Go to your Post Office and complain -- it's a hassle to get ahold of a supervisor, but when I finally did, my carrier-related problems went away. I have the supervisor's name and number stored in my phone for next time, but both times I had carrier troubles, she got it sorted for me. Try to avoid the main counter line, unless that's the only place you can get someone to go look for their super. You will be displeased if you use the main line out of courtesy, I assure you.

It sounds like your carrier is lazy, but then again USPS is attempting to run on less funding than ever, so sometimes they have 1 dude doing 2 routes, and covering for a 3rd while someone is sick/on vacation. When they're expected to do the impossible, the unfortunate side effect is a stream of short cuts and poor service. The supervisor I mentioned reworked the way they handled "covered" shifts on the route I'm on, and I started getting my mail again

I had the same usps problem, instead of coming to my door I got a slip in the group mailbox at 10:30 with the reason being "receptacle blocked" while I sat by the screen door waiting for him until 3. At least I was playing Wolfenstein while I waited.

On a happier note I got it now. It's like the love child of a cart and a globe. Can't wait to see what crazy stuff will fit on the globe ring and what other crazy stuff will screw onto the base. Though I'm most excited to not be at work so I can use it.

Just wanted to complain about my AC. I'm upset with the fact that it has now rendered all my other carts and globes useless! Now what am I supposed to do with them? :tup:

The sharply cut grooves on the cart style top of the KISS AC almost looks like it could hold o-rings, but it sure would be a strange place to expect them to be in use, since the globe top makes so much sense as a connector for glass. Must just be for futuristic looks.

My plan to reduce/reuse/recycle includes giving away all of my previous carts and globes to friends who still havent heard the good word and are bashing their head against a wall complaining about their current pen. I bought them with that intention (well, the 7.4v KISS Ti are still for me, and my 510 threaded globe is permanently stuck in my 510 mod, but much of it is/was to give away, since it was so hard to convince *me* to try a new pen after a bad experience).

Pretty much. 3.7v takes longer and does produce decent results with the single AC coil. I didn't feel it was effective enough for the dual coil, but im just using it with the cartridge style top, so my technique with the new atomizers could definitely be improved w/ globe -- I'm willing to bet you can get reasonable hits with 3.7 if you can tell what's going on in there.

I have an original v1 1701 donut and have been running it on a small pen battery at 3.7. Battery has to be completely charged for it to work properly, so I am looking forward to using it with the 8. Just a cpl of clarifications:

4.9 -5.0v would be best to run it at, so if I am using w9 gear for this voltage, I would need the core?

Did @THC SCIENTIFIC mention that the v2 donut will be available in the future in non-AC form?

is there any word on them restocking the nibbler xl and if there will be a sale on it soon. hitting the sr74x too frequently without water is making me cough randomly at times. feels like my lungs are coated with oil now.

I got my AC today and I'm stoked. BUT mine looks exactly the same as the other member who posted the pic of the shavings inside. Right inside the mouthpiece. I don't want to inhale SS shavings. Kinda dissapointing. I tried to poke at it with something but they are stuck there.

They look so dope on the outside that having burrs in the holes and jacked up threads was really surprising. The exterior looks fantastic - I can't find a blemish on the outside whatsoever, and the aesthetics are genuinely cool looking.

Also, the heft feels nice. There's a little weight behind it, that's lacking in the kISS carts; similar to how the 8 feels after using a Persei. I mean, certainly the Persei and KISS carts are awesome FOR their light weight, but the opposite is by no means a detractor with the SS device/cart.

I have that too. I was able to poke a some off, but there's a little still on there. Though I have to admit I used it anyways once to compare it to the globe. I was using something kind of flimsy so I was going to get something stronger to knock them off with tonight.

guys take a small flat head screw driver and just push them off, i know this shouldnt happen but im really pissed and really really disappointed in my team atm. All current Kiss Alphas are going through a secondary inspection by me and me only, this means im sitting here and going through them one by one.

Damn it USPS! My KISS AC tracking still just says "Label Created" from last Thursday. THC Scientific posted that they all went out on Friday so I know USPS has it. I guess I have to call and ask "What the hell?" It's especially annoying because it would be nice to know when it is coming since I have to sign for it!

a few labels where created but since it has a part inside we dont have like the 7.4v donuts they are waiting here to be shipped soon as we get them in.

We do have the standard globe 1701 disposable versions.

Carts look great. Give us a pic of the coil too! Didn't realize the dual coil was going to be a wider diameter. What a beast! The rebuildable 1701 looks like the old first gen 1701 for the old Kiss Globe. You have got me super pumped now. Can't wait for my AC to arrive on Wednesday!!

@THC SCIENTIFIC Feedback from girlfriend is that AC should come in colors. She wants purple to match her Omicron!

Black and brushed might the only colors available.

yes it can be used on a VV if you VV can handle it, but mind the power please. Not sure what the Istick can handle.

If today then it's cleaned. As much as I like to have everyone's trust im still human, please always make sure your self when today you get it.

The person who was in charge of QC was disciplined and is on their last strike.

Got my AC today, and rocked it out dual coil Centauri style. First impression is it's surprisingly small and heavy as others have said. Really nice feel and all my threading is perfect. I did have some spurious metallic bits at the upper air holes as others, but in my case a paper clip was able to remove them so no problem for me there.

I did a burn off on the dual coil at 7.4 and the coils glowed quite readily. I did notice that one the coils is significantly hotter than the other. Then I switched to 3.6v and loaded some nug run blue dream crumble. All I can say is :love:

. The coils never glow but made short work of the crumble turning it into delicious tasting clouds of vapor in a matter of a few seconds.

Some things I wish (all minor really):
I wish it worked on my Iris v1 (shows Lo)
I wish my Nibbler-GN fit on it

(don't understand why not)
I wish it sat flush against the Persei top (hate the 3/16th inch gap)
I wish it had a larger place to hold it above the air control swivel and maybe some "teeth" like the Oceans has.
I wish the air control swivel was a bit better at staying put, mine turns very easily and I need to keep checking it.

All in all I am quite pleased though and looking forward to new developments to the AC platform. :peace:
