. And now I can't stop researching vapes and reading what everyone has to stay!

I went with cherry as well and yeah I can tell I'm already addicted to the vape world.
I've done pretty good so far and only combusted once (by accident with too high of temp). Mainly been using the dry stem but have tried the GonG a few times. Will the amount of diffusion or the size of your bong affect the amount you should load/distance/temperature its set at?
I'm having a little more trouble dialing it in but the dry stem has been working great! Only using about a third of my normal smoking amount each sesh, which is amazing.

Practice, practice, practice and it will teach you how it wants to be used.

I agree with this......ive had my nano for 4 months and ive just recently discovered a new draw technique.....i think im getting more of a full lung pull now....im getting better flavor and effects.....i cant explain it
I also had my screen fall out of the bottom of my gong yesterday

But yeah its pry just how I'm hitting it lol I'm thinking its my draw with my bong, its got a lot of airflow so I'm gonna mess with water levels a little bit.

Few things to take into consideration. If you inhale fast with ur stem, u want a similar temperature and draw rate with you're water piece. The higher the temp, the faster the draw. Lower the temp, slower the draw. If you like slow milky bong rips, get that temp on a 6.5-6.8 and heat soak 20 secs and give a nice steady pull as if you were sipping soup...through a bong. If you wanna rip it hard, turn that sucker on 7.5 and rip rip rip.
I like to push my screen a little bit further away than the default for my bubbler adapter. (If you didn't know, default is that notch that's on your Epic E-Pic). I keep the temp anywhere from 6.8-7.5 for my bubbler. I would say my draw rate is medium - medium fast, about that of a or regular bubbler. I pack enough to get 1 superb tasting hit, 1 very satisfying hit, and 1 hit that has dulled flavor but still produces lots of vapor. I stop there. I stir my load after every hit every time, stem or bubbler.
With my stem, I keep the screen at default or a tiny tiny bit further away, and turn my temp to an average of 6.5, never passing 7. 6 when I just wanna chill on it for a bit. Heat soak for 5-10 or just rip right away.
I feel that my nano runs hot. I get huge clouds in seconds on 6.5 with the stem. Either way, I love it. Only had it for 2 weeks now but I've been on fuckcombustion every day since.

Yeah, when I have a hard time drawing, it's time to clean them... when I empty my Gongs, I blow a quick burst back through them to dislodge as much from the screen as I can. Fine spray of brownish dust usually results...

Loving the nano folks, it really is everything I wanted from my buddha in a much smaller package. I really enjoy taking dry hits around 7.25, but I also enjoy taking long drawn out milky tokes from the bong around 6.5. This thing is a powerhouse, and the buddha has moved into the closet.

Great work @whatupwhatup ! Hadn't even though about the cord, but makes sense. Doubt the cords get tested. Would think Andy just has a cord or two (or five!) for testing and just hooks the new nanos up to them. You should be good to go with your fixed cord, but would definitely let Andy and Nadia know you need a replacement. That white cord on there looks so odd!! Don't think this is a warranty issue. From what we've seen in the past you're all good unless you open the nano itself.

Yep.... the nano just keeps giving and usually is very rewarding to good tweaks. I still play with load size, temps and screen heights when in the mood.
Stretch those screens out and they'll stop moving so much. Trick is to stretch all the way up the sides, not just at the open end. Use a dowel or something to stretch them all the way to the closed/flat side. Think you'll see quite an improvement. IME, this is the only real required maintenance with the nano. Cleaning and keeping screens in shape. Or, guess you could just replace more often - but I'm to cheap for that.

I use a very small Swiss Army knife to scrape that black gold off of the walls of my GonGs, with another small metal tool roll it all into a ball and dip into into herb to coat it so it's not sticky on the outside anymore so you can handle or store it. It's heavily sedating.
