just got a crafty so my other vape, esv, isn't getting as much attention. How do I take care of the battery if it doesn't get used as much? Thought I would just top off the battery every week or so..

I didn't use a fully charged vape for about two months. It has a L-ion battery. I went to use it and I was completely dead. I thought these batteries held a charge better. Is it normal to fully discharge over time like this?

The discharge rate is about 5% a month. What you are describing is NOT normal. Was it exposed to higher than normal temperatures?

Also, storing a Li-Ion battery fully charged can have a pretty dramatic affect on battery performance and longevity. See the following table on capacity loss at various temps and at storing at 40% versus 100%:

Here's a great read on Li-Ions : http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/how_to_prolong_lithium_based_batteries

I suppose another explanation is that it's just a cheap ass battery from the start! Better go drain the full charge a little right now!
