Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

Looking for some information on the Omicron HVD.

I bought my girlfriend a latest gen Omicron off w9tech.com for Christmas. Does the latest gen top support 7.4v? Do I need to buy a HVD like this and use it with my latest gen Omicron?

Why aren't these HVD kits available from you directly?

@elmoe420 , it must say HVD on head. I haven't seen them on W9 in some time. I purchased mine from Planet Vape a year and half or two ago. And their the only place that I know that has them still on thier site. I like mine, the batteries are hard to come by though. But the Top is Awesome and it can do the 7.4 Volt. I use it on my Core as well. I think it's worth it.

Hmm I'm confused now because @dilvish said he bought his Omicron direct from W9 at the same time as me and his top says HVD and mine says 446.

@THC SCIENTIFIC Can you enlighten us?

@elmoe420 i have to know his order number first of all to see. At one point we had the no warranty v2.0's up that didn't have the hvd heads. So need to have him contact us and we can see what's going on.

I've opened a ticket #3615778. It was the purple Omicron I got my girlfriend for Christmas that doesn't seem to have the HVD head. I double checked and it was the normal 79$ Omicron with full warranty. Thanks!

PSA to all KISS Globe users....don't overload the cart! I got a nice splatter pattern all over the globe as I was overzealous in packing in my cart. I did this when I first used it a few months ago and forgot since. Last time I soaked it in ISO but this time I'm thinking of popping the globe cover in the freezer for a bit and then scraping the fragments off of the glass to re-vape.

I like your enthusiasm, but may I suggest a silicone tipped tool or maybe a toothpick? The typical metal wax tool used on an iced globe seems likely to weaken the glass and result in an unexpected breakage later, likely during a vigorous cleaning weeks down the road.

Thanks for the suggestion! I had hoped the flecks and specks would be easy to just flick off with a small scalpel but that was not the case at all so back into ISO with the globe.

I thought of that but it felt like more trouble that it's worth. I have an aliquot of ISO that I use for cleaning reclaim so I just used that, it'll eventually get used :)

Heeeey @THC SCIENTIFIC , so I'm still not quite ready to go all in with a Persei or 8 but would one of the new Omicrons be a good match (and significant upgrade from my Omicron lite) for the Kiss Alpha C's I'm literally salivating over?

I want to make sure I have a solid battery to run the Alpha C (is it silly how excited I am about it and I don't even know exactly what it is? ah well, either way..) Will that be a flush fit setup? I'm sorta OCD about that...

I think I saw something about the new Omicrons being well, new and improved in some way? Does that include all of the color options available on your site presently? I want to make sure I get the newest one if this would indeed be a good upgrade path for me.

Your advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes all omicrons now shipping are the v3's they will work great with the Kiss but size wise its another story, the kiss alpha is wider then the omicron.

Ah, ok. Thanks for the info, lots of overhang or just a bit? Would it still be able to stand upright reliably when assembled?

If you don't mind the question here, since I'm not sure where to put it...is there a flush fit battery choice? Aesthetics could possible push me to another choice...

standing upright maybe if all conditions are met but i would say dont count on it.

the Kiss Alpha has two options flush fit or with a skirt for ego.

Ok, good to know about the Alpha C on the Omicron.

To clarify, I was wondering which of the other battery platforms would be the flush fit or at least stable standing choice for the Alpha C.
