Cool Music to Vape to - Part 2

killick

But I like it!
Iggy should wear a shirt? I'll mention it.. He's usually not receptive, and you know how he can get... ;)

Plasmatics - Master plan

Romeo Void - Never say never

And from this decade, from todays selection, we feature...
Nouvelle Vague - Too drunk too fuck

Edit - I remember back in the old days. Pay comes in so straight to the record store, wondering whats new and what rarity might be found in the 'cheap' section (and Tammy Faye Baker sings gospel classics was worth every bit of the $0.25 I spent on it, as a gift, for a fellow DJ's wedding :)

This thread kinda reminds me of those late nights of putting together a mixtape for a friend 'hey, check out this great stuff I forgot about!'. Thanks for sharing in here. It's great both for the oldies and the newbies - this is the most fun I could probably also have with my clothes on, too ;)

Fad Gadget - Collapsing New People

This has seriously been a blast so far - all kinds of things only hazily remembered keep popping up!
I'll admit, my local record store got to the "Hey, we got this new thing and we saved you one!" point with me and that was a little terrifying..

And I wonder what happened to all the records I only knew by cover, flipping past them over and over again. Maybe they were pretty good and I never even knew!

And I miss local scenes.
The Vanishing - Idle Eyes
Swann Danger - You Were Down
Black Ice - Eve E

Lol...
I have the fine honor of being kicked in the head by Iggy when I was 18 and at one of his concerts. Real small venue and I was in the first row. He decided to crowd surf and that's the story..... I'm wondering if it was one of his first crowd surfing experiences; looking back. It was 1969 and the Stooges had just dropped their first album.

The Stooges - 1969

Now around that same time, The Who played Southfield High School. They played in the gym.

The Who - My Generation

But my favorite concert... was seeing Chris Youlden with his big old top hat on and fur coat.... God that was a good show. Again, first row. I was tripping my brains out and remember going home with their songs in my head and Peter Max designs behind my eyelids.

sorry no video links for this one but wanted to share, name is "transoceanic" and there are three albums you can get online via amazon. i cant remember how i found this one out, i think i grabbed an entire scour folder from some user (pre-napster napster deal) and one of their albums was in there. the genre is slow ambient, very melodic. before i ever vaped this was my tune of choice to unwind entirely, especially when it was either physically or mentally impossible to do otherwise, still is a go to choice for that although i think its cool to vape to too.
