I buy that tube by the six foot 'stick' and was going to cut you a couple longer pieces if I could put them in an envelope and put a stamp on it. A couple years back I made and mailed well over 100 such custom length stems for MFLB owners by way of 4/20 celebration. I still have some of the tube handy.
OF, where do you buy the tube from?

Thanks!

You da man OF. Thanks!

How do they ship this 6 foot length of tube? It's not flexible, right?

Beats me, I buy in person.

If I were ordering it for stems I'd suggest they cut it into pieces. IIRC there's an extra charge for long packages. Good folks, I'm sure if you asked them (and told them you needed short pieces in the end) they'd come up with something. They have a shop and full tools available for making custom pieces.

The tube itself is a bit flexible, you may know the material as 'plexi glass'?

BTW, they have other stuff to spend your money on. I'm a big customer of both snap and screw top containers, they make great stash containers for instance.......

Something tells me all the feedback @vapman have been getting from this place amongst others will inspire some new add ons for the Vapman when the heating stations are shipped and taken care off ;) Remember what a change even the simple idea of concentrate screens was! Yesterday I saw a Vapefiend video where he showed GoBoof's new concentrates screens for the Alpha. Now, I'm not accusing anyone of stealing ideas. That's not how progress and innovation works. The Alpha has a heating pin, and adding a screen for concentrates just makes sense. I'm merely pointing out that René has a knack for finding solutions that are brilliant in their simplicity. His one of those guys who make you go "gaaah, why didn't I think of that?!"

And also, Vapman is a European company, and this whole glass culture isn't as wide spread here as in the US and Canada, so honestly I don't think René was aware of the demand for WonGs etc untill recently.

But I'm no mindreader, so René will probably answer all these questions himself when he has time. Or just pop up with an amazing product that answers all our questions.

All this tinkering makes me think @vapman should offer some aftermarket bespoke middle section / mouthpieces? Id love a custom one from the vapman himself
Yes. I emailed René about this and he may work on that after he's done with the Stations. He also has the Ebony Vapmans and his usual work on his plate.

Maybe some nice wood 14 & 18 mm connectors and some long Mouthpieces would be cool.

Excellent news, yes ive already got an eye on the ebony ones. They will look awesome .. i think the mica will really set off the dark ebony.

@simpleasthcis I have a few questions about your Tabasco bottle stem mod. Basically, how did you make it? Did you cut off the bottom of the bottle? And how did you drill the holes in the side? I'd like to make one.

Also, since it's made of glass and not high temp borosilicate glass, is there a risk of it shattering from high temps? How does it hit? How is it different from the standard stem?

I too am interested in how the holes are made. But I'm not sure it's not borosilicate, it most likely is. Due to the fact little guys like this are blown into compound dies and have thread fit and other issues this is the standard material for screw top dram vials, for instance. It's not all that much more expensive and can offer serious advantages in modern production.

In any event, whatever glass is used, it had much nastier thermal shocks in molding the bottle itself. If it survives to meet the VM formally, 400F should not be an issue. What that bottle saw before the hot sauce baptism should make the VM party time......

Good thought, of course.

I love the concept. I don't need to have one though, no I don't. It wouldn't be all that much fun, would it?

I have been thinking of getting a wong for the vapman but wasn't sure how well it will be for water. I was curious on how others like the vapman paired with water?

Also any feed back on the long stems would help me on this decision..

Thanks guys

I'm a fan of using my vapman with water @Philreal187. Today I'm using it with the D-020.

You can push the middle section into a female 14mm joint and see how you like it before you invest in a wong.

If you like using concentrates in your vapman any type of longer stem is a good idea to combat the extra heat needed.

Hiya bounce5 gald you like it
My first ever mid had a small crack at one pin (it never progressed n is still fine)but for fear of being without I started looking for alternatives, I'm a tinker really, I used a cheep glass drill set if you go SLOWLY its possible.did work ok though It was more for fun than anything else, corse it prone to get hot but that depends on how much heat  I like that its volume is 1/8 of an OZ:peace:

Thanks OF for the stats facts

Thanks for the tips! I didn't get how you cut the bottom off though. Did you use the drill set to cut off the bottom too? I think I remember seeing a video on youtube where people use acetone and fire to cut glass as well... That seems like it would be quite tricky to do with a drill...I don't have a vice either, is one necessary?

Water tools & long stems are fun, but the original mouthpiece, even POM, is most practically suited to Vapman.

Thanks but no thanks my vapman is the only thing I've ever brought from the interweb shop, and apart from that initial outlay my vapeing costs me zero €$or£

Source local products and upcycle I like :\
