so not really sure the extent we discussed/figured out about a possible price increase after release but this was on reddit "I emailed them about this same thing and they told me that yes indeed the price will be going up after it releases. Didn't say how much but that it will."http://imgur.com/SlYlLZp

as we get closer to D-day I'm more and more tempted to change to ti...

And when is the "release"? After they shipped all preorders? I've been delaying my purchase and don't want to miss the bargain boat...

So am I, I'm still worried it would cause more of a delay though, no matter what anyone says
Thats part of my worry, though the bigger part is spending even more on a product that is just coming out without any type of actual final production units being out there for a bit

I would assume "release" to be around the time they are finishing pre-ordered units but dont know

-Powerful: Li-Pol battery allows for hi power heating, long battery life 4+ hours!

from reality ...

the on time being about 10 seconds at a time and I've been getting a good 20-30 clicks per charged battery with this method

i.e. 300 seconds = 5 minutes.

But when we watched Buzz Danklin's video - he used it for longer than 5 minutes on one battery. I think it was at least 20 minutes of use. I wonder how many minutes of battery life @BuzzDanklin is getting per battery at level 3.5? Apparently @Just Justin is only getting 5 minutes (20-30 clicks per charge each lasting 10 seconds)

Well, that video could possibly have been edited to take out the parts where they changed the batteries. Not that I'm saying they did, but it's entirely plausible, I think.

@Hippie Dickie that number was how long it would last just turning it off and on. I think people took it the wrong way and ran with it. I do think it was a little deceptive to make the claim, but the claim is based on on/off w/o hits.

There may be more battery efficient methods of use and I m trying different things. Maybe it will make more sense to click it on and hit it a few times then click off rather than after every hit. Even though my test is equivalent to 5 mins, I found that one battery was enough to get me through the day and the Grasshopper seems to give you much more punch per hit. Like Buzz said, you can kill a whole chamber in a few hits and I my chambers were pretty well spent after 5~6 hits on 3.5 At about 10 seconds a hit.

No... their specific claim was "3 hours of continuous usage" off of their indiegogo campaign. No amount of semantic workarounds can take the word usage to mean not actually using it. I think people took it the exact way that grass hopper intended for them to take it.

Although I do hope it turns out to last a bit longer, I think it wont be all that terrible. Because the GH is designed to be used differently than most battery vapes out there, 5 min seems like no time at all but it much more realistically since its not staying on in between hits(unless you keep it on) the battery isnt being used for a minute to heat up, etc.

Y'all also gotta think, that was years ago, a concept. That was probably the intended goal but might have just turned out to be unrealistic.

"3 hours of battery life" is actually what they said.

But does anyone still even care? If so, and you feel mislead, I'm sure you can sell yours to someone else. You might even make a profit!

20-30 10 second hits from one charge sounds great to me...

My quote is direct copy and paste from the campaign... that is exactly what they claimed.

I don't think it'll be bothersome, especially not with the batteries so cheap. I bought an extra with my order, and now I'll have a third for free, assuming my shipment doesn't magically make it out before the end of May, so I think I'll be set for battery life. Especially since the charger is so light and easy to carry around and can be plugged in almost anywhere.

So they were way off with their original estimates, how long ago did they come up with those numbers? Two years ago?

I still don't get why anyone is complaining about battery life. Get 2 or 3 spare batteries and toss them in your pocket

You wanted a small stealth vape. You got that, now you're already complaining about battery life? If I can load the vape and take 5-10 puffs on a single charge, It'll easily fulfill my personal stealth needs as a single-hitter

If I'm trying to vape for 3 hours (or several long sessions), I'm going to use a different vaporizer, not the GH.

So where's that pool for what page # we'll start getting reports of tracking numbers?

I've been on 5 crowdfunding campaigns, and none of them issued tracking numbers.
Maybe this will be the exception.
Although none of the others had personalized invoices like GH does....

doubt it... too individualized and would take up too much time away from manufacturing and shipping other units... Unless they have their system set up to get the shipping label and auto attach it to an account and have that same system be used to send out the emails

I think at one point they do mention the fact that the battery was still going without charging/replacing.
Really? Must have missed that part. Wonderful, if so, but I really wouldn't mind if it was only good for 10 consecutive minutes or something. That's enough for me to use it several times, and I'm almost always going to have the charger for it close to me, if I have the unit on me, so I'm expecting to be perfectly pleased with the battery life.
