Avogadro is interested in the "flavors" that can be added to the Vape.
How is this done? Does it improve the experience?

Any advice would be welcome...

Why do you need flavor? What's wrong with the flavor of the herb as it is? I fucked combustion thanks to the awesome flavor of herb with my Davinci Ascent

Maybe try vaping some other more flavorful herbs first (like mint). The next few loads after will have an 'essence' of the previous flavor

I remember watching a video when some dude cooked a mini brownie in his Pax1. Said the next few loads after that experiment were the best tasting sessions he'd ever had. Though I don't know if I'd attempt to bake a brownie in my vape!!

I read of a user storing his medicine in a French vanilla coffee can or something to that nature, made his medicine smell like it. Smell has a huge influence in our sense of taste.

I've been meaning to buy this for a little while now.
It's a ceramic flavour disc, basically a small perforated puck like thing that you can add flavours to and then vaporise alongside herbs. I have an Extreme Q, and thought I could put that in the cyclone bowl whilst using the elbow-pack method to have simultaneous THC and e-Juice. Ultimately I never got around to ordering one as I don't like inhaling PG/VG flavour vapour as deeply as I do herb, and also I don't want to ruin the flavour of my cannabis, because it really varies so much and is crazy interesting tasty.

Another thing that has held me off is the temperature difference between an e-cigarette vape and the relatively high temps used with weed. I believe PG/VG typically vapes at around 70 deg C where as I typically set my EQ to 237.

Have you considered adding different herbs in to make legitimate potpourri? Things like mint, camellia or lemon leaves could all be quite interesting. Damiana has an interesting flavour when smoked, maybe it also has its sedative effect when vaped, whilst also tweaking the taste a bit. All interesting things to try. I might add some orange juice (squeezed) to my bubbler water and see if that has positive effect.

Vaping is great, why not experiment? Be good to have options for when you get skunk, although I'm yet to try a strain that has tasted anything less than pretty damn good!

Avogadro has never used any flavor. He sees them at his local smoke and glass shoppe and wonders about them. He agrees that the flowers alone are very tasty. Sour Diesel is his favorite, followed closely by Durban Poison and Trainwreck. He is just curious about the little bottles of flavors and wonders who is using flavors and how the flavor is used. He does not how it is done. Where does one put the flavor drops?

Avogadro,
cesar complex much? :D

good herb eliminates the need to flavour it with anything, it's divine tasting as is!

though i've heard flavoured weed is easy to come by in amsterdam these days :/

Your local smoke shop has 2 different types of flavors. One for smoking which will not work at all. The other more popular flavor stuff is for e-cigs.

Yes it e-cig juice will add flavor, but it is not meant to cook at the temperatures used for vaporizing herbs. It would be bad for your health. E-Cigs vaporize at a lower temperature than herbs.

However, you can buy this e-cig flavor, and use it with a ball of cotton (and no herbs). Set vaporizer to low temperature and puff away to enjoy flavor. You cannot use it safely with herbs at the same time (and the safety of that e-juice is still unknown, we do not know long-term effects on the human body)

However note that if you vaporize something else (Tobacco, Mint, E-Cig Juice, whatever), your next 1 or 2 sessions in the vaporizer will have some taste leftover. Maybe try vaporizing tea leaves

Many options available, but I suggest you purchase real ground herbs, not the juice! :2c:
