Had one from him for my solo, really wasn't my cup of tea.Ended up selling it in the classifieds and having joda make me a taller gong.Something about having to cover the carb reminds me of my teenage bonghit days.(Which isn't a bad thing) Considering im 52 I feel lucky to remember back to the mid 70's

Funny, that's the exact reason I like mine so much. Homemade bongs from Honey Bear jars or pipes from Coke cans growing up.

Also, if anyone has any experience with the nano and crumble it would be appreciated. I ended up sandwiching a bit between some flower last night (2 pinhead sized pieces) and it worked okay. I have a torch on the way, but it feels a bit too combustiony for me. If it's not efficient in the nano I'll stick to the torch.

Thanks @Snappo, will do. @SSVUN~YAH offered the same advice yesterday, so it looks like this works for a few of you.

I'm assuming I'd load less flower than a normal load, correct?

Also, is this method wasteful compared to just straight up dabbing? No biggie if it is, I just hate waste if I can avoid it.
Higher temp, less herb, no waste, nice dab!

The nail can be more wasteful if your overheating or taking too large of a dab. The Nano may not completely extract but if you dial it in it could be more efficient. If you get your nail heated just right and your nano just right it could be very close, just depends on your usage. Also more work with Nano but less danger too!

Very good @SSVUN~YAH. I was worried about the danger factor due to me being clutzy as well as a recreational user that enjoys a good IPA with my sessions (not a good combo with a torch).

On a side note, I've recently been infusing Coconut Oil with my ABV and then baking with it. So even if some of the crumble is not fully extracted, chances are good that I will extract it later when I infuse. So yeah, I'm liking the nano route with the exception that I will be mixing some strains.

Got the nano loaded up with some Jack the Ripper. A good medicine they said for during the day. Works during the day in moderation only I'm finding out. This hits harder than the Solo.

The bees wax is a nice tip. Where else are you going to learn about that stuff. There's a lot to learn in the vaporizing world.

Other than the few minor issues (in my eyes) that stand is awesome. Great quality, CNC work is impressive and it weighs a TON. And looks great

@ACE OF VAPE would it be costly or annoying to add a slot for an epik? And maybe some soft insulation inside the spot for the nano? And maybe larger holes to fit with stems with silicone tubing? As it is right now I have to slide my tubing up pretty high for it to fit. Would make it perfect

Here she is loaded up

I go where the thrills are
During the 70's we had trees 8 feet tall.
One ounce was $15!

We kept the cola and used the leaves to keep our slippers clean.
Zigzags were in vogue.

I remember 20 dollar ounces in 1976. It was a huge deal when prices doubled to 40 in 1978 when I entered college. These days you couldn't give me a bag of that crap we happily combusted during the Carter administration.

Back on topic, enjoying some Mango in the Nano this afternoon. I still rate the Nano as the most reliable, satisfying vape I've used yet. Every time, no effort, no stress....just pure lovely vapor.

Are you talking about the joint inside the squeeze bottle with a carb hole cut in the side so that it squirts out a stream of smoke when your squeeze it?

Yup. As nasty as it seems, it was relatively safe compared with what kids are doing nowdays, like synthetic mj, yuk! At least today's young stoner have options that my generation never dreamed about. Yea technology !

I've been using a medium grind. I tried little nuggets I didn't like that technique as well. I thought I got more bang for the buck with grinding. I know everyone has their favorite way. I'm still learning from others. Lovin all the tips. I've read through about 50% of the tread. It's always good to get a refresher to jolt the memory.

You use less herb and a shorter session to get the same results. I love the Solo 's flavor and still use it. But love the flavor of the Nano too. The Nano I've been using more than my other vaporizers. It's always that way with a new vaporizer, I'm still having my honeymoon.:love:Lovin the Nano's flavor.

I lived in Hawaii.
We had better than the mainland.
Today I settle for GSC.
I still prefer ounces as it's getting cheaper.

Regarding the crumble sandwich experience, wow. That knocked me off my feet.I did it 6 hours ago and just woke up from a 2 hour nap and am still a bit out of it. Probably not going to do this too often, but very nice knowing I can push it to the level it hit me (11).

I put a small layer of flower in the GonG, then 2 half-BB sized and flattened bits of crumble, lastly a small layer of flower. Heat soaked for 15-20 seconds at 8. I took 3 very strong hits, and 15 minutes later I am messed up. Extremely messed up. Played a video game for a few hours, realized I couldn't function for the most part, so took a nap.

The GonG load is pretty black from the higher temperatures, but I still think there is enough for 2 or three hits if I stir it. Just not sure that I am going to do it tonight, so may set it aside for later.

Very different experience from normal nano use. Will most definitely be adding this to the rotation, but it will be on rare occasions or with half the amount of crumble next time.

Very impressed with the potency of what is out there, brave new world and all that.

I've been using the Herbalizer aroma liquid pads in the nano gong. They fit perfect! I put a little shatter or crumble on there. Maybe .025-.05g.

http://www.herbalizer.com/products/2-pack-aromapads?variant=1096362288

I turn the nano all the way up, let it heat up for about 10 minutes. If I already have it heated to 6.5 then I turn it all the way up and wait about 3-5 minutes. I turn it back down to 6.5 after I take my couple hits.

I put the liquid pad about 1 cm away from the heating element.

Let it heat soak for about 5 seconds then get a huge hit! Very tasty. Completely different than dabbing on a nail.

EDIT: thanks @SSVUN~YAH. Glad to know its bad to run it turned all the way up for too long!
