Looking for a good Seattle source

Hi, I'm looking for a dispensary in or near Seattle that legally sells shatter. I'm not worried about price, just want something that is made right, preferably with vacuum ovens and all that jazz. Someone who doesn't beat the plant to a pulp either. Anyone know of a good source?

Thanks!

I believe Farmer Joe Parker is processing for at least one recreational establishment up north. If I were you, I'd get on instagram, browse around his profile and see if you can find that information. Probably your best bet to find quality in a recreational store. No way in hell I'd personally step foot in one of those shops, but I hope that helps you. If you were a medical patient, I could point you in a number of other directions. Some great dispensaries up north with products I have first hand experience with. If I can be of any further help, just ask. Will do my best to help you find what you're looking for.

Are the recreational shops that bad? Do they not also Supply medical patients(with an appropriate discount?) ?

The state is trying to merge medical into these shops where quality is lesser than what many patients receive now. An intiative just passed and this will take effect in the middle of July IIRC. I receive medicine every month for free as it stands now. Doubt they will do the same for me and if they do, it will be cannabis with 0.3% THC and lower only which is the opposite of what current science states is most effective (the "entourage effect" of all cannabinoids working together is the most medicinal method of consumption). Recreational's money lobbied to merge medical to help eliminate the competition. So, because of that, patients like myself will experience a heavier burden in regard to affording the medicine I consume to be a contributing member of society within my community. Not your problem, so I'm not trying to flood this thread with all that information. I just know that my children (whom I raise on my own full-time) have had their father able to run around the yard, play games, and live a relatively normal & happy life these last couple of years. If these changes cause me to have to start paying out of pocket, I don't know that I'll be able to afford what it takes for me to get the relief I've been getting, which will in turn effect my abilities to perform my day-to-day activities.

Anyway, I think finding where Farmer Joe Parker's products are is your best bet in finding quality at the rec shops. I'm picky in regard to concentrates, but if I were to have to go through a recreational shop today, I'd find out where his products are on shelves and drive my ass there immediately, lol. You'll be happy you did so long as they're not charging you $100 for a half gram.

Well...I guess the ideal situation indeed would be if recreational use(rs) cooul finance the medicinal use...

Thanks for your reply... you not in a position to grow for yourself? Because that to me is always the preferred way to go. Yeah, for sure that way it is not for free, but closer to being free then in the clubs.

And people who need this plant as a medicine but cannot grow it themselves should be able to have easy and sage excess to whatever they might need... But I guess we all know that here.

Unfortunately not. Given my specific situation, it would likely create more drama than is wanted/needed. Long story. Free medicine delivered every month that is grown organically and wins new awards annually. No matter how I look at it, it's a huge step backwards regardless, thanks to this state's greed. Anyway, please let us know if that helped you OP. If not, I will see what other information I can find to help you in your search.

Care to elaborate a bit? I'm up north in the Everett area of Wa and am always looking for leads on the good meds. I'm happy to share my experiences as well of course.

On topic, I'm medical as well so I've yet to explore the rec shops. I'm curious if they see any of the medical brands that are carried in most dispensaries, like Refine Seattle, Dama, Platinum Extracts, etc? For me the rec shops hold no appeal, since all the product is pre-packed and sealed (you just take what you are given, sight unseen as I understand?) and prices are double what I pay. Biggest screw-job economy going imo. When I think about all the shit that had to happen 5 years ago to get me my 1/8 ( illegally) for $40, now it's $70 legally grown and sold by my neighbor. Nucking futz...

That's my rant lol, sorry not very helpful to the OP....

There are a few establishments that carry the dry herbs I receive from my provider. Don't know about their other products, but Humanity Collective, Northwest Patient Resource Center, and Greenworks Co-Op all carry TJ's Organic Gardens flowers. They win awards annually. Keep an eye out for TKO Reserve as well for the dry herbs and GOAT Organics. For concentrates, I recently have tried T-Rex Concentrates who are at MMJ Universe in Black Diamond for the Farmers Markets on Saturday, but thats over close to the Covington/Enumclaw area. Their donation rates are amazing for the quality when you snag 4 grams. Farmer Joe Parker has some good concentrates, as does Knotty, Medicinoils, & TJ's. Dama isn't anything special from my experiences to be honest. I can't comment on the other two, but have heard good things about Refine Seattle.

For the most part, I'm almost always good on dry herbs unless I want to add 4 strains at low quantity to give me more of a selection to choose from. Concentrates, I'll be going through T-Rex & Medicinoils going forward. My buddy is a partner with Medicinoils, so quality & donate rates are always outstanding. T-Rex will be used as a headstash for myself with concentrates that I treat myself to whereas Medicinoils will be my primary that I consume the most of.

Figured this information would be of use to anyone looking around the area. I've covered both recreational & medical to the best of my abilities for that area. Patients down south in WA near Vancouver can also get TJ's Organic Gardens products through their delivery service. Their delivery driver Gad is one of the coolest dudes I've ever met and will take care of every single patient he visits. Samples are common to find what works the best and all their flowers are amazing. The Chocolate Kush is my primary smoke. White Label, Dark Star, & Purple Kush are outstanding at night. Blue Dream, Grapefruit, Girl Scout Cookies, Matanuska Thunder Fuck, and Durban Poison are all great sativas. I think every single one of those strains has won awards for TJ's as well with the exceptions of Dark Star & Grapefruit. Tacoma has Left Coast Cannabis and Lacey (near Olympia) has The Healthy Element, so all up/down the I-5 corridor have places where you can find their products.

Edit: Here's my flickr account where I've been posting pictures. I tried to put information on every picture with at least strain and cultivator/processor. If you have anymore questions, message me as I really don't want to flood this thread if it's not wanted by OP. https://www.flickr.com/photos/pieromania/

Thanks Pie! You've definitely given me a great starting point. I was casually searching around for information on T-Rex's setup, and found this nifty photo

Seems pretty legit to me haha, look forward to trying stuff if I can find the right dispensary. Thanks again

Cool, thanks for all the good info. I would agree Farmer Joe and Knotty make good oil, also I'd add Fweedom and Solstice to that list. I buy Refine Seattle often, it's in every shop around me and pretty consistent. I avoid Crop Circle, Tree House, and Nitro Honey. All can be had at 4g even sometimes 5g for $100, not a sign of quality in my book lol. On visual inspection they appear to have been poured into the container in a liquid state and have visible contaminants suspended within :( IDK if any of these makers are available in the OP's market, but that's a few tidbits at least. Anyone watch BretMaverick on Youtube? He makes oil for a dispensary, maybe called Herbal Healing down around Anacortes I think? He's a very interesting dude, a few sharp edges but I like him. A bit (in)famous for breaking his Fab egg after about a week of ownership:clap:. The guy in the above photo kinda reminded me of him anyways lol..

Ok you GOTTA elaborate on that one! Where does the line start for the free award-winning meds?

Evergreen herbal has some products down here by me at at least one of the dispensaries. Never been intrigued enough to scoop some. More interested in the "Dope Cook" stuff or Polarice Tracts full melt ice hash.

As for Farmer Joe's products, the recreational ones are under the brand "Omega Concentrates". Here's the info so you can follow them on Instagram and below that will be a couple tidbits for patients.
