The HI

To add to the little bit of discussion over the glass core hit power. I can say with out a doubt my glass core does not need any more power out all. I run it at 11.2-11.5 volts and it pushes massive clouds with full dark chocolate brown extraction. The glass cores certainly should not have a stigma for being light hitters.

Nice to read that, I always wanted a glass core for my first HI. Waiting since 2014's february, hope to be able to order soon...

Look's like we both got on the wait list around the same time, I'm sure we will be up in the next couple month's, I'm %100 on the glass core just not sure on the wood yet.

I thought they weren't all glass anymore. I thought they were considered hybrids.

They are the all glass get's too hot for the wood. I just like to tell myself i'm still getting a all glass one.

Lol ok I got ya. I was saying the same thing nd someone corrected me. I was just double checking. I'm grabbing both cores when I'm finally up sometime after August hopefully.

So any more news on the GTV? I'm always keen to see new iterations on the old tried and true log vape style and from what I've seen so far, this is a different beast.

Hey alan I need some glass tips for the wood/glass roasting tubes you sell. Mine decided to roll off the table while I was drunk the other night and shattered the glass.

My HI was purchased off the forums about the same time as I got on the list. Still not sure what I'm going to get, but a powered vvps sure looks like a neat toy for camping!

But I need tubes, or I'll be making some out of cardboard, and that won't be pretty. I miss having the shop right outside the door... soon enough...

Well to be honest, I was never on the list. I sent him a burned out PD and told him to fix it at his leisure.

My actual HI unit took over a year to get.

Alan turned mine about 3 weeks ago. Was on the list since August of 2013 so it was quite the wait. Last I heard he was getting help to move the process along quicker. I'll post pics soon but I gotta say the HI is unreal. Completely blew my expectations out of the water. I even went thru this thread twice before its arrival and it still exceeded everything I imagined. The HI is LEGIT and worth the wait. my name is back on the list and I can not wait to do it all over again.
