FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

@KeroZen:I use it upside down all the time with the OEM H20 Adapter
so my pucks moving all over the place

when i smoke during the day my bowls are only .025 - .050
I want a vape that uses less material

Wow! I thought I was a microdoser! I've never tried weighing out and only using 0.025gm. 0.05gm is the smallest I use and it's usually good for two sessions of 2-3 ten second draws. That is all I need to get lightened up. But if I'm in a group I load 0.15 to 0.25gm (just about the max you can put in the ceramic bowl tamped down well.)

V5.0S or mini?
I was originally going for the pro but it's more expensive. For my first vaporizer I think the .os or mini would do. Which one would you get?

Thanks! I wonder how much cheaper the V5.0s is going to get now that the pro and mini are out.
The Mini is a solid performer, been my only vape for about a month now.

Features I'd put over the V5.0s:
- size
- air pathway thru mouthpiece storage for better air and variable flow
- USB charging so not another wall wart

Reason to get V5.0s over Mini:
- likely cheaper
- double batteries - 8-10 bowls vs 4 bowls

I also like not having an LED lighting the bowl, and the USB charge port means I'll have a backup vape and power bank in one should my Grasshopper ever exist.

Anyway, the price isn't that different, and the V5.0s isn't that big, so I'd suggest choosing based on your anticipated use and access to USB vs 110.

Where would be the best website to buy a Flowermate v5s from in the U.S. I want to try out one of these bad boys for a portable, becus I always have to combust if I go out and hate ever bit of it. But when I'm at home my underdog is the best dog ever

Jury is back.
One question.
What is a wall wart? ;)

I'm really on the fence. Should I get this over the alfa. I've narrowed it down to these two and will be buying at the end of the weeK. Is the mini good ourdoors?I used to have s problem with the pax1 cooling down when I'm outside on a cold windy day. That's why I leaning more towards the alfa. But if someone can convince me that this is better I'll get the mini. And I know price is the biggest difference

Um, aka a transformer or a power supply, or the boxy heavy thing w the wall plugs coming out of it. Nice thing about USB is its a voltage standard, so all USB devices can share a tiny power supply or a port on your computer, stereo, etc.

Haven't used the Alpha, but I can see where the extra money went, looks like something of a better experience but can't say if it's worth it to you. Alpha has longer vapor path, a bowl more battery life than the Mini, little faster heat up (and apparently is great w/ 4 second draws so maybe more powerful?). The High setting on the Alpha is 446f, that seems really close to combustion and not a good temp for what you'd get anyway. The low is 374f, probably a bit more flavorful than the Mini's 385. I mostly vape at 385 - a good heady extraction point - and only visit higher temps when I want a more stoney effect, and 400/415 are good steps. The Alpha's Medium at 410 is a bit too far for sometimes, I'd never use High.

I'm sure all vapes have to adjust for ambient temp - the Mini would surely tax the battery faster in cold weather, but the variable air path helps and it has the power. I like the Alpha but would still go w/ the Mini cause the temps suit my use.

Thanks for the reply I'm so undecided. Lol

Looking to purchase my first vaporizer and is the Flowermate 5.0S worth it for under $100?

Looks like puffitup is selling em for $80

Worth is subjective, but it's a good buy for $85 IMO, and Randy will back the warranty. It's simple, and easy to use and clean. Starting temp is a little high but just start drawing before the blue light goes solid and you'll get a couple of lower temp hits.

Thank for your input.

I was also contemplating if i should spend a little more and get something like the Arizer Air or PAX instead? Or should I just stick with the Flowermate? Looking to keep it for as long as possible

I`ve got a Solo and an FM V5.0...Solo mostly stays at home and the FM goes out with me.
The Solo doesn`t travel as easily so it`s always good to have more than one vape depending on your needs...both of these are good choices though!

There's just so many choices and this is all new to me. I will probably just get a FM Pro and call it a day and start vaping!

I would say that`s definitely a really good place to start. Once you`re more familiar with vaping then you can see what else might suit your needs but the Pro is a great choice and should serve you well for a good long time...

Does anybody know a coupon code for the FM Pro from puffitup.com

Edit: I just saw that the Arizer Air is $169 and the FM Pro at $119. Hmmm... decisions..
