Solo loses over Han, because he can't kill anyone.
In terms of vaping that is a win on the other hand.
Oh and don't let yourself become scared of the mighty. All faulty units are part of the early adopter phase and have already be taken care of, free replacements with new units covered by the warranty. Sure, the mighty is more expensive, but it's the quality that is worth it.
You must know how much you are gonna use that thing and divide the price by the days of using it. As a daily driver with a 2yr guarantee you pay 0,47€ per day which is worth it imho (and I am fkin broke, mind that). I too used my solo for 2 yrs straight but I can't see myself giving the solo more using time than the mighty ever. Just being able to get single digit temperatures is so nice.
The solo will rather become my "lend-to-friends and introduce them to vaping"-unit. A beast that you can give out of hands without worrying because of the lower price.

Your post got me thinking (usually a dangerous proposition). What is the actual cost difference between a Solo / Air vs mighty.
Just about every Arizer customer buys LOTS of additional stems, GONGS PVHES stems, etc.
By the time you add up all of the "extras" you may be surprised at the total cost versus something more expensive to start with. From what I understand the mighty is ready to go and needs no modifications.
Total cost will surprise you.

The solo is "ready" out of the box, but how many people here only use the straight and bent 2 hole stems that came with it???
I guarantee you that if I were to add up the $ from the "extras" for my Solo I would have the monetary equivalent of a mighty.
To Arizer's credit all of the Solo accessories fit the Air.

I only use stock stems. I have a wooden stem as a back up. But I prefer the stock stems. Same with the air. I see no need for other stems. But, it gives options. How many mouthpiece options does the mighty have?

I don't doubt that a bit. You can easily have spent a bundle if you wanted to. But that's an individual call. And it's an option.
Sort of like adding the cost of the Canadian vacation you intend to take to the cost of the new car?
Also, as I see it, when you buy all that lovely aftermarket stuff, you have expanded the performance. It (the collection) will now do more things, some of which the S&B offering can't even if you throw more money at it?
While it's possible to add stuff to the basic unit, I think in order to avoid the 'apples to oranges Strawman' you should also accessorize the Mighty?

I have to agree with the above folks, I love the stock straight stem. I have a nice Ed's stem I use as a "little black dress" basically to impress my friends lol, but daily driver I like the straight glass mostly for maintenance reasons. Best add-on imo is a PV GonG.

Of course this is a huge difference in comparing prices of each other.
But talking about the price of the solo, 200€ for me + I am around the 15th glass stem by now for 5€ a piece + some HE stems for 10€ and the Mighty comes cheaper if I don't buy a cooling unit a month.
The option to vape at 150-159°C is the kick for me. Solo doesn't offer that.

I have the solo. Haven't broken any stems. Only accessories I've added for it is one gong and one wooden stem and orings.
That's about $40 plus shipping, orings are about a quarter from the hardware store and I have not yet had to replace mine from piu. If I do use my solo now its pretty much only with the shorty, plastic tipped stem that comes from my air. Add an extra 10 for that and it's still only about $200.
Lots of people like vaping through glass. There are also adapters for the mighty that allow them to be used with glass pieces. There're also gaskets and other wear/tear replacement parts for the crafty/mighty as well.
Don't get me wrong, the mighty sounds fantastic but any vape will have a ton of extras people can choose to add.

Cost of ownership is, of course different math. Insurance costs, depreciation and so on. You might even make money tax wise?
15 broken stems? Mighty impressive! Good show you and Ataxian are about 8 time zones apart......
Me too, and a tried a lot of times, really. A few high probability shots one on concrete, 3 foot down, six forward. Dent and scratches on Mister Solo but the stem jumped for it and skidded to a stop downrange. A couple more in the garden but nothing like tripping on the patio.
Only one I actually broke I did washing it. Let that be a lesson to you all. It would, of course, be my bent PVHES...... But fair's fair. That horse is on me.
Another great point, those of us that are into breaking glass and those of us who never get into it can enjoy this fine machine for making vapor. Life, life is sweet.

I`m quoting @CarolKing because she`s always been good at keeping it simple and cutting straight to the chase, but I could have easily quoted a number of great comments from lots of members.
I`ve had my Solo for about four months now and the more I get to know it the more I really like it. I always use it with my 18" silicone whip attached to one of my Solo glass stems...not expensive, not complicated, works great for me.
I did buy a PVHES stem and a spare Arizer stem (because I like to load several stems with different CBD/THC blends)...once again, works great for me.
I find the PVHES to be probably not necessary given that I have the latest version Solo, so I wrapped a couple of layers of Teflon Plumber`s Tape around where the air channels are, to cut down on the extra air-flow.
Still like my stock stems better but without the whip in place the PVHES might be my choice...but I really don`t need it...
So if you`re looking for a great Vape at a very reasonable price, we`re not a bunch of over medicated zealots...we love our Solo`s because they really get the job done and they do it very well in a whole bunch of very versatile, very customizable ways!
Just buy one, you won`t be disappointed...wish I had bought mine sooner!

I've only ever broken one stem and that was just tapping it on the ashtray to unload the abv. Had to use the bent stem for a while why I waited for a replacement. Love my solo.

Since accessories were brought up, i just felt like summing up my Solo expenditure
I got my Solo for 130
A pvhes straight stem, which i've only used a few times - 25
A 14mm pvhes gong, which i use everyday/night - 25
A bubbler (like the f bomb) Which i use rarely with the solo but its amazing as a little bubbler for my wax pens -20
And that d020 bubbler, which i absolutely adore for -35
and an adapter for the gong to d020, 10
Add all that up 245, plus i lost a charger once, so +20 hahaha
that's 265 tat i've spent on my solo so far.
Now, if i subtract the things i don't really use and if i hadn't lost that charger it would've been -25, -20, -20, so...... That's $200 for an awesome vaporizer set up, at home and on the go.
I might just drop another 10 on a skin, and MAYBE 10 on those domed screens off ebay
Do y'all recommend them? I've seen a couple posts here and there about these... but so far i only see 10 for 10... Good price but i its not like i need 10 screens atm
Any other accessories that y'all might have in mind to add to my list?

Agreed. They spread through my Solo and Air stems like crabgrass through a lawn. All except Ed's and the Vortex. I've gone one stock Solo and one stock Air stem, neither of which get used lately. Ed's is next for the treatment I guess, the Vortex too small?

How do all you D020 owners clean your bubbler?
I've used 90 proof and salt, but it seems there's always a tiny film of vapor juice at the top area. I like my glass like new... i feel i've grown more picky since i started vaping. Can't hit a dirty bong anymore, nor a ressed up pipe
Well anyways, fter cleaning it 3 times, i notice that the resin accumulates a bit faster than the previous times.
Or maybe i'm just vaping so much that my sense of time has just... well

I guess the cost of shared accessories would be divided by two.
That makes the cost $160 per unit with accessories.
Stock glass with the Solos gave me four stems (2 straight-2 bent).
I wouldn't count the water tools because they are used with all my vapes.
Options are nice, but you don't have to buy them.
People here just seem to change 'er up for different effects and just for the fun of vaping your favorite herb a different way.
