@Mandala1111 the plastic body of the Vapolution 2 hardly even gets warm, never hot enough to worry about it off gassing at all. Any and All plastic on it is a good distance from the heater, I take it that's why they kept it on the larger end of the size scale when they switched from the original to the vapo 2.

This is one of those vaporizers that was designed and is sold by someone who actually uses it too, so they are making it as Clean/healthy as they can.

I think you'll find it's an amazing value for the price if you pick one up.

Thanks Rude Boy,I am about to order one as it is one of the best options it seems. There are not many choices when it comes to a pure glass path. There are some that say their's is a glass vapor pathway but may still have metal or ceramic in the mix as well and especially for the price.Just got an email from Dan at Vaporfection about the miVape portable and have been told it has a quartz glass path with only 1 silicone seal in the whole unit, sounds great for a portable, may get one when they come out as well as the vapo 2.0.Look forward to trying the vapolution.

I wouldn't worry about ceramic though... Metal on the other hand, sometimes I can taste it... and there is more controversy about them (cf Chromium in stainless steel, lead in brass, aluminium controversy, nickel allergies etc...)

@ KeroZen,I agree totally about the possible problems from different metals, also a lot of people aren't aware of the lead content in brass.I Ordered a vapo 2.0 yesterday, arrived today, very happy.Have just tried it in whip mode and with the AIWB.Love the all glass.I am really enjoying the cool vapor with the AIWB,I am quite sensitive to hot vapor and find it too irritating in the chest and throat but this is fantastic, the whip mode is a little cooler but think I will be sticking with the all glass. One thing though is you have to keep an eye on little bits herb as the herb gets cooked and dries out,I have had to tip a few little flaky bits out that have dropped onto the top of the heater. Also as it has already been mentioned by many on here,it is wise to take the wand out while having a break,it starts to cook a lot more quickly,I haven't burnt any yet but it pays to be findful.Starting off at 1.00 with moist herb and then slowly getting to 11.00 o'clock. The taste is just pur herb and uses very little herb, nice. The body only gets a bit warm which is a nice hand warmer.Very happy chappy here so far. Thanks for all the great info on here, cheers

So glad you made the purchase, you won't regret it.

There's definitely a slight learning curve to this vape but what I did for the issue of bud falling into the heater was hold the vapo sideways when using the aiwb. Was able to see the vapor path better also.

cheers!

you guys are using unground bud, right? I've never had bits problems. But I have left it in there too long and wasted a load plenty of times!

I am not grinding, just using little chunks.I am rolling a little pellet in my fingers first now though and haven't had any bits falling down. The first couple of times as the herb dried out more from vaping a couple of little loose bits off the bud just fell in from not packing firmly enough. You surely do have to be mindful to not leave the glass stem in for too long as it could tend to over cook the herb, there is a lot of radiant heat on the glass stem. It's ok for a few minutes during use as the air flow through the herb from inhaling the vapor seems to keep things a bit cooler and helps distribute the heat better. Also have to agree with other posts that the vapo is very efficient with the herb usage. Also very efficient on power.I'm on solar power and it uses just .4 of an amp on a 24 volt system, can't complain about that.

One of my old track kids brought me some fairly resinous , black market, "skywalker" buds that were clogging up all of his grinders.
Rolled a pellet between my fingers , popped it in the vap 2, and we were very pleased.
Sticky weed is no problem for this vape.

How's the draw resistance on the Vapo? I'm considering an all glass vape, but I'm not a big fan of a lot of draw resistance.

Depends completely on how tight the pellet you roll is. I got to where I was loading uncompressed herbs pulled off in a long thin shape that had really good air flow.

Thanks! That's good to know.

I have many vaporisers however I use the Vapolution 2.0 more than others?

Why?

Because flavor is important!
I completely agree. That is one of the reasons we vape isn't it?

How often does herb fall out of the bowl into the heater, if at all?
If you don't pack the load properly, or use pieces that are too small then some bits could succumb to gravity and end up in the bottom of the chamber. With proper loading technique however, this shouldn't be a problem.

for me it's a once in a while and rare occurrence but I usually remove the stem after every couple of hits and I can easily see if anything fell out of the bowl, if it did I just turn over the vap 2 and dump it out and shove it back into to bowl.

It won't do any real damage if you don't catch it right away that I can see other then staining the bottom of the heater port/chamber a little which you can clean with a long cotton swab and a little ISO.
