Does your cotton have a laundry room taste to it when you vape through it, or vape the reclaim off of it? If not, which cotton do you use?

I use degummed hemp fiber and I don't recall much of a taste to it.

Just received a package from Stephen yesterday with my FC-187 v2 in it! Hits pretty nice... only one flaw in the body I can see. Need to get some more time in with it, but so far I like. Stephen did an exceptional job on the packaging!

Got some good customer service from Steven. Had two issues with my FC-UFO (Scratch/crack inside the can, and a wobbly base). Took pictures and sent to Steven to complain.

I just read through this entire thread! I'm a cancer patient so I have a lot of time on my hands haha.

Just received my D020-D and VaporBlunt Pinnacle Water Tool from Sunshine Store, arrived in perfect condition, took 13 calendar days to get to South Florida.

The D020-D provides a nice easy draw, which I was looking for, compared to my bong. My bong provides a bigger hit!

The Pinnacle Water Tool seems like a gimmick to me, but I figured at $15 I would get it, and at worst keep it on my @Pipes accessory stand.

Sunshine Store was easy to communicate with.

Have you considered Sunshinestores D020 or D020-D (I prefer the latter, it's bigger)? Or Yingmin's GB-187 (-S for the sidecar version)? Great all-rounders, fairly consistent quality due to their straightforward design, perfect size and function with the Arizer portables. Very popular on here as you may have noticed and it seems no glass collection is complete without at least one of them. :)

I figured the matrix perc would rob me of too much flavour. I'm really into low temp flavour hits these days. Yes at first I was going to jump all over D020-D but then I started to browse around lol. Also thinking of waiting for the new version of FC UFO. I kinda like the idea of a male joint tho as sometimes it's a little hard to pull the solo gong out of a female joint. I firgured the female turbo solo gong would be easier.

Yes f*ck all these horrible diseases. I was diagnosed with advanced stage 4b lymphoma a year and a half ago. Been through the strongest chemotherapy treatments allowed, stem cell transplant, radiation, and surgery. But this damn cancer just won't die. I'm about to try 2 months of daily CBD oil.

*shrug* Plenty of flavour with the D020-D for me :) Just use a minimal water level. Recently vaping organic Blueberry (indica) -- tastes heavenly.

That said, I'm also looking at the UFO next for my Solo :D ... holding off for v2 like yourself.

And if you want to really make clearing easy, just get a cloud buddy or claisen adapter + stopper. Won't even need to lift the Solo then.

Here's a couple of quick water test Gifs :)

Normal speed, "normal" water level:

The water level here is completely filling the lower matrix chamber, while keeping the dry chamber empty.

Seems to be perfect for getting full function with very little drag.

you wouldn't get the full pillar action with much less water, but it would definitely still function well if you wanted to drop the water level a little bit lower.

Slo-mo, higher water level:

This was with maybe 1cm of water in the dry chamber.
With this much water you get more bubbling happening out of the top of the pillars.
It adds a bit of drag as there more water to move around, but it's still pretty low drag - less drag than the mini pillar.

First impressions after a water test is that I'm goddamn impressed :D
The whole piece has a nice weight to it, feels similar to the FC-187 construction wise.
No imperfections have jumped out at me, I have gone weeks without noticing little alignment issues in other pieces in the past, but this one looks quite nice :)
I really like the size of it, I've been wanting a nice larger piece for a while now.

Can't wait to give it a test run with the lsv and sub :D

@MGG - you've def gotta try this one man :)

I'm hitting the UFO right now using stock mouthpiece with 4 drops of cranberry extract. Doesn't really get any better than that. Switch between whip hits and mouth piece hits. There is nothing wrong with the v1.

Sometimes lounging with the whip is the way to go!


A warning to dhgate shoppers, don't search knifes if your into knifes. It will cost you more money. There are all sorts of designs for openimng up dhgate boxes.

The dome there exactly matches the domes I got with my 2 dabuccinos:

awesome gifs @Frederick McGuire... Just wondering if you think the matrix pillar would work well with the Solo?

The smaller bubblers are great but looking for something with more volume for bigger hits. Got that with a 12" bong no doubt, massive hits but it was double honeycomb perc and was very chuggy and a hard draw
