Poor man's Evo for clouds perhaps (although that was a pretty darn big 2nd cloud on the VAP3 video) but I doubt it will be the poor man's version of any vaporizer when it comes to flavor.

I don't subscribe to the "poor man's" theory whatsoever. Sometimes you don't get what you pay for. I much prefer my LSV for bubbler use over the EVO, even using VXL's own ELBs in the LSV, and it's less than 1/2 the cost of the EVO. My LSV is also much more durable, and has a better warranty. Sometimes paying more for a product is just a sign of an immature company.

I really do look forward to the VAP3! I am still considering the VAP2 based on being able to mate it with a HT!

So I hooked up my bong to the vap2 and got pretty big clouds but also a minor headache. Could this be because of the restricted air flow/lack of oxygen while toking? I'm thinking of making a tiny carb in the whip to help with this.

If it's not a great idea I don't mind just using the aiwb. def the choice for top flavour anyways.

for a carb on the whip if you can add a Vapor barrel instead of the bong, it gives really big cool hits easily and also helps greatly with the draw for me, my favorite.

Tonight it was a sweet evening with the aiwb and some no-name orangie/lemony goodness.

still lovin' my vapo and if i don't get to use it for a week or two the taste still just blows me fucking away and i end up doing a few stems more then i set out to every time ... and never regret it in the least.

:smug: (warm weather = vapolution time for me)

Last night Hooked up to orbiter from magic flight cranked the heat to 2 o'clock and just had a wonderful session of just one pellet.
The taste came right on through all of the tubing and water.
Just a relaxed easy vaping experience.

@vapirtoo did the orbiter make a big difference? Is it as big of a difference as when it's hit though a bong? I'm looking at getting one for my Q...

The orbiter is kind of small and still does a great job diffusing , scrubbing and humidifying the vapor with minimal taste reduction.
As far as bong comparison , the only bong like hook up I have would be the Daisy, and the hit would be smooth but kind of wild. the orbiter gives you a range of cold water to hot water hits while bongs can't?
The orbiter also gives you great views of the vapor being diffused and bubbling up through the water. I often use
red zinger tea, the contrast of white vapor bubbling through a red liquid is cool. I have also used red wine to great effect .

I know it's designed to sit flat but I always hold it upside down when connecting it to my bong (or sideways when I used the aiwb) for fear of the bud falling in. This allowed me to use shake also. Surely I'm not the only one who does this :^)

I've never tried that, but to each his own!

But please...

Just Curious but a friend of mine has this vape (IMO its a fairly generous thing to call it), but I own an EVO, is there any good reason why anyone would use the Vapolution 2.0 over an EVO?

IMHO this is a terrible "vape" and is much more suited as some kind of over-sized electric pipe. when I have had the displeasure of using the thing its temp dial varied from home plug to car adapter. With the quality and consistency of newer desktop, and even portable, vaporizers why would anyone choose this cheapo plastic "vape"?

The MFLB or solo are within reasonable price range of this product, and i would argue those two are streets ahead of the Vapolution in every category; Vapor quality, Heating time, ease of use (this thing uses a glass straw with a poked glass "screen" which requires you to have nugs instead if finely ground material which would increase vaporizing efficiency). I don't exactly know how this vape compares to others, but the price of this vape is absolutely crazy, with the level of other products out there that do its job a million times better and faster.

Um, amazing taste from this vape, and I'll call it a vape, because it vaporizes. Pellets are usually vaped pretty evenly and its worth every penny of $100. Sorry you didn't like it, but I like it more than the solo. Plastic housing doesn't make it cheap, and I don't know why it would be an electric pipe, I have NEVER combusted using a Vapo2.

Good luck finding something you like, we all have our own preferences.

For me as medical patient I love the vap2. The EVO I would get if I could handle it?
I use a herb iron for extreme medication. The VAP 2 taste really good.
Even if I aquire an EVO I will always keep a VAP2 in my quiver!
Maybe its just the setup that my friend has, its just a straight glass tube with the little pinch for vaping a nug, and then a gunked up plastic tube which tastes like it has combusted. Maybe with much more extensive use and proper maintenance the Vap2 could win me over, but the one my friend has is pretty shit. I did have a look at the newer Vap3 which looks like a massive improvement over the Vap2 IMO because of the small glass test tube the stem is inserted to instead of a metal heater at the bottom.

And I'm sorry if I offended you with my opinion of the Vap2, like i said above I used my friends, and he really didn't take very good care of it, and the whip is not silicone, but instead a harder plastic tube with tons of nasty shit built up. I would also guess that I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to Vaping, and I've only ever owned a Solo, and now my EVO. both I would still argue are superior, but as you said we all have our preferences.
