With my Iris I really notice it badly. I start at 1.7ohm, then 1.9, 2.5, 3.0, 5.4, then back to 1.8. I may have it now, but not consistently.

Super amped for more info on the KISS Alpha Cantauri tomorrow. Is it rude to ask about the tentative release schedule for Iris v2 and Universe? Hope not -- are they slated for a 2015 release?

I can already see the iris v2 selling out in 10 minutes

I love my v1, just wish it didn't make my persei into a sword.

The rod resistance value changes during use. Are these readings during use ? I love my iris v1 but it blinks and shuts off randomly. Happens enough to make it annoying. Still love using it!

ok community, and or Samurai Sam or W9, how do I use the kiss Mini's i've ordered and received? Do I just melt in like .3-.5 gram like the original E/O Carts, filling up the Cup? I've seen a few pics on here where someone filled it up like that and looked like the coil was Swimming in Oil? thanks peeps, be waiting for a response while at work and will have my material with me to try these things out.

I'd probably put like a .2 max. I haven't *actually* used mine yet but i get the idea that if you fill the cup it's going to not hit as well, maybe splatter or have you suck up hot oil, or other

The resistance changes between hits, but sometimes it's so high it barely heats. I blaming the user though.

I'm by no means an expert, as I only picked one up during the sale. I chucked in around 0.2 at most, and I would say that seemed too much. I'm not super familiar with the EO tube style, so it could be my technique w/ the mini is to blame.

I would saturate coil, then try 1.5x a globe dose and try larger payloads until you feel like your returns are diminishing. Then melt it and pull a little out w/ a dab tool, possibly?

@Nube Scrutator and I belive a few others have reported success with the kiss mini around .3-.4 if I recall he also modded one to fit the okeanos wich sounds pretty interesting

My experience has shown that .3 or .4 will result in leakage and poor feeding. Especially if you are rocking the mini on the "vaporizer" battery. IMO the "vaporizer" is inefficient/ineffective for use with the mini. It does not have the ass to generate good hits. I grabbed a minicron during the sale, I hope the extra power will be reliable enough to take with me to Italy at the end of the month......

I fill my Kiss mini to the white ceramic cup level. They can leak if you don't cool them down after hits. They work best on big battery set. U can get good clouds using 18650 battery setup and riding the button. On the omicron they work well too. Best performance is fully charged battery. The strongest point of the Kiss mini IMO is flavor and stealth.

I put a Kiss mini in my okeanos too after reading about @Nube Scrutator mod. They work well on the okeanos. Nice flavor indeed!

I'm not a huge fan of the regular kiss carts (both of mine have the old white wick) but I've been really tempted to try the globe and mini but just can't seem to pry myself away from my hercs

Globe is worth trying. I loved my KISS in comparison to my previous non-w9 atomizers, but the globe is leaps and bounds better than a normal KISS as far as getting the hit you want.

510mod Globe with Dual Ni 3.7v + Nibbler G = I don't remember much of last night. That Dual Nichrome atty is no joke. Provari P3 set for 3.7v. Clouds from the skies. One hitter quitter. Also the 1701 ceramic tastes amazing much like my DT ceramic atty but much better diffusing with the black wick.

ok, now that have a Hammer top and rod set-up to use on the core, what do i do with it?

I find that I have to mash on the button when using the regular kiss globe, works good, but seems to take a moment to start producing vapor, but when it starts, you just need to throttle the button. The Kiss Carts are really cool, I've enjoyed and am still enjoying the 3.7 Volt and 7.4 Volt Versions. The 7.4 Vapes your oil instantly with just a pulse or two of the button! POOF!! GONE! I've just never really been a fan of LAYG Carts. They have their place in my rotation for Quick MONSTER HITS, but not really convenient for me unless I'm at home. I've always from Day 1 Loved using the Original E/O Carts of the 1.5 OHM, 2.4 Ohm and 5.0 Ohm Variety. Love just loading up a 1/2 Gram and then just pulling away at will with no inconvenience of constantly having to load. I usually just buy them by the 5 Pack, they're a Great Deal!! I usually get to run 2 Grams through them instead of the 1 they're supposed to last. I'll be Testing out all the kiss globe coils that I've recently purchased this weekend, like the dual coil nichrome and titanium and the donut. Can't wait to try them.

If anyone doesn't like to worry about fully charged batteries when your vaping at home, then you should definitely Pick yourself up a "Core" It's GREAT!! and allows you to set your Voltage and you can even charge up a phone or other 5 Volt USB accessory. @StickyShisha , you can use the Hammer Top to aid in the use of The BENDER, the Hercules, use it instead of a lighter or fire when smoking a bowl or bong, vape oil straight off it, etc.

I think usps tracking glitched on me it still says a label was created but never got any further

First impression of the v1.5 1701 is that the taste is amazing as expected. Vapor production is still low but seems better than the v1. I've only tried it at 3.7v so far since my Core is currently out of commission. Like with the v1 I feel like the 1701 somehow consumes oil more quickly. Not sure if that is just in my head though.

Also tried one of the Ni dual coil carts. This thing hits like a truck. Very impressed with the vapor production. This of course comes at the sacrifice of taste. I think part of the issue is that one of the two coils in the cart I tried has a major hot spot on it. The wires are all bunched up and touching each other and not well spaced like on the other coil. I'm going to see if I can separate them a bit with a toothpick. That should improve the taste considerably I would guess.

W/ no info posted for alpha centauri, I sure hope the release date is still within sight...

Noticing the same thing with the 1701 about the hard draw to get more vapor, but it seems to add a lot of splash. In the KISS base, there are two air holes. If you plug one of these, you only have to draw half as hard to get similar effect

Plug one of the holes on the side of the globe base works too. I like donut more than the kiss, if only for the fact that there is one air hole in the ceramic cup. The only kiss based cart that i get SLIGHTLY less splatter is the dual coil. To each their own splatter comfort level.

Now, I have a problem. Anyone have the trick to turning off the V4 on first attempt toward the end of a herc sesh?

Just had an interesting idea would it be possible for a variable voltage/wattage device to read the resistance of a cart and save a voltage/wattage preset to load whenever that cart is attached?

as of right now no info on alpha as we are running around trying to get it all sorted out, a small fubar in packaging thats being redone so we wait till next friday on shipment.

Once i get shipment notice alpha will be available for orders. I dont want to have to take money for issues that might pop up last minute, learned our lesson well.
