Yeah starting off at low temperatures is better if you're having harshness problems, I haven't used a mighty but in my experience with other vapes I start off at low temps and when they stop producing vapor I bump it up and it's much less harsh that way. You should try it, there shouldn't be a reason why you couldn't vape at higher temperatures since there are desired effects at higher temperatures.

I think you would still be amazed at just how long you can stay at 350F, and still get clouds. This is no ordinary vape. I've stayed at 350F for an entire load with nothing left at 410. It just takes patience, and the right herb.

Maybe that's why everybodydoesit has such low prices? They're all refurbished units?
I wouldn't put it past them. They tried to scam me once, only when I provided irrefutable proof did they make things right -- without even an apology which led me to believe it wasn't just a bad apple. Overseas makes it even worse, I definitely won't be ordering from them again; check out their online rep.

In search of the best terps and smoothest vapor
I have 3 favorite ways to enjoy flower in the Mighty.

For a slow flavorful session I start at 330F and increase temp between hits until I reach 360 and the load is spent.

When I'm in a faster mood or sharing with friends, I stay at 360. If I'm with folks who are big joint smokers, we sometimes go to the higher temps.

When using @Ratchett SonG and water, I usually use 380.

For me, these temps are the best mix of performance and flavor.

My mighty got here today and YES this thing is an absolute animal!!! By far the best portable I've ever used. Huge tasty clouds on demand

Cool! And it only gets better.

I'm going to call your bluff on that, the mighty fits all of my jean pockets quite well and I've discreetly used it in public drawing little attention...While not small it's definetly portable

I gotta agree here. I carry it in a pocket quite a bit. It's a bit top heavy for a shirt pocket, I'm afraid it would fall out, but jean pockets work great for me as well.

For my car I picked up a cheapo, $6 pistol case from dunhams. It's plastic with egg crate foam inside with enough room for herb & tools. It also looks right at home in a tool box.

I will do, and if everything goes well i'll let you know of the MIGHTY deal that I got. ;)
Please do, I love DEALS...the mighty is the last vape I paid full price for (fingers crossed) all these other ones ranged from free up to $100

The Pelican looks perfect for the Mighty, I presume you cut the foam yourself? How deep is it? any chance of it holding the filling aid and or grinder instead of doob tubes?

Sorry for all the questions I like to be well informed before spending my precious ££ :D

I'm not affiliated with any of links below, this is just where I got mine and figured I'd point some people in the right direction of where to buy:

Pelican 1040 mico case:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pelican-104...826?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35e5f21362

Pelican 1040 pick-n-pluck foam:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pelican-104...685?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35cdb9b1f5

Doob tubes:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Pack-Colo...221?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item46358c7925

So I've now had the Mighty vaporizer for a couple weeks and here's an update with random thoughts:

-After running at least 15 bowls through it and doing an iso cleaning, there is most definitely a plastic taste. My Pax 2 tastes better. Sorry.

-the 1 minute shut-off thing is awesome. A good draw will absolutely reset it and when using this for 3-4 person sessions... it never once shut off during rotation. And when it does shut off during a solo session because I'm taking longer than 1 minute to take another draw, it cools down very slowly, so it instantly heats up again when you press the power button.

-Pax 2 is superior for solo sessions if you're not going to blaze through in an entire oven in one sitting. Reason being is that the Mighty takes upwards of 15 minutes to get back down to room temperature, Pax 2 takes a couple minutes. So basically what I witnessed first hand was the Mighty bowls would continue to bake and become even more brown over the course of its 15 minute cool down.

-RYOT smell-safe bags are TOTALLY NOT SMELL-PROOF. I had the Mighty and grounded herbs inside the Ryot bag, sitting inside the center console in my car. My friend (who doesn't smoke marijuana) got in the car and was like "Wow, it smells like pot." Fuck that bag, I ended up getting a Pelican 1040 case. Those plastic cases with the rubber gasket and mason jar like closing device are amazingly smell-proof. I know this from experience because this is the amazingly smell-proof case I've had for the Pax 1 and Pax 2 over the years... it freaking rocks:

Just an update all... I've put about 20 bowls through this Mighty and 2 ISO cleanings, and I'm happy to report that the plastic "factory" taste is GONE. Love this Vape.

Holy crap. I mean... damn.

This thing rocks!

I just took my ever first 4-5 hits on this brand new Mighty. I'm kicking myself now for not buying this thing when I first started vaping several months ago. I never knew vaping could be this pleasant. I didn't know just how bad my previous vape was. I went from this:

... To this:

Mighty-90.png

... and WOW what an upgrade. This vapor isn't even hot at all. I don't cough with this thing, and my throat doesn't feel parched at all. I used to always take gulps of water between hits because of the throat irritation even at low-moderate vape temperatures. Now I don't feel the need to. And I can actually taste the herb! I don't feel like I ever really "tasted" the herb before, maybe because the air was hotter?

Anyway the vapor is so cool, smooth and flavorful to where I finally understand what reviewers have been going on about wrt "tasting the herb" and all that. If this thing holds up, gotta say I'm one happy camper and honestly feel no urge to upgrade for the foreseeable future.

Might not end up sucking **** in a back ally for VAS after all.

.... oh boy this is hitting me really hard. Haven't felt that in a while. This thing is apparently a LOT more efficient than my previous vape. OK I gotta lie down - bye.

Nice man, didn't recognize you since you changed your avatar pic.

You'll love the mighty, trust me...but I just got a solo today and didn't touch the mighty at all...I feel in love with that shit, I also really like the pax2 and now understand why it's essential to have a vape arsenal

Best reason I've ever heard to own a mighty...however if it was a requirement I'm afraid I would still be rolling swisher sweets and Garcia Vegas ...I'm not sucking ANY ****

I also fell foul of this, after 'confirming' they stock the latest versions I received a 3000 serial number and are yet to reply to my request opened on Thursday. Needless to say I wont be buying ANYTHING from them again. In the UK their price is on par with most other websites and I'd never had any problems with orders before ( Of course it's the most expensive order I've ever made that I get messed around on )
Least I know S&B have my back if anything does go wrong.

John, thanks for the link but being in the UK I thought it best to order locally. My pelican should be here on Tuesday.... might have to buy some stickers to liven it up :brow: (In the absence of any money to treat my VAS I think accessories will have to do!)

Ok some people can pocket them, thing is i need a filling tool, brush and poker( i cant go out with one bowl full only) so that means a small case, and no pockets .I use mine for cordless home use, either way enjoy Mon.

We all do what works for us...the mighty makes a better portable than the crafty on battery life alone to me, and I don't have pocket real estate for filling tools either so I use this:
24edqpz.jpg

It cost less than $5,its stealthy, smell proof and it hold more than the filling tool when tamped..I use it for all the vapes while out now...plus the blow dart is the perfect poker and what not

EDIT...I wanted to address something you said earlier in this page as well
I think i noticed that my battery meter is going up when its plugged into ac and in use. Can anyone test this.
It does charge at the same time it is plugged in and being used EXCEPT when the heater is climbing...at least that's what I noticed with my unit

Smell my cheese
My charger is playing up, like an old Nokia charger I have to have the wire in a certain position or it doesn't work... time to send it back methinks and get the pass through charging and battery meter sorted as well. I am having panic attacks thinking of being without it though. Best £280 I ever spent.

Thx for testing that, cuz earlier in this thread, on more than one occasion people have said that discharging and charging L Ion batterys is not an ideal situation.
If these steps help us prolong our battery's, the money spent will balance out with our enjoyment over time.

There is no wrong way to load and use the Mighty. Whatever works for you is the right way. For me, using the Mighty on-the-go, I find it easy to just use pre-selected nuggets: no spillage, quick and easy change-out. The Mighty toasts the nuggets nicely.
