New update

Hey Everyone!

Today is May 1st, and there’s good news from the Grasshopper team. No problems have arisen as we’ve checked and double-checked the results of the Hopper production run. Bulk machined parts are in, along with bulk springs and screens. Bulk injection-moulded parts have arrived, which include the final charger clamshell housing. The production charging rings are in, which are compatible with the heavy-grade charging cables (also in-stock).

Heater production is slowly increasing. A Friday-morning update from our US-based heater manufacturer confirms that the largest batch yet will ship early next week.

The pieces are falling into place as we reach the end of this long journey. As we’ve all learned throughout this last year, getting a product from prototype to full production is no easy task, especially when that product contains over 60 custom parts and pushes manufacturing to its limits. But out of extreme difficulty comes greatness, and when you soon try the Grasshopper for yourselves, we know that you’ll agree. Your continued support and patience is the only thing making this possible, and for that we are incredibly grateful.

(Ti Grasshopper, finial version turns out to be 25% lighter)

Check back on the 15th for another update, as the final pieces come together.

We were told earlier in an email that they had worked up to a batch size of 300 for the latest set of heaters, so they have to be getting at least 301 for it to be the largest yet...

Why not include those numbers in these updates? Always so vague.

Promising update, but I feel like everyone just wants to hear a sentence with the words "Grasshopper" and "shipped out" (to customers of course)....and then pictures of completed Grasshoppers in their boxes ready to be packed up. Then I'll be satisfied.

Credit to the one who said this before me, but someone is going to receive that sacred #000420 Hopper. The force is strong with this one...
Well, I've been wondering what we'd do once we're not checking on the latest speculation twice daily - we can compare serial numbers. Guess Buzz got 2 and 3 - I'm sure they saved #1 for the official museum.

Hmmm no pictures of the internal electronics boards... only the charger PCB, my theory that they aren't ready is still intact

Is it too early to say this is the best looking vaporizer on the market (if it's not out yet)?

Am I doing the math correctly? If the SS hopper weighs 60 grams. Than the Ti Grasshopper weighs 45g!? I ask because it doesn't seem correct. A convection vape that weighs 1.5 ounces which puts out 45w of power? To put it in perspective, I just weighed an IMR 18650 and it weighed 42 grams. An 18350 IMR weighed 22 grams. I know it's been asked before but was their a definitive answer if the weight was with the battery or not?

Did anybody catch they have a US based Heater manufacturer before? Maybe they don't just depend on one Chinese based manufacturer for that component These guys are more business savvy than some are giving them credit for if that's true.

I don't expect delivery this month and I don't mind. If I get it in 3 months and it's durable, the wait was well worth it.

They rely on their american manufacturers for the heaters, I assume its to counteract the Chinese clones.

I really do struggle to see how they going to get my shipment to me before the end of may as ratchets email stated. I don't mind if it comes any later, I just wish they weren't so optimistic in their predictions as they are setting themselves up to dissapoint us again.

They already disappoint every backer + every April ship date pre-order. How many more this month ?
