Just to make sure, does anyone no if it includes a battery in the $135 price? because it says Extra battery under the battery for $7 (so you assume 1 is provided) but no mention of this battery on the pen page (so you assume it's not provided in the price) , but then this would mean it wouldn't work when you buy it so i am assuming there's 1 provided ;) thanks in advance.
Yes, as far as I understand, the vape comes with 1 battery and a charger.

There's only one new vape coming out which is shipping without a battery or charger, that's the Evoke (seriously wtf lotolabs!)

Yup thanks, i live abroad so may pay to get 3 or even 4 extra batteries because of postage charges, i wonder how long they would last (well enough) for a user that would use them for a few hours 3 or 4 days a week?
It's always good to have a couple of spares in case you are out all day i guess there's no point in having more than 4 as long as you can get to an electricity point when they run out.
How long are they going to last on average? do they dissipate enough in a year or 2 for me to wait for a newer stock and get more at a later date and have to pay the postage..

Maybe by saying charged they mean it will have a loaded bowl, ready to go?

I'm going to email him and ask for a sativa charge, not an indica.

What are the odds on your charge arriving in a cashed state? I heard their assembly positions come with a full suite of benefits.

Im thinking of moving out there just to help get units out to get mine ... Hell ill be the coffee guy if it means more time assembling and preparing

Then you'll need the coffee pods from Uncle Ike's in Seattle (google it), though at 10mg per cup, you may need several.

idk if I'd say it is bad information... if that was the case and isnt officially resolved yet I would be considering it still not being sent with it if I were waiting for it imo
The email I received, which I can't quote directly because no permissions were asked for, made it very CLEAR that they were working hard to change this. They have received a lot of static about it and they are highly motivated to resolve the issue and I believe they will.

Seriously, has any of the IGG backers messaged Trevor recently to know what the heck we're still waiting on?? I don't care when I see mine, I just want to know SOMEONE is getting what they paid for!
I'm a backer & I asked. This is the reply:

We are hoping to get the first ones out before the end of the month. Beyond that we have to see how fast assembly moves to know how soon we will get through all of them.

Not unless you think the Evoke people are lying to me.
The information you provided simply says that they "may" change the decision not to include the battery and charger.
It's information they only provided to you, not the general public.

This isn't the correct place though, and I have no interest in the evoke.
I was simply pointing out that Ratchet's information isn't bad because it is still the last decision that was made public.
The information you provided still hasn't been decided on, so could very well be the "bad information".

Hey all, long time lurker, first time poster. Someone on reedit just posted this on r/grasshoppervape.

I emailed Trevor about what "final details" were holding up shipping and asked about my shipping estimate (I'm in the late 12000s). I had asked if mine would likely be shipped by the middle of June.

Here is his reply:

"We are working on a number of things before shipping. Large scale testing, final tweaks, product labels, legal compliance, and of course assembly. We have lots of help to assemble Hoppers and are working on setting up the full time crew. As I am sure you can imagine getting people trained up also takes a large amount of time. We cannot accept any poor quality work and right now everything needs to be checked by Matt or myself. Hang in there, just because we are very close doesn't mean we should cut any corners now.

I am not perfectly confident of delivery in that time. You are in the 2nd half of the backer orders so we have quite a few to ship before we get to yours. We have to see how fast we can get assembly moving and how well the supply chain can keep up."

So it seems they've still got a ways to go.

Well that is a better response than the previous email... Def easier to accept knowing what the hold up is. Although it stinks they are probably going much slower bc of training people on assembly, it should help a lot in the long run getting them out. I also like how they are getting more and more vague about potential shipping as to not lead people to expect them sooner than they should. A little depressing in that it seems like Im probably looking closer to the end of June if June at all but hopefully they have a lot of people coming in as the "full time crew" and can get them trained properly and quickly to really get moving. It will probably be a small shipment in the beginning and progressively getting more and more out each week as time goes by

I shivered at the idea of legal compliance still being a working item.

And the labels weren't made with the boxes?

And where are the boxes? I looked over some of the old photos in this thread of the boxes, and it looks like they're all the same. Someone could have done that in photoshop. I know because I can see the pixels!

Sorry, I shouldn't have skipped breakfast today.

Do they need to have UL certification for something like this?

Damn, I'm 13,500 or so, guess I have a few weeks to wait. Going to a concert at Red Rocks in August, I really hope to have it then. Shit, I just remembered I went to a concert LAST August and hoped to have it by THEN.

I hope not, that takes some time and they can't certify until the standard production model is finalized. My early Nano has no certification.
