Just load your stem and put your nano on top, then turn it right side up. You don't need an extra screen.

I use mine as a sipper usually. You can use the little epic tool to measure where the screen needs to be but you can move it up or down depending on your personal needs.

It's all in the reflexes.
Can someone please show me how they pack the long stem dry? It has one of the cupped screen in there, with the flat side pointing down. Do I put my herb in on the bottom and put in another screened cup below?

I have only used my nano with a bubbler and would like to try it as a sipping vape. Pictures would help.

Put your material in the end with less space. Then tamp it down a bit. Hold it like a cigar. Attach nano. Enjoy!

They don't sell these in stores, just online from their own website right?

Really tempted to get one of these over an Arizer Solo. Need a powerful vape for glass bong/bubbler hits.
Anybody own both or hit both and can offer a quick comparison?

Also, I saw that this goes up to 560F.. could I put shatter in the Aroma therapy cup and hold the mouth piece over that and vape my shatter like that? Not sure the actual temp needed to vape concentrates.

I have both as do many others in this thread......i think they compliment each other perfectly......if i could only have one i would choose my e-nano all day
As far as shatter goes.....no you cant use your aroma cup for that....you can do a bud wax bud sammich......you can use cotton or hemp.....or some people. use ss wool.....and i think some people use a pad from the volcano or cloud im not sure.....plenty of options though

You can use the solo aroma cup as an aroma cup with the nano....

I have the Solo as well as a Enano. I noticed that there are quite a few folks that have both. The Enano is a little bit more of a harder hitter. You can use less herb also lower and raise the screen for a more of a tailored hit. Some folks use a little herb for a couple of hard hitting draws or some use more and just sip a bit and get their meds that way over a 10 min session or so. I am fairly new to the nano, but having fun learning.

If I don't want to be tethered to a cord in the house I use the Solo. I agree they do compliment each other. They both give really great vapor flavor.

Everybody has been really helpful with their suggestions and knowledge.

EDIT
One thing I want to add is that the flavor is better at the end of my sessions with the Nano. Even though the ABV gets dark the flavor keeps coming.

@paytonpenn may be on to something he informed me of a product called Readyxwick as well as Japanese cotton. Time to fire up the sexy satinwood Nano and get baked like beans!

Is it possible for the ceramic heating core to slide down further into the stainless steel sleeve it resides in?
Negative, the ceramic core is mounted into the base of the unit. It cannot be re-positioned. However, you can move your herb further away from the heat simply by dropping the basket screen several mm.

Try the basket at the normal depth of 15mm, then try the same temperature setting at 20mm, you'll notice a huge difference.

I realized after your response that I phrased my question incorrectly.

I'm not looking to move the ceramic core, I'm wondering if it's possible that it moved on it's own.

I noticed my unit seemed to be running cooler than normal. Usually it's blazing hot at 6.5 and first hit browns my materials surface. But all of a sudden, that's not happening. Cloud production is much lighter as well.

I inspected my unit, and it looks like the ceramic core is further away from the screen than it used to be. (though it's absolutely possible I'm incorrect)

So my question was really is there anything that could happen which would cause it to sink further into the stainless steal core it's housed in.

I should mention my unit's been knocked over a few times on a table. And it did develop a slight rattle and metallic ping if you tap it's side.

My E-Nano is like that too. I leave it on 6.5 all the time and some sessions it feels very hot to touch, other times I can barely feel the heat. When it feels very hot the vape remains come out very dark compared to when it doesnt feel hot.

What you are describing sounds like an ongoing variation of temp. That's not what I'm experiencing.

I've had this particular unit since late December. And it functioned exactly the same until the past few days. There were no cooler or hotter days. Just blazing heat.

As I previously stated, this coincides with it being knocked over and developing an audible rattle, and metallic, "ping," sound when you tap it's side with your finger.

I would email Andy/Nadia. Their customer support was most excellent when I needed it.

It takes a while to get a response from Nadia/custimer service through email.

I also have a plinking noise when I tap the side, near the top, of the nano. Does this mean the heater is loose?

Yes, sometimes it does. I've had interactions with them before for CS reasons, and although the turn around time isn't the quickest, they always take care of you.

Regarding the, "plinking," sound. I don't know what it means, nor am I attempting to spread panic. Just looking to see if any other Nano users have had similar experiences.

What I do know is my Nano did not always make that noise, nor did it rattle. And when the noise/rattle began, my unit seemed to not heat as well at the temps I normally use.

Of course it could be totally coincidental.

Hi Walter! The Nano's come with a spring to clamp the ceramic in place, sounds like yours may have came loose. If it gets too irritating @ACE OF VAPE can fix it. I have one like that, it just tings when picked up or moved suddenly or gets tipped. If you didn't change outlets or other electrical changes, definetly send it in and let the Nano master take a look. Mine runs like a beast at 6 after warmed up. I've had them perform best from 6-7.5 range, I questioned the length of the ceramic as well as the SS stem. I've definetly had different sizes of both between my Nano's over the years, though these changes are very small and only noticeable when you have multiples together. Hope it works out for ya buddy!

Thanks so much for the reply. Good info regarding the spring.

No changes in anything electrical. And as I said, my nano ran very hot, never had to use it above 6.5 for flowers.

Poor nano got swatted over on my kitchen table. After that I noticed it was running a tad cooler. Upon inspection, I noticed the rattle, the plinking/ting sound, and unless I'm crazy the ceramic rod seems deeper down into the stainless stem. Though that last part could be incorrect.

How much of the praise for the logs/nano is based on people using it through water? I want a nano to conserve weed, provide aromatherapy, get me ripped and sit on my desk not looking like a thing to smoke weed out of. to me it defeats the purpose of having it not looking like a thing to smoke weed out of to have it hooked up to a thing looking like a thing to smoke weed out of.

I've got two vapes already- a pax 1, which I think sucks basically, and a magic flight launch box which i'm pretty cool with.

Is the e-nano still a good fit for me if I never want to use water?

I use mine 80% of the time w/out water......it hits very hard and its not too harsh on my throat
