But I like it!
Making a batch of 'lavender blueberry muffin, sans lavendar. Used medicated choco chips instead. And a shot of tinc. And in place of sugar out got 3/4 palm sugar and 1/4 stevia in the raw. Now it gets powdered freeze dried blueberry powder on top. Woop woop :)

And the medicated choco chips kinda caused everything to get a bit too liquid, so they are crumbly, but absolutely delightful! Why wasn't I told that this baking stuff is pretty easy? It's amlost as bad as
!

This is @ChippyMalone once he figures out his garden plot! ;)

Beautiful morning here. Just watched the sunrise over Mt Rainier after sending the wife on her way to work.

Slept in the guest room because sometimes that mattress is the most comfortable for me, so I had to pack a portable vaping station. I looked at it just now and realized how lovely it looked, so I took a photo.

@Enchantre 's famous topical cannaoil in the jar is awesome, BTW. I believe that it is giving localized relief to my back that is giving me an extra hour or two of sleep.

The leftover ground bud from last night was a blend of GSC, Sugar Kush, Contract Kush, boosted with a bit of Dutch Treat from a friend.

@ChippyMalone, that does look lovely! (Don't mind my drooling haha)

Glad you had a beautiful morning -- I woke up to snow covering the ground... :disgust: It's almost May, for crying out loud, winter is supposed to be over!

It's good to hear that @Enchantre's cannaoil is helping you out. Also, did you ever get that almond massage oil/high-CBD CO2 oil thing figured out? I'm interested to hear how that went if you did.

@Derrrpp Thanks! I haven't quite gotten the high CBD massage oil worked out, but I did just buy a Magical Butter machine, and once I get comfortable with that a few times, I think I will have the confidence to risk making this stuff with the CBD oil I have stashed away. I just only have these few syringes of this rare oil that I haven't even seen available since I found it, so I'm hesitant to risk it until I know it will be a slam dunk. I'm also being a bit of a chicken shit too. . . .

I've had enough stuff not turn out, that I'm with ya, Chippy.

I was doing something with my torch rig... and, yeah, somehow I got myself medicated. Oh, I was cooking canna oil! Edible version (the stuff I gave you, @ChippyMalone , is technically edible, but I wouldn't eat it. ABV is sorta yeeech), and have been testing effects.

I spent some time talking with my plants, too. I think I've been neglecting their emotional development. Had some heart to heart with them. Gardening is a very healing activity.

Oh, when I did my canna oil with the bho, I only needed to get the oil/concentrate to dissolve together. It was "done" at that point. Chippy, not sure you even need to "cook" what you've got. try just dissolving it in the oil, then test. If it doesn't feel right, then simmer for a few hours. But try with less and go to more. :)

@Enchantre I do so love this thread because we can make it whatever we want it to be at the moment. Right now, it's a cooking show. Thanks for bringing me down to earth with the solid simple advice that just warming the two together and stirring is probably all that is needed and that I am way over thinking this. Especially since I don't have to do the extraction, I'm just blending two oils with very different viscosity.

I also bought a big giant jar of virgin coconut oil. I didn't know that there was refined and unrefined, but I went with the more expensive unrefined stuff. Didn't know it was that expensive and I probably need to find a better place to buy it than the expensive grocery store. Maybe an Asian market? My neighbors (one is Japanese) are taking me to one of the really big Asian markets in Seattle on Thursday. I'm pretty excited, but have no idea what I really want/need to buy other than a big bag of Cactus honey granules (not "honey" at all) that the Korean ladies in Birmingham all loved in their tea.

Cactus honey is some sort of dried agave nectar from Mexico . But if you buy it from some organic natural foods store, it's really expensive. Or you can buy it from a Korean market in a big bag for a fraction of the cost. It's their "classy" tea sugar, at least among the Korean ladies I knew in Birmingham. Curiously, I lived in an ordinary looking southern neighborhood that had a decent sized Korean community. A couple great restaurants and markets where I learned about this stuff. But as a beekeeper, I don't like the deceptive use of the name, but it might be a matter of being translated from Spanish to Korean and then to English.

But despite the name "honey", it is never been touched by a honeybee.

@MinnBobber When I moved from Alabama to Washington last year this time, I sold my bees to another beekeeper. I'm no longer able to physically manage traditional hive equipment, as the boxes become incredibly heavy when full of honey, so I have built an African Kenya Top Bar Hive which looks very much like a coffin balanced on two saw horses. It's a more natural way to do bees, as the bees create completely free-form natural comb instead of being constricted to build inside frames exactly how the beekeper sets it up. But for me, the big deal is that the heaviest thing I'll ever have to lift is the wooden roof. And because of it's height, I will not have to bend whatsoever to work my bees.

I'm taking a risk here and am not actually buying bees this time around. I live on a hill overlooking the most fertile valley in the Tacoma/Seattle area, and it is absolutely full of berry farms and high end organic farmer's market produce. And there are numerous beekeepers in the neighborhood. So what i have done is purchase a pheremeone swarm lure that will guide any lost swarms to my property to set up shop inside my hive. Every beekeeper loses a swarm or two most every year, and I know for a fact that there are at least 50 hives within a quarter mile of me, and that's just the hobbyists in the neighborhood. They will bring in commercial hives for pollination services, and some of them could swarm and provide me with my bees. And if this doesn't work out, I'll look into finding someone's late season split and start my hive going enough to get it through the winter to have a first harvest in summer/fall of 2016. Two years ago, the thought of patiently waiting for bees to show up at my doorstep and accepting that there might not be any honey until 2016 is something I would have been completely unable to do. The patience I've learned over the past two years or so has been a really good thing for me.

I just broke out the really big guns to combat the worst breakthrough pain I've had in a couple months. I think it is going to be temporary, but it is a disappointment when I've been doing BETTER with alternative herbal/natural medicines than with pills and patches.

So this is what they sold me to ensure that tonight I'm going to sleep whether I want to or not! If it is what it says it is (and it came from the place that lab tests everything), this will be twice as potent as any edible I've had, plus it has the extra CBD and bonus Limonene terpene boost. Tasty as all get out too, which is saying something from a guy that really cannot stand the taste of edible cannabis if it has the faintest grassy flavor.

I'd like to think that they misspelled "marshmallow" on purpose, because in this context "marshmellow" is far more apt.
Very good observation skills, @Ashish, but considering that I slept an entire normal night without waking (first time since fall 2014), I suspect that Marshmellow is the correct spelling.

This is why I need to get my Magical Butter Machine up and running and producing potent edible oils so I don't have to run out at night, buy a potent edible, and then hope our actually is what it was labeled as.

And @Ashish, since I haven't seen you around here and you've found my secret hiding place already, I just want to welcome you to the site.

I can assure you that almost everyone in this thread has a wealth of vaping knowledge to share. My favorites are all here.......

Oops. This was yesterday's, but I guess
I was off doing other things.....

Silly afternoon. Yesterday. Picked up my blind friend and we Explored an awesome hardware store in Tacoma to look for gardening tools that are more accessible for me. We do great: the lame leading the blind. Found an awesome weeder thing that looks like a metal stirrup on a pole that shaves just beneath the soil to separate week from root. And it has a rocking motion that will allow it to work in both directions, halving my effort. I also bought three artichoke plants to plant in the mole infested plot in my community garden. Damn little buggers ate every pea sprout I put in there. So I decided to fuck with them and plant all the things that burrowing animals hate: onions, garlic, shallots, and I cannot imagine them enjoying the thistle that is an artichoke.

Is pumping jeep exhaust into their burrows through a garden hose considered "organic gardening"?

Anyway, That wasn't the point of this vaped diary entry. . . .

The point was that I then picked up my wife from work and took her to an antique store where the owner had promised to bring in a tray of loose semi-precious stones she would sell cheaply to a new jewelry making student, as she herself is a retired goldsmith and wants to help me out. But she hadn't found them yet, so we went out for Mexican food. During dinner, she asked if I had a medible in my bag and I did not. So she decided to hang at the restaurant while I wandered off to go to a dispensary favorite nearby. Along the way I saw literally the most awesome motorcycle I've ever seen in my life.

The guy said he made basically everything on it, including the tires!!!! I love the rat-rod style and this thing just blew me away.

Then I met a man named Mole. He told me a poem about watching the sunrise when he was living in a one gas station town somewhere near or in Death Valley. Best line in it was about how he'd watched the exact same sunrise a thousand times and it was never the same.

Dispensary visit was uninteresting. I came in and said I simply wanted the very strongest edible for breakthrough pain at night. Came home with a jar of medicated peanut butter that had 300mg of THC and ate half of it when I got home.

But it took longer than expected to walk up several streets (The area downtown is built almost on stairs, so to go three blocks means walking up many stories.) So by the time I returned, my wife had probably had one more margarita than she should have (I'm a double Roy Roger's or Shirley Temple kind of cocktail drinker!).

Because she was disappointed that we had not been able to find raw materials for my jewelry making, she suggested we drop by the metal studio and see what my teacher had in her case. My drunk wife proceeded to choose a nice handful of stones and instructed me to pick out all the sterling and fine silver sheet metal, wire, etc that I would need to make the pieces she wants me to make. I was going to need to produce the pieces she wanted me to make with them. She's really awesome to me in ways like this by encouraging my interests and wants me to have what I need to improve my skills, so it is really nice to have this little hoard of materials to work with, and I'm excited to start working in my new home studio for the first time tomorrow.

Vapman by the bedside waiting if needed, but this peanut butter is working out fine.

----------------

Today was a learning day. I spent half my day working on setting a stone in a pendant for my wife, only to shatter the stone as I was checking the final fit.

kUb5kOv.jpg

After dinner, I decided to redeem myself and give another stone a chance. Worked out much better this time around.

One great thing about metalsmithing is that there are lots of times when I have three or five minutes to wait, and we all know what can be done in three to five minutes.

I'm still working on all that free 4/20 raffle winning weed, so it's a blend of Girl Scout cookies and two strains of Kush.

@ChippyMalone it's tough following your posts cause they are so informative and interesting! All I have to say is that I tried a small piece of 'dewaxed Starcloud' shatter in the Vapman - 2 screens, a small piece, then another screen, and it worked fine! And when I opened the unit up everything was gone. So I tried again, with a couple of larger pieces. The screens are still pretty sticky, but so is my brain, so we'll leave things where they are, and check it again in the morning.

PS - I love rat rods... one day I'll get ours moved home... as soon as we know where that is :)

But I like it!
So here's a story from last week when we were out househunting, and I was 'vapeless in Nelson' as the story goes... I wasn't planning on selling my INH05S, but someone was hounding me for it, so I figured the new INH6 is due out in awhile, and I have the MV, so it's all good. The day after I ship the 05 the MV dies, and we are going out of town to look at houses. So I start each morning, by going straight to the hotel lobby to let our dog play with the hotel owners dog, and then squirt 5 shots of tincture into my coffee. The owner says 'whats that?', I say 'medical marijuana, in tincture form'. Anyways his wife and the cleaner each got a few squirts in their coffee as well. That evening the owners wife says 'I think that was OK. I've never done it before. I couldn't really do anything tho. I watched TV, ate chips and played with the dog all day'. Bill had to do everything, but I feel so relaxed. Thanks' and gave me a big hug :)

So today I decide to heat the screens in the Vapman up and see if they'll separate. I can heat them up in the Vapman, right? Tasty - loads of goodness left yet... so sip on coffee (loaded with tincture), walk dog. Eat a muffin made with cocobudder... kinda small, lets have another! Oh, and an apple juice, with just a couple of squirts of tincture! Cloudy goodness! And maybe some brekkie. Now, where did I put that coffee? Oh, yes, up by the Vman! Hey - the screens are still stuck together... maybe I should heat them up? I can heat them up in the Vman! And it's still tasty! Where were we?
