Rearding the 004 Error, I had it to some weeks ago but it vanished, never seen it again(maybe because I didn't do those heavy 210°C for 10minute sessions).

004 is covered by the warranty. Send it in and you probably get a brand new unit of the newer batches.

Hey Mrmrmrmr how long is it taking you to do 13miles? By yourself or with company? I only ask because I love a hike...
Yesterday it took about 3 and a half -4 hours. I was taking it slower then usual ,simply be use it was so beautiful out!!i always take my border collie with me so yes if that counts or company !glad to see a fellow hiker who also enjoys vaporizers
Edit
Same here @darkrom @JyARz rock !! I wish I had 160 to blow on a bunch of different jyarz

Great Scott!
So my spare cooling unit came in. Its unquestionably lighter than the one that came with my mighty. It also has the older darker gaskets :/ Kinda bummed its "older" and not as good as what they use now. It'll still be nice to have a spare, and I plan on rotating them so now I'll clean more often.

I'm also a fan of hiking with vapes. So far my longest is about 8 miles, but for someone with chronic pain sitting, standing, laying down etc for 4ish years now...thats not bad IMO!

For hikes or general "light travel" I GREATLY prefer a Jyarz full of pre-ground bud than I do the official loaders. I've dumped loaders out in my pocket and in my car door now. Never gunna happen with the jyarz. For more active and stealthy Jyarz win, but for casual stuff I like the loaders. The Jyarz filled with ground bud can easily fit 1/4 oz in one and seems to take less pocket space than one of the mighty disks.

thinking of sending my mighty in for service. it seems that i should be getting more out of my battery than i am. I think i clocked in at 70 minutes of use before i was left with 1 battery. And i think a full battery holds 90-100 minutes of use.

@MGG

It's just a bug from the software. Error 004 can be provoqued with empty batteries and a heavy draw over 30 seconds. The unit thinks it's not heating properly anymore and goes in error mode. at least it's the information from S&B, but your right what the manual says! Not a big deal anyway. Just be happy that you can return your unit anytime you want with the chance to get a brand new one. Best case you do this just before warranty voids. Couldn't be better for your case!

Pretty sure you're good. The Crafty is about 30 mins of life, and the Mighty double that.

Tried the filling tool again....completely different experience using the orange tamper. It worked well, but I still found filling the filling tool awkward and messy, and going to have to try some more!

Its not that difficult. I use a 3 piece SCS that is about the same size as the filling aid so I just shred and pour it in there. Done.

you think ? i dont see how its possible that my pax that has 1 battery, has the same life of a mighty which has 2.

What's your wattage? The mighty has a mighty 36 watts. You need power if you want a powerful vape. If your more delicate, or like sessions with wispy vapor, you don't need as much.(pax)

Ya but how do you pour it in without getting shit all over the place? I mean, without using a scoop or something
if your talking about into the filling tool (sorry if I'm wrong, I'm high as shit) the plastic cover (clear) lid for the grinder fits perfectly over the filling tool, so if I grind with the S&b grinder I just tap the material onto the lid and place the filling tool face down onto the lid, flip and it's done! (Gets most of it anyways) just my :2c:
my mighty got the dreaded "err4" :rip:
I've gotten that a few times mainly when I'm high temp vaping and I hit the bowl hard enough to make a drastic temperature drop, haven't sent it in yet though can't do without it
Am I alone in disliking the filling tool? Tried it out, made more of a mess than using my fingers alone. My preferred method is just to use a tiny little spoon. 3 scoops and a tamp and am good to go and squeaky clean.
To weigh in on the filling tool debate, I only use it when I'm inside or around the house, when I'm out and walking, I've had the lid pop off and gotten a pocket full of herb.
I like it because you can store your avb in it as well (if your into that)
When I'm out ninja style :ninja: i use a air-tight storage container that looks like a hi - lighter and a blow dart needle that fits perfectly in it to break and scoop...the form factor is amazing:love:

Thanks @t-dub ... I did as you said, then flipped the clear plastic cylinder that filled up with herb over the hole and was good to go. Still overflowed the filling tool from my 2.5" grinder. In the end, I revise my stance on the tool, it's decent forsure, but it's still 1 or 2 steps more than what I was doing before and I think i'll probably just stick to a little spoon and the plastic tamper.

Just loving how fast this bad boy charges up! Looking into the Plenty to ease the battery strain on the Mighty when using it heavy.

@Michel - I wanted to let you guys know that I tested my new Mighty and it does not perform the way my old one did which led me to believe there was some kind of battery/power management going on. My new Mighty definitely has a smooth decline in power, much different than my original.

Are many of you having the vibration glitch where it doesn't vibrate when it hits the set temp? Not very often, but it happens.

Just wanted to add, since i've been using the Mighty and sold my LSV, i'm finding i'm using way less material! Maybe because it's more of a session vape, and every bowl is basically the same, or because it's not plugged in and ready to go? I dunno, but i'm noticing all my glass doesn't need cleaning! I also use the glass way less too since the Mighty is so damn smooth.

Has anyone had the problem where their screen goes out??randy told me to send it back to him and they would handle my return because I bought it thru puff it up..it works like a champion but now almost every session at some point my screen completely dims to nothing..the other day when I turned it on it vibrate and I couldn't tell if it was on or not? Nothing on the screen..but if I tilted it I could see outlines and temp was changing as I changed buttons etc..but usually when I go to change temp the screen goes in and out and it's probably gonna get worse..battery life is great so I guess I'm gonna have to ship her back.

Probably just convection vs. conduction. The amount of heated air is way bigger with the mighty. More airflow needs more power to stabilize temps.

@biohacker , my unit often doesn't vibrate when batteries are weak. S&B is aware of this problem. They told me they're going to change the 2 -point-controller in a simple controller like the crafty has one to let the temp always overshoot slightly. This overshoot causes vibration (0,5'C are needed to cause vibration). Seems like this still wasn't implemented with your new device.
I asked them why they don't simply let the mighty vibrate 0,5 degrees before attempting temperature, but this isn't the way german engineers like to work apparently. They prefer to implement a new software in the future. I guess this could happen with a slightly adapted housing to prevent the top fins from breaking finally?
Could be I'm wrong since @t-dub unit is vibrating so far. Perhaps you could test vibration a few times on empty batteries? My first unit was 2,000, my second unit is 12,000. I noticed a slightly decline in performance, too! Is it possible the behavior of our old units was caused by batterie (ab-)use and our new mightys with new batts are better than the old ones?
Just thinking loud because my crafty with 110h on it has a heavy performance drop! (drastically increased Heat-up-times and difficulties with keeping temperature even if I draw really slow).

I think I need a working desktop to prevent the mighty from constant abuse... "Sadly" the mighty is more powerful, imo, than most desktops I know so far!

how long does it take your crafty to warmup to 180c on an empty bowl. What about your Mighty? at 34 hours, my Crafty takes 2:45 which is far from the 1:45 when it only had 4 hours. My Mighty(s) are about 1:11 I think to 180c on empty and i'm keeping an eye on any performance drop there, although I won't be obviously able to track hours on the Mighty's.

oh my mofoing god. I just took the CU apart which has never been cleaned 100%, just scraped out from time to time. So I get out some blackish dark ABV crumbs + scooping off some sticky resin and filling mighty with it, oil pad on top and start vaping at 204°C. I had to stop drawing after 4-5 seconds, so fuking huge clouds. 5 small draws and I'm set for hours. I don't know how this affects my tolerance but I effeciently paid 0€ for this high. (Apart from the Mighty itself because of the batterie life and the electricity to load the mighty)

Actual daily usage: 0.364g

@biohacker: Mighty is such a fucking beast when it comes to charging time and heating time. The times I have to wait for a cold volcano to go level 6 (If I ever knew I should have started at 4, saved me CBD and a lot of "painful" waiting time ) I am basically done with the mighty in that timeframe if using the 1 Puff method.
