It was just one of those days, reading through arguments didn't help.

New vape 3 part pax 2 accessories.

Originally just wanted pusher as I used a screen but this device looked like you could pack it down harder than the screen. It does pack down small amounts nicely. Decided to get screen just because it was a cheaper bundle.

Screen: haven't compared draw yet but it comes out so easily comepared to the original one which needs to be poked out which can be kind of a pain sometimes. This screen falls out from its substantial titanium weight. I am testing its heat characteristics vs the regular screen.

The oven lid. Got it because u can immerse it in alcohol. It has the desirable feature that u can adjust the flow by cover ing up more holes easily with finger. When all holes covered and slight squeeze might make draw more restrictive than original.

I've been using the pusher and am a fan. I used a folded screen before (and with my pax 1). The pusher may restrict airflow somewhat more than the screen, but since I find the pax 2 works best with a very light sip any extra resistance doesn't matter (to me).

I use the "poker" from the proto pipe to remove and drop in the pusher. The pusher has a center hole that the pp poker fits in. It makes for VERY easy use. And I use the pp poker to empty and scrape out the oven. It's almost shocking how little maintenance the unit needs!

I'll contact them and see if I can work out something! I guess shipping oversea won't be cheap. But perhaps I can "economize" some taxes when passing customs...

I have a pp somewhere around here too, I haven't used it in about a year...guess I'll have to find it, but others have said the pusher did NOT restrict airflow, I currently use a screen too...is the pusher MORE effective than the screen? Have you tried the vented lid as well?

I find both methods work to let you put a smaller load into the oven, and both result in even baking. I just think the pusher is a cleaner method. Also, from a design perspective, the pax 2 is such a pure piece, I like having something engineered to use in the oven rather than a folded screen. Kind of a vanity thing.

Honestly, I have never used the pax 2 without either a folded screen or the pusher, so I can't say whether either restricts airflow as compared to using nothing. I just didn't notice much, if any difference (re: airflow) between a folded screen and the pusher.

And I have not tried the vented lid. I'm not tempted to try that because I'm ok with the airflow as it is. And I trust the pax engineers to have considered and rejected that for the design they went with.

I wouldn't say I don't trust pax lab engineers...but they are making a product that is simple enough for everyone and casts the widest net... that's why the engineers didn't put screens or pushers in the box with the pax...but we find ourselves using them, because they fit our individual needs...so I'm tempted to try, but not willing to buy (yet)
...if it is a game changer, I don't want to be left behind...lol

This is my 1st time posting in this forum, but I've been reading the comments here for quite some time, lots of good information about vaporizers and how to improve your technique using them.
I am brazilian and in my country not many folks are aware about vaporizers like americans and europeans are. It's a very new thing in Brazil and I kind like that, the stealth factor of a vaporizer. Most folks around here just think vapes are like those e-cigaretes, so no one imagines I am actually vaping weed, which is a good thing for me. Brazil has still a long way to decriminalize weed, can't even imagine legalizing it.

I do envy the great stuff you guys can get in America and Europe, you know your stuff by name, strain, and only use high quality weed with your vaporizers. Here in Brazil weed is very cheap in terms of price and mostly quality. Our weed comes in bricks not buds, it's all the same, some are more brown, some are more green, no one knows the name of a strain, and the price is like 1 dollar for a gram in average price which is very cheap compared to America and the quality/smell is horrible, but this is what we can get here unfortunately and still does it's job, gets me high/medicated whatever you wanna call. I would pay good money for a chronic/skunk, but it's very hard to find top shelf weed in Brazil, only a few growers, but not where I live.

Well, sorry for misleading this topic, but since this is my 1st post I was just introducing myself. I've become a vaporizer user in 2013 after a good friend gave me a Vapir NO2 as a gift and I liked it so much that I've decided to quit smoking weed. After a while getting used to vaping and its amazing benefits I ordered other vaporizers and started my own collection of these amazing devices. I currently own a Vapir NO2, Pax, Pax 2, Plenty by Storz and Bickles and Davinci Ascent.

I would like to let you know about my impressions using the Pax 2. I really loved the design, so small, it really feels miles aways better than the original, more sturdy and sleeker. I love the new flush mouthpiece and how it doesn't look like a mouthpiece, very stealthy. The battery life is a great improvement over the original and it really lasts longer, which is awesome, plus the USB interface, what an improvemnet.

I almost bought the Crafty based on its amazing reviews and also the VapeCritic giving it the highest grade ever for a portable and I always check his blog for vaporizers tips. I also love my Plenty Vaporizer so I know the Crafty would give me densy vapor clouds, I know what to expect from Storz and Bickles quality standards, but the low battery life was a bummer for me and the Mighty wasn't exactly portable, to big to carry in my pocket, so I decided to get the Pax 2 cause it's perfect to take it out to parties, festivals, and it's design resembles high quality electronics like Apple which I love, doesn't resemble a gadget to vape weed/tobacoo, so that sold me out. I am still considering if I am going to sell my original Pax since I now own a Pax 2, but it's been my favorite Vape on the go so far, I really enjoyed the Pax, but having a Pax 2, I'm not sure if I still want to use my original Pax. At least I won't have to clean it as often as before, since I'll be using the Pax 2 way more which doesn't require as much maintenance.

I would like to share with you guys some customizations that I've done for my Pax 2 to improve it's vapor production. I felt it lacked a bit in that department compared to my original Pax, I was getting very little vapor even at higher temperature settings with a firmly packed oven/ fine grind weed. I have a very good Santa Cruz grinder from California and I usually grind my shitty weed very fine and I pack it tight in my Pax 2 oven, so I am very familiar with the technique to improve vapor production/quality since I've been using the original Pax for over 2 years.

Well, since I also own a Plenty Vaporizer, I had some extra liquid pads that I wasn't using. I do always use my Plenty with a liquid pad placed in the oven to help firmly attach my weed, cause if you don't the vapor is very limited and your material won't be vaped consistently. I know most of you that are familar with Volcano, Plenty, Crafty, Mighty are aware how important those liquid pads are.

SO, I decided to get one of those liquid pads and using some knife and scissors I was able to cut it in a shape that perfecty fits the Pax 2 oven. It wasn't an easy job to cut a liquid pad, cause they made of metal, steel, not sure the specific material, but it's a tough one to cut it. I know liquid pads are perfectly safe to use while vaping, otherwise Storz and Bickles who invented the mighty Volcano woudn't make them for all it's vaporizers units.

The results have been outstanding so far and I am getting HUGE vapour clouds with my Pax 2, the difference is night and day, I can have 0.1, 0.2g, whatever quantity of weed in my oven and the results are always the same, and I can get maybe 20-30 draws with densy vapor clouds at medium temperature, 2 petals.
Those liquid pads are amazing and they work very well for any vaporizer if you manage to customize them to fit your vaporizer's oven, as there are so many different ones. I haven't used the New Vape's Pax Pusher/sandwich or it's vented oven lid, but I am interested in trying that out, but ATM they are not shipping to Brazil. The Pax 2 is also not shipping internationally, but my father was in Miami and brought one for me last month, and by that time I wasn't aware of New Vape's acessories, otherwise I would have ordered it.

Anyway, I'm not sure if these Pax pushers are more efficient than a liquid pad, cause it's a sealed metal plate unlike the design of a liquid pad that lets your material breath, not sure If I put this right, LOL???? But I need to try these Pax Titanium Pushers one day to be able to make a comparision.

I had the idea of customizing liquid Pads since I bought the Ascent Vaporizer last year and was really disappointed with its vapor production despite the great flavour and glass stem/longer battery features. I also had a terrible time cleaning my Ascent Vape cause AVB would get all over the glass stem screen holes, nasty.
After I started using a customized liquid Pad the Ascent became 200% more efficient in vapor production and also no more AVB inside the glass stem since the liquid pad gets in the way and prevents that. It was almost impossible to get AVB out of those glass stem due to it's flaw design IMHO.

I must say the results I'm getting with the Pax 2 are far better compared to the Ascent using the liquid pad, but both vaporizers have become way more efficient and I can choose how much weed I want to vape, save more, and still get huge densy clouds, don't need to fullfill the oven like before. Got love these liquid pads and you can buy extra ones online and try it yourself, just looks for spare parts for Volcano, Plenty or Crafty/Mighty.

It was on your profile page. I was a little confused where you live. you posted a video from a guy sitting in a right steering car using a pax 2 so I first assumed it was you and you are a British guy.
But you were talking about USD and an authorized reseller for warranty so I decided to guess out myself that you and your local shop aren't British but located in U.S.

I just tried the pipe screen in the oven as some of you have mentioned and it worked really nicely. I didn't have to open the oven and stir or tamp down. I loaded a small load, I would say .01 and I got some nice thick vapor. I liked this method so much I just left the screen in my oven for when I have to vape again. I liked the fact that it isn't hot when I have to take it out to clean the bowl. This is definitely my go to method with smaller loads And maybe even full loads as when you start vaping it becomes a bit loose and causes the vapor to lose density.

I tell you what, the Pax 2, and I would have to say vamping in general, has really raised my tolerance. I'm coming from combustion, switched when I got the Pax 2.

It is so much more pleasant than smoking, so I end up puffing down more at a time than I did when smoking.

At first that resulted in major medication, but now tolerance has kicked in. I'll have to take a little time off.

But yeah, enjoying the Pax 2 flavor production.

The EASIEST thing to do is get ANOTHER VAPE! don't be a quitter! I got the pax2 because I was experiencing plateau effect with the mighty/crafty now I enjoy all my vapes more because they each have a purpose...i will be expanding my flame based vape collection soon for this same reason.

Most definitely. How's the effect of the 2 compared to the original? More convect-ony...if that's a word?

To me the effect seems so similar that difference is difficult to discern.

I personally think that the p2 is much better than the original pax, but when I had the first pax, I still smoked alot, now I barley do...so that may contribute to strong feelings about the new one

I can't wait to order a pax WPA from @Ratchett...bbut I'm using my old one in the meantime...

I personally think the Pax2 is pretty heavy hitting now that I have a mighty and can compare them each. The Mighty is awesome but the pax2 gets me medicated just as well. I really thought the mighty was going to knock my socks off but it didn't, it's just another great vaporizer.

Took both my omicron and pax 2 to with me on a cabin trip with friends in PA. I encouraged my friends to try both, and although the omicron was the clear flavor winner the Pax 2 was also thoroughly enjoyed. One of my friends brought his MFLB and didn't touch it the entire weekend out of preference for the consistency and simplicity of the Pax 2.

Being far removed from my couch and my plethora of tools and other gadgets, I toyed with different oven fills without any additional screens; while I can't deny the utility and benefit of making a screen sandwich I really don't want there to be superfluous pieces to this vape when I'm out and about. As others have mentioned, I wanted to reiterate how helpful it is to pack down the oven load once the vapor thins out. Flavor degrades for sure but even an initially full oven has room to compact more continue to vape well after some tamping action. I'm not talking vapor production so much as effect, I couldn't care less about clouds and all that

I feel the mighty extracts to a better uniformed abv. I need to stir my pax2 or add a screen. Would smash my pax 2 with a large guage sledgehammer before parting with mighty but my p2 does get me ripped when proper technique is used.

Yeah the avb looks uniformed but doesn't get as dark as the mighty, I guess I was just expecting the mighty to turn the avb darker than it does since it has such a powerful heater. My Pax needs no stirring as long as I use a screen to hold it down. Maybe I need to experiment more with the Mighty, I haven't used it through a battery cycle yet. I love the Pax2 more now that I can compare it to the Mighty though. It really is an awesome technological vaping device.
