-RYOT smell-safe bags are TOTALLY NOT SMELL-PROOF. I had the Mighty and grounded herbs inside the Ryot bag, sitting inside my center console in my car. My friend (who doesn't smoke marijuana) got in the car and was like "Wow, it smells like pot." Fuck that bag, I ended up getting a Pelican 1040 case. Those plastic cases with the rubber gasket and mason jar like closing device are amazingly smell-proof. I know this from experience because this is the amazingly smell-proof case I've had for the Pax 1 and Pax 2 over the years... it freaking rocks:

Of course, 100% agree. Wasn't trying to compare the two as one being overall superior. The vapor smoothness, denseness and draw resistance are what I love about the Mighty. Just saying in certain situations, I found the Pax 2 to be superior. Thanks for feeedback.

Took mighty and my dog on a 20.76 hike today , weather was beautiful and it felt great to be one with nature once again :)
Started and ended with 4 bars..granted I only vaped a partial bowl but it lasted 10min at least. Took 6 hours and 7 mins to do the hike and every minute was great. Especially the last two miles running back. Nice to see that starting sign again :ko:
I'll upload some pictures if anyone is interested later. Time to go fishing !

for me 2 things i dont like the mighty is the pricing of the unit( i got mine for 330 and still think thats stupid expensive) and it leaks vapor when ur not inhaling sometimes. i know all vaporizers leak vapor at times but i found that the mighty does it alot more.
other than that i think the mighty is a fine unit.

I don't know how this magic works. Basically I'm just using oil out of the Cooling Unit for days now. Everytime I do a session, there's a new layer of oil in the CU which I can use for the next day.

Taking this free usage into account; I'm at 0.25g daily by now. Guess I overdid it a big in the first weeks, when I said you'd use 3x the amount of the solo.



I guess my next step will be to buy two CUs which are clean and only use them at either 150-159°C and 160°-190°C while using the old one for 190°+, this should give the oil in the CU different cannabinoids. Basically you could use 1 CU for 1 specific strain but that's not in my accessibility


BTW: I was driving with my bike and the mighty slipped out of the pocket and the thing fell onto the street, do you think there would be a sign of the scratched case?
No way, only the cooling unit has a miniscule, super easily overseen scratch. It's two weeks ago and I haven't seen any signs of damages. Fucking beast.

Mine was put to use on a long work session with my tractor yesterday. Other than the display hard to see in the sun, it worked flawless, and it looked right at home in the tractor tool box next to wrenches and linch pins. I was on my tractor 6.5 hours, and a full loading tool was all I needed for 3 bowls, and leftovers. Long sessions on a tractor can be mind numbing boring, but I had a mighty good time, lol.

So both of my Mighty's have tiny little cracks on the top section near the bowl. Only aesthetic, but a bit of a bummer...could be my fault though, I had each of them in a cargo pocket on a trail run!

The vibration is also very hit and miss....not sure if it's on both of them yet, I always juggle them up in rotation.

Just got the pax2 today for $60 from Craigslist and I'll have to say I agree with you 100%...its okay, if you never tried a mighty or a crafty it would be super impressive

The orange tool at the bottom IS the stand...flip it around, when you do you'll notice it was intentional

The Mighty has been designed for filling while you are holding it.

Simply remove the CU, take the device in your left hand and then use your right hand to attach the filling tool and load your bowl. No need to put it down!

I emailed S&B about the Mighty battery the other day and got this reply, hope this helps others.

When plugged in, the MIGHTY uses the power from the wall outlet without using the batteries.


We recommend to use the batteries from time to time. In order to recalibrate them, you should let them discharge completely and then fully charge them again.

This contradicts what the guy in Oakland told me on the phone but he told me that he was not an engineer and I could try emailing S&B directly. Sounds like us heavy users can really stretch the long term life of our Mighty Batteries this way :)

Good to know! It seems to have been a subject to debate on this thread for a long time so now we have a confirmation that the batteries arent used when charging. Thats awesome, haha. Also the calibration of batteries thingy is good to know of.

Hey @aj0125 when they say discharge completely does that mean vape until it does or run the mighty without herbcontinuously until it dies?

Thx for posting this. I am curious as it seems my battery meter is filling up (unit charging) when I am plugged in and vaping which is contrary to what some have posted that charging and draining a l ion battery is not a good thing. I usually let mine drain to 2 or 3 bars then plug in without using to tap it back to full , then remove from ac cable. I only use it while charging if i have gone to 2 bars or less.​
