I have been doing the same thing for a long time. Below are some detailed posts that I did showing how effective this can be. The first few hits from a reclaim hemp fiber are the strongest and most potent hits I have ever had off of any vaporizer. The THC condensates onto the cotton so evenly that you can really white wall your glass when you hit it because when you vape it you have a large surface area of oil/honey/reclaim that is getting hit.

Like @GSH mine is excellent quality, perc fires evenly etc. I have only 1 bubble (on the very bottom of the egg) and a perc that curves slightly to the right but otherwise it's flawless and really impressed the people I used it with. The draw is much smoother than my more expensive D-Cycler K/O that's also been popular.

I just bought one, do you think it will support a gong and solo?

Probably? Maybe?

Have you seen a fab egg in person? I hadn't until this arrived and the "downstem" is basically a freestanding glass rod inside the "egg" with a support connection by the joint. It's not weak but it's not the most structurally sound design.

EDIT: I just looked up the weight of a Solo and since it tips the scales at just over half a LB you should be fine.

I have the 9" CCG which should be about the same dimensions and it supported it fine and wasn't too tippy either. It's still easier to knock over than larger pieces though.

Are fab eggs and their clones any good with the solo anyway though? I wouldn't mind one, would be cool, but isn't the solo restriction too much to function well?

I vape with a herb iron only and wanted to ask if the FC-186 is a good peace to vape with, i was also was looking into the fc-cake which also looks every good. they both look they stack very well.

As a filter cotton is not bad at all.
As part of a reclaim recovery process with (insert solvent of your choice) it can be really great.
As a delivery medium I haven’t found a way to do that with cotton, that I like.

If only he would put slits in the perc or do something similiar to a matrix grid perc rather than those holes, I can tell after using his other torus that even though the perc is smaller it still sounds chuggy.

It needs the little hole slits that the CCG d-cycler and the FC-mini both have in the perc. If it had like 10 of those spread out evenly around the perc.. It would function much better I bet. Those holes dont fire as well once you are inhaling a substance through it..

I thought the same thing over and over. The d-cycler functions well, why hasn't ccg made and incycler by just funking around with the design? just raise the lower bubbler chamber to connect with the funnel all the way, and add holes instead of the water uptake, and a bubbler style neck.

Honestly if it didn't have a place to put a dabber I probably wouldn't be interested, but it also looks pretty dope. Looks like the bubbles only come out of the gridded mouth (Lets be real: it looks nothing like Bender) so obviously function is not the main point. Thoughts? (:

I had an issue with my FC-UFO - unflat base (very wobbly), and there's a nasty scratch on the inside. I didn't complain about the FC-187, but felt necessary to complain about the UFO (the base was so wonky I didn't feel comfortable hitting it without keeping a hand on my nano the whole time!

Steven did respond promptly to my email, asking for pictures. Going to get some good ones tonight and send them over. Hopefully I can get a version 2.0 and report back!

Thanks for the report. After getting the crappy FC187 V1 I'm sitting back to see how things go with any new ones. Thanks to you and all for checking them out! Not like I really need another bubb (especially with a dewar joint and other similarities to those I have), but intrigued by the new perc and think the tubing option could come in handy while nano-ing with noobs or in a group setting.

Lyin? Doubtful. That would be assuming that USPS has any idea of what is really going on in the first place. IME that is seldom the case until it lands on your doorstep - and by that point you know just as well yourself. As bad as this can be with domestic shipments, it seems that much worse with international.

Oh, it has a carb that's tough to see in the pic. Makes for great use in my d020-d right now, but I certainly am not a huge fan of having to hold several things at once when trying to get a hit.
