I would just send it in then, if you do call first though

Sounds like a plan, as long as they answer their phone better than they do emails. That they ignor emails speaks poorly for 7th floor. I'd be tempted to take it apart myself to try and match up a switch. I think it's just a on/off + rheostat.

I spoke to them today. They are short help so getting them on the phone is the best option. If you are looking for a sales job then hit them up!

Cool, but being short on help is not good planning, or a good way to run a business. Me hopes they get their act together.

I can not only apologize for any issues experienced with customer service, but assure you that i am personally striving to make required improvements.
Customers are everything. End of.

If anyone has issues getting in contact, feel free to message me and i will assist any way i can!

I'll see about getting a 7th floor email up here to allow for some better communication between the forums and the staff and try eliminate communication errors.

I did intend to be on here almost a year ago, but an error in account approval and then the final portion of my degree postponed that until now.

I am an engineer, but i will work to help anywhere i can!

Thanks for the greeting

Welcome @Herb-nerd !!
I'm surprised we didn't have a 7th floor rep here already. Hope you stick around!

This morning I'm doing a wand of ALIEN HALLUCINATION after A wand of VOODOO!

@Herb-nerd as an engineer do you use the standard heater cover or one of the other styles most? Just curious!

Both!

I use the spherical for a medium sized bowl with the spherical wand, or the female wand for larger bowls.

I use the 19mm ground glass for small bowls using a basket screen fitted to the end, that way it hits more like the log style vapes with similar efficacy for small loads.

Yes, welcome @Herb-nerd ! I'm very interested in how this compares to the 7th Floor's new Shorty wand?
Very similar, though the ground glass with the basket delivers the heat to the entire surface of the load in a more uniform manner than the smaller hole of the standard which i personally prefer.

Though it isn't so simple reducing the size of the 19mm gg wand as the fitting is a standard.
It's in the pipeline however

Welcome to the FC @Herb-nerd !!!!

I've been thinking that a 10mm or 14mm GG wand/HC would be a pretty cool idea.

Any other ideas you can share with the community? Any chance that 7th floor could make SSV GonGs?
Theres lots of ideas going around, ill say that for sure!

I can post some tips on how i use my gear but i am sure it will be re-hashing what others have likely suggested.

Also, what do you mean by SSV GonGs?

A SSV standard wand + GG joint. Skip the tubing.
There is a spherical transfer wand that allows you to hit straight from the unit without the tube, though it is spherical bowl to LSV mouthpiece. Though if you would like one made, that wouldn't be an issue and would be fairly easy.

I imagine you would want to have it custom made to the dimensions of the piece you intend to use or are you intending to hold the piece while you hit it?

This is assuming i comprehend your articulation

I've been using a enano stem for small loads, works great. The seal on a GG heater cover is from some silicone tubing on the nano stem instead of ground glass.

What basket screen are you using? I've got the GG wand but I'm using flat screens.

Awesome. I have some already but thought it would be nice to have a bigger opening one like the SSV standard wand.

How about a custom HC? Could I get a Heater Cover made that is a male SGG like the end of the LSV HC? But one just like the SSV's HC with a 90 degree bend, so it would mate to the LSV's WPA?

Thanks for taking the time to discuss, I love bouncing ideas off an engineer.

I use the basket screens made by Arizer maybe called the EQ elbow screen. im not sure.

We will make ANY configuration you desire. Higher Elevations just upgraded to a new glass studio. I'm certain they can accommodate your requests ;-) Just let them know and they will sort you out.
