I have no answers for you, but I just came here to say that if you do happen to figure out a way of making cannabis-based gummy bears, then:

Super-Potent Cannabis Gummy Treats

A super-easy recipe to make when you can’t vape and need your edibles readily.

Cannabis Gummy Bears & Treats

  • YIELD: Approx 1/2 cup (20-30 Servings)
  • PREP: 5 mins
  • COOK: 5 mins
  • READY IN: 10 mins
An extremely easy recipe that incorporates BHO, or other cannabis concentrates into a very portable, tasty potent cannabis gummy treat.

INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Prep candy molds by spraying with non-stick spray. Combine flavored and unflavored gelatin and cold water in a small saucepan. Stir until well mixed. Place over medium heat and stir constantly until mixture becomes liquid. Mixture should be around 180º F and no higher!

  2. Add orange oil (optional), and stir in 6 grams of hash oil (or however much you have on hand) and mix thoroughly. You can see the dark bits of oil in the mixture. Stir in 1 tsp of vegetable glycerin to help the oil and gelatin mixture blend. Use up to 3 tsp glycerin to help keep things blended. There's enough glycerin when you see no separation of oil and Jell-o when standing for approx 1-2 minutes.

  3. Use turkey baster to draw up liquid for easy placement in candy molds.

  4. Place molds in fridge to cool for approx 20 minutes. Remove from molds and dust lightly with cornstarch and/or citric acid powder (for tartness) to keep them from sticking to each other.

  5. Finished candy from another batch- notice how the oil just sits in there, ready to be eaten :) (This was before I discovered the vegetable glycerin!) According to my calculations, these candies have approximately 36mg hash oil per 1 gram of candy weight. Definitely not for the beginner!!! Another note- these had a LOT of hash oil in them and tasted very medicine-like. I would lower the amount of oil and aim for 100 mg hash oil per piece next time.

  6. To make last longer than a couple weeks: store in refrigerator! These will get moldy pretty quickly being that they're pretty much just gelatin and sugar.

Awesome find!! I am eager to try this, gummies are some of my favorite candies and I tried some medigummies from a caregiver here and they did jack shit for me. A few discussions later I find out that they apparently coat the gummies with a THC-infused oil, which I feel is a terrible idea.

Very possible, actually. I've had 3 different brands of gummy bear edibles from dispensaries here in California. I wonder how using coconut oil infused with hash oil work in the recipe Carol posted above. That's what I'd do instead of straight into it, provided the coconut oil mixes thoroughly.

I know Im reviving an old thread here, but I figure its better than making a new one. I'm on a quest to make the best medible gummies I can. I am thinking of using a vegetable glycerin tincture made with QWET hash (using all my ABV, as well as rosin chips and fresh flower decarbed), and adding that to the gummie. Does anybody have any experience with this? Ideal goal is to make small gummies dosed at about 50mg active thc, so I figure I'll have to use at the very least .1g of concentrate per edible to get 50 bioavailable mgs.

I'd love to hear any input on my plan.. I think it would work better than simply throwing decarbed oil into the gummies. If this doesn't do the trick, I'll probably make super-concentrated coconut oil using QWET and lecithin and use that. I just feel like throwing decarbed oil into the gummie recipe leaves so much bioavailability to be desired, with lipoencapsulation and all that jazz.

Anybody know and good cannabis gummy candy recipes??? Oh and hi I'm new here and I guess this I'm my first post.
Hey i have tried and tested this easy method. Simply follow a hard candy recipe (cannabutter.corn syrup. Sugar) until you turn the heat on. Then you cook on low instead of medium. In lower temps it congeals to a juju bee type product. 5-10 mins max. After the bubbles start .
