Mine clicks on at 7:30, I get major resistance from 9:00' to 12:30, at 1:00 I get no resistance at all, all the way until the end 5:00. I don't know why there is resistance at those positions but as long as its working properly, zero Fks given.
Last time, I was able to go as far as about 4:00 until I combusted (badly) with the wpa.

I let some friends of mine try the LSV with their hydraline and blew them away. They previously had only been satisfied with Vapexhale cloud and evo, and found every other vape to be lacking to their high tolerance and cloud chasing. One rip each was enough to destroy them, and they quickly pronounced it to be better than their evo, as well as many other shocked compliments. For some reason, they never liked my DBV.

Gotta love the unyielding power of a glowing ceramic rod in a simple design.

^^Too funny! No regrets yet, but this thread starts out tough to read.. Any tips for a newb who's only real experience with vaping herb is in the last month or so with the underdog and the hammer. I like the smaller loads and have seen the screen "baskets recently in the ssv thread. I think that's my direction anyways. Anyone doing any oil dabbing attachments for the lsv yet? Any advice or pointer?
The acronyms page needs updated.
ELB?
EQ basket?
M2M? Male to male?
WPA? water pipe attachment i think.

Thanks

Still learning how to use my LSV, but here's what I gather

M2M is an 18mm Male to Male adapter, standard piece that comes with most DHgate bubblers with a female fitting.

ELB is a basket used in the Cloud Evo:

And the EQ Basket is used in the Arizer Extreme Q Vaporizer:

Basically, take one of these baskets, and drop it into an 18mm Male to Male piece. Voila, you've got yourself a kickass waterpipe adapter for the LSV!

I've got the EQ baskets right now, those seem to work best for VERY small loads, and I've got some ELB's on the way to play with.

Don't know about dabbing, but with this versatile vaporizer, I see myself designing a ton of 3D printed accessories once I find a high-temp vapor safe material to work with. I've ideas for dedicated concentrate WPA's and flower pieces with built in turbines to circulate the convection air for what I hope to be the ultimate convection flower experience.

Still, I see a lot of potential with this vape, I know it's not the newest vape around, but damn if I'm not happy with my purchase so far!

Ratchett did a good job of explaining. The eq screens are for small bowls. The ELB is for larger loads or can use for smaller load too. In addition, you can use hemp or cotton fiber with concentrates in the ELB for convection dabbing.

I see this the same as your underdog inverted, but a real workhorse that is like my enano on steroids. I use enano for herb conservation. The lsv is for herb consumption. I had the same questions and Stickstones retailer set me straight.

I had trouble with the m2m solution because I couldn't see the herbs so purchased the lsv wpa. Changed my experience for the better.

I've had my LSV for over 2 years now and the only way I ever mated it to a bubbler or bong was with the LSV's WPA but since I started using the Q basket in the M2M, my WPA hasn't seen the light of day.....or night. It just provides me with a much more even "burn" without having to stir at all, unlike the WPA where I got dark spots even when I stirred after every hit.

Do you load the Q Basket full? Or just a few crumbs on the bottom?? I find when full, I scorch the load a bit

cant really base anything off 1 use imo... overall, my evo clearly outperforms my lsv after years of owning both. could come down to the specific device - evo not properly tuned up, lsv hc glass variance, etc.

they are close though and both can use 18mm male connections and elbs, so straight up comparisons are easy to do. i still prefer the ssv w/standard hc above all other 7th floor models/configurations.

of course i havent tried that lsv-ssv w/ssv gong... that looks fun :science:

@grokit , now that you mention plumbing parts, a plumbing shop is probably a great place to go to find something to serve as a stand. the LSV is cylindrical in shape after all, they must have something we could use effectively.
