Vanilla

I have a couple of dried vanilla fruits (beans, pods; whatever you call them) and I'm wondering if they'd be any good to use in a vaporizer - or if there's any reason not to. I've searched around a bit and all I could find was discussion about vanilla extracts, but I'm more interested in vaping the dry material.

So, anyone here tried vaporizing it before? I'm thinking I'd crush them up a bit and mix with some herb. Any thoughts?

Never thought about vaporizing them but they would be delicious in a cannabis edible! I love using vanilla pods instead of vanilla extract for recipes that require it, it's so good!
