Rosin Technique....Easy DIY Solventless

I bought some muslin-ish bags at a home brewery/micro brewery shop. They're not superfine mesh, but they hold the hash in place. I take approx 0.2 from an Jardallah Zero Zero ass egg, and wrap it once. Any more and the cloth absorbs all the oil. Then I put it in parchment and heatpress it for four to five second in the hair straightener.

Usually I get most of the oil in one pressing, and just throw the hash and cloth in 60% vodka, where I store my flat buds as well for tincture purposes.

Oh yeah, I press at 150 degrees celsius. The yield is so ridicolous, so I tried a lesser quality hash, knowing this egg isn't normal.

I tried with some old, dry semi good hash. Crazy yield. This hash was lighter, so was the oil.

I will say this, import hash based rosin does not vape as clean on my quartz nail as bud based rosin, which again does not vape as clean as my iso shatter.

It is MIRACOLOUS in the Vapman, okay on my nail and later I will try mixing it with EJmix, and rebort on how it works with the wicks. Will it be too waxy?

Sorry for a caothic post, super medicated

@Burken , and others who wanna do rosin tech with import hash !ping!

So 8.5 grams of high quality Moroccan import hash yielded 2.0 grams of oil. I'm pretty sure my next run will yield more since I got better at it as I went along.

So if you're a European or Middle Eastern person with access to cheap hash and expensive buds try rosining your hash :)

Awesome, I'm gonna try that myself as soon as I get Bubblemans rosin screen!

So what's the most efficient/best way to press Kief discovered so far? I have some tea bag screens and I'm thinking of wrapping one of these pressed puck's I have with one to try it, but I'm stingy as hell and not trying to waste anything learning...I've been relying solely on squishing nugs up until this point and am afraid to branch out.

edit: nevermind holy shit wrapping the puck in a tiny piece of tea bag surprised the hell out of me for how much made it through to the parchment

Did you use an actual tea bag for this?

A buddy brought me a ~2g nugg of some really fresh uncured Critical Kush and I got a pretty decent yield. SUPER potent stuff but one of my presses was a little hot so the flavor wasn't as good as it could've been. Still not bad at all. Ended up with ~.3.

Scraped my LSV wand and WPA and got a nice little chunk of vapor resin hash stuff. Pressed through a 25u screen it actually came out pretty good.

Blows my mind that I can make 100% clean full melt from some nasty LSV reclaim hahaha. Obviously the flavor isn't awesome but it's POTENT.

Made some rosin from bubble and the rosin is so greasy it must be scrapped up on a bag of ice. There is at least a gram there and it keeps buddering up. Pressed it at 200°F. Did some dabs out of the FC CAKE and it left very little residue on the nail.

Next pressing will be 160°F.

Edit. I pressed some fresh scissor and finger hash at 150°F @8 to 10 second presses.

Did a dab out of the FC CAKE and it was the best dab I ever did in my life. In the top 10 hits I ever took.

I'm will borrow or use a high quality camera for proper pics

Blows my mind you can even get it off the parchment haha. My Solo stem reclaim is sticky as fuck and smears on parchment :/

Really nice! Could it be a Widow?
It could be.. I never knew the growers and back then all Indica was called "chronic" or PT bud (port townsend) in my circles. Anything Sativa was Afghani, Panama or Maui. Nasty brown weed was usualy from Mexico..

I only held on to seeds that I thought were "rare" and the best I had ever seen at the time. ;)

@NorVape , I have several that turned out to be Sativa which was surprising to me. They are very tall already for my space and getting bigger so I probably won't see what they turn out like until fall if they survive the deer. lol

Has anyone tried using a combination of high pressure steam through a cylinder while hydraulically driving a piston through the cylinder? It's my understanding that the flat press works well because of the increased surface area for the heat to penetrate. I'm thinking of trying high pressure steam running through a hydraulically driven piston that will pressing the material in a cylinder... In theory, should get steam, water and oil out the other side, cool solution and separate water from oil..

Also could possibly increase the outlet valve pressure to allow for an increased steam temp.. not sure...

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks
