Cheap High Quality Bubbler

I'll do you one better - I reckon those dabuccinos are from Steven.

The dome there exactly matches the domes I got with my 2 dabuccinos:

So unless other sellers are also including these domes too, I'd say they're steven dabuccinos :)

which exactly matches the dome i got from the seller "songshu" (which I'm assuming is a branch of Stevens sellers or whatever)

heres mine

Here's a couple of quick water test Gifs :)

Normal speed, "normal" water level:
4fe4c1411f06db5f932f3c502a7a9a97.gif

The water level here is completely filling the lower matrix chamber, while keeping the dry chamber empty.

Seems to be perfect for getting full function with very little drag.

you wouldn't get the full pillar action with much less water, but it would definitely still function well if you wanted to drop the water level a little bit lower.

Slo-mo, higher water level:
8032522435927163ab110ab28ec1feab.gif

This was with maybe 1cm of water in the dry chamber.
With this much water you get more bubbling happening out of the top of the pillars.
It adds a bit of drag as there more water to move around, but it's still pretty low drag - less drag than the mini pillar.

First impressions after a water test is that I'm goddamn impressed :D
The whole piece has a nice weight to it, feels similar to the FC-187 construction wise.
No imperfections have jumped out at me, I have gone weeks without noticing little alignment issues in other pieces in the past, but this one looks quite nice :)
I really like the size of it, I've been wanting a nice larger piece for a while now.

Can't wait to give it a test run with the lsv and sub :D

@MGG - you've def gotta try this one man :)

Awesome! Looks like it came out great!

awesome gifs @Frederick McGuire... Just wondering if you think the matrix pillar would work well with the Solo?

The smaller bubblers are great but looking for something with more volume for bigger hits. Got that with a 12" bong no doubt, massive hits but it was double honeycomb perc and was very chuggy and a hard draw

It works better than I was expecting it to :brow:

I tried my solo with the FC-186 (Stevens stereo matrix just in case I got the model numbers mixed up) and I felt the solo just had too much restriction for it to be an enjoyable pairing...

This combo was much nicer, the pillar still seemed to function well even with the restriction of the solo.

The drag from the solo was definitely noticable, but that's just part of the solos design...

I have disagreed with other members about how the solo pairs with other glass pieces in the past (eg toro microverter - I thought they paired nicely, another member hated the combo ), so it may just really be a preference thing, but im happy with how well they paired.
(Side note, IME the perfect mate for the solo is the old school VXL HydraCirc Hydratube - it's how I use my solo 90% of the time now :D)

strain: cluster bomb,
Solo set to [4]
First hit
Water level: Maybe 1/2cm water in dry chamber.
Pvhes 18mm gong stem.

Same stem
After 3 hits at [4] I bumped it up to [7]
Same water level as before.

After that hit I poured out a bit of water to get it back to the "normal" water level.

Got another 2-3 hits out of it.

It definitely smoothed out the vapor a fair bit, as I didn't cough anywhere near as much as I normally would finishing a stem at [7].

Thanks man, i'm excited now haha. Just added the matrix pillar to my favourites.

That and the UFO are my next buys from steven :D

Like u said its a preference thing, but shouldn't be an issue as I don't find the Solo restriction as bad as some others do anyway.

look what else i found on amazon

Trying to sell this exact Dabbucino i bought for 24$ on Dhgate, for 73$ on amazon :clap:

I have no reason to doubt this is wholesaled from dhgate

which exactly matches the dome i got from the seller "songshu" (which I'm assuming is a branch of Stevens sellers or whatever)

There should be a fakewatchbusta style twitter account for this.

yeah I admit a part of me is kind of regretting swapping my order although the torus clone actually does work really well with the sublimator, it has the perfect level of draw resistance. The matrix to peyote looks pretty massive/epic i must say :p

What is the link?
The FC 186 works with my Herb Iron or NANO!
For the SOLO I like a smaller bubbler like the D020!

Well I wanted the UFO but I found a $10 off any item of $50 or more. So I went with the mini pillar for $42 and some change! UFO on the back burner til I decide the other $60 item/s to join it with my $15 off $100 coupon. Savvy move DHGate already has rock bottom prices then they tease us more with coupons! Happy happy joy joy!

Thanks Nick. Is it just me or are his pieces getting more expensive? Maybe its because Im comparing the fc1000 to the fc711

Yea, there is absolutely NO reason that a peyote pillar should cost over $300 if it can be made so well for $70. Double that, and add some more quality control, and it would still be worth it, but over $300, let alone $700-1200 is absolute insanity.

I've got a D020 which I use with my Nano and Lotus. Looking to add a new piece of glass from dhgate, but a lot of the ones I like have those 14mm male joints?

Do they come with an adapter or something? As I can't seem to find a double ended female joint.

Hey cheap bubbler pals, has anyone posted a review of the 18mm cake bubbler with the small matrix perc?
Also does anyone have the link to that bubbler?
