i figured it out, their email confirming addresses is to buy more time. Once you get your email. reply to it immediately confirming your address and see how long it takes to get tracking info.

If its not emailed to you within 2-3 days their doing this to buy time and shut us up about the shipping date.

Stress test each unit? That could take a little while.

Yeah. Even if they are just going to briefly bench test each unit before shipping as normal inspection, they probably will want to test at least a hundred or so before they ship anything. This will be the first time they've had enough parts to test this way, so some mfg defects or other glitches could start showing up in testing. Huh.

The team is taking quality very seriously and putting each individual unit through a stress test of several ounces of quality material.
Imagine if the so-called stress tests fail. Another 6+ months delay!! To design, receive and/or assemble new parts!

If someone could show me how to make one gram last several days I'd gladly pay them a percentage of the money I'd be saving.

7 grams ($100) a week for me.

Pinnacle Pro, Pax, Palm 2.0, Vapor Blunt 2.0, and a Snoop Dogg G Pen is what I have now. 2 GH's on the way.

It's not the right thread for this but you need to use a more efficient vape with an on-demand type of delivery (vs 'session' delivery type of vaporizers). The most efficient (on-demand) portable is the MFLB for me. I doubt any vaporizers can beat it. The most efficient desktop on-demand vaporizers is the E-Nano. Possibly in part because of it's small 10mm screen but also because of how it's designed. There's possibly other ones (all log vapes are good for efficiency from what I hear. Even the original vaporbrothers is not bad with the "mini wand"). It's important for your vape to be on-demand since that's the way you can adjust the amount of herb (tokes) you want precisely without needing to commit to another large 0.2g sessions for example. It's much better if it can use very small amount of herb since with such vaporizers you can keep vaping all day while still saving on herbs and money. So you can still be OCD ;) (aka keep the habit of constantly vaping all day long), if you're that type of person. Even if you're not, those type of vaporizers gives you more control over the amount of herbs and the number of tokes you take at the same time. My Nano seems to hit a bit harder for the same quantity of herb than the MFLB probably due to it's convection air but you need to put enough herb to cover the 10mm screen which may be around 0.02-0.05g, I never weighed it. In the MFLB, there's no minimal amount of herb. Of course, YMMV. I'm speaking from my experience and what I read.

Hint: it involves taking mouse-sized doses.

Some of those other dudes don't even vape every night. Crazy, right?

/end vape snob rant

Edit: will this thread hit 300 pages before pre-orders ship?
I hope not... Mainly BC I hope they start tn.... One can dream right?

The herbalizer is a miserly creature. It's super efficient and you can vape as little as you wish.

Personally, I believe they built a transdimensional gateway into the bowl. When activated, it sends the vapor into an alternative universe that is 100 percent a concentrate of whatever strain you are using.. after it collects power, back it goes, into your lungs.

Yeah, I think if I'd been waiting a year, I'd have completely lost hope by now. I've only been watching this for about 3 months and I'm nagged with little doubts about it. Props to everyone who's managed to stay sane all this time.
Who says we're sane!?!

"Vape less"? I wouldn't think that'd even be an option. :\

Thanks much for the advice WoodyWeedPecker, much appreciated. I'll look into on demand vapes. I'd never really heard that. Call me a rookie I suppose.

Yep, the Herbalizer is miserly. So is the Firefly. I can make a gram last several days in either one..........but I don't typically do so. I should mention that I'm retired though, so maybe it isn't a fair comparison.

I think it's funny people are talking about looking into getting an on demand vape to use fewer herbs :p

Did we forget that that's what the grasshopper is? Lol

I guess we will know that for sure ( how much herb we go through) when we get more FCers with these GHs in their hot little hands. Hopefully this will be happening soon. May all the preorders be filled by summer.:) Or by the 4th of July - a 4th with fireworks +

The fact that the creator(s) of the Grasshopper have absolutely no online presence on FC, GC, Reddit, or anywhere else says a lot about them.

It's been since Oct 2014 since GH creator was on FC, what I can tell. He is smart to wait to come back on here, folks are a little on the anxious side to say the least. I think with all the dates that have come and gone you can't hardly blame folks for being anxious.

The fact that they answer every email we've sent them says a lot about them.

Scrolling through threads takes up more time than replying to an email.
Every time I've emailed Trevor I get a response by the next day. To me that says a lot. They are aware of the members here and that most of the replies he sends get posted here.

Just to make sure, does anyone no if it includes a battery in the $135 price? because it says Extra battery under the battery for $7 (so you assume 1 is provided) but no mention of this battery on the pen page (so you assume it's not provided in the price) , but then this would mean it wouldn't work when you buy it so i am assuming there's 1 provided ;) thanks in advance.

I realise now there has to be as it says extra battery, sorry for adding to the already too many posts
