RezBlock /Cranberry Extract

Assuming its safe, would you vape through anything other than water if it offered some benefit?

Simple Green violates my low environmental footprint requirement when it goes down the drain. Its an alcohol based product. PBW actually puts oxygen back into the water, which is good for it, so its responsible going down the drain. Simple green is also bulky to store and expensive. But it does work.

I tried using a big bucket of PBW but then so many floaties (emulsified vapor boogers) keep floating to the top. Plus I feel that PBW is much more caustic to my skin than Simply Green.

Not going to derail my thread further but PBW advertises that it is safe and easy on skin. I preach caution because of my psoriasis, you never know what people's individual situation is. The goobers will be disolved/oxidized by the oxygen component.

Wow, that infrequent. I unfortunately get small bits beyond my screens and therefore into my water, so I reckon I'm forced into frequent water changes. One day I'll have a different vape and perhaps such a slack routine.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I change my water every 3 days when using NACE. I clean my glass very rarely these days because CE works so well

PBW safe on skin???
My PBW came with first aid warning slip:
First aid: For contact with skin and eyes, flush thoroughly with cool running water. For eyes, flush for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention. If swallowed....
Caution:...do not use on teflon coated items, ....

I probably used with bare hands until I finally read the warning so now I use latex type gloves.
Maybe the warning is meant more for the eyes but I'm playing it safe.

I was using PBW barehanded until I noticed that I was getting little pockmarks on my palms afterward. (I have fairly sensitive skin) Now I just sprinkle a bit into my cleaning pan and let it do it's thing as opposed to reaching in and agitating the submerged pieces.
I picked up some new glass recently that for some reason, I can't nail the cranberry/citric acid combo on. No matter how much citric acid goes in, within a couple of days I got grossness going on. It has turned me off from using it a bit because of how quickly it fouls. Meanwhile, I got my new bubblers and those things hold less than half the water but never seem to get *that* dirty. I guess if I wanted to try actual RezBlock, I'd use it here.

You mean as opposed to flavoring or something? Yes, the idea is to reduce the necessary cleaning. The Rezblock or other Cranberry Extract product (NACE or BCCE) reduces the tendency for vapor to stick to the glass. WAY easier to keep the glass clean.

Way back in page 30 silver was mentioned. Has anyone here used colloidal silver? It's "easily" homemade but otherwise available online. Running electricity through silver creates it. Maybe a few drops in it would would, certainly couldn't hurt, it's used in treating conditions "including emphysema and bronchitis" according to WEbMd :)

......and then, you have a mineral buildup on your glass.

Yup. Tried CS. Decided that it wasn't effective for the purpose.

Is this the correct NACE? Did they change packaging? I purchased from Web Vitamins from this link

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0011DL4AU/ref=pd_luc_rh_sim_01_01_t_ttl_lh?ie=UTF8&psc=1

10,000mg in a bottle @ 1500mg a dose everything else is the same

From Natures Answers

Thank you for your inquiry.
We are conforming to all new FDA label rules/regulations and phasing in the new/updated labels with forthcoming production batches.
Each naturally-sourced nutritional ingredient (including Cranberry) has different characteristics and specific label regulations for dosage, quantitative amounts, etc associated with each.
There are recently-enacted restrictions about ingredients, herbal extract equivalents and standardization claims.
We used to display herbal and whole food nutrient equivalents of our hi-concentration extracts.
Now, there are limitations about including ratios and standardization details on certain natural ingredients, herbs and botanicals.
We appreciate your interest in Nature's Answer products and thank you for the opportunity to serve you.

I think they did change the label, because some places have it advertised with the other one, but ship it with this label instead. 3-4 drops should be enough to get the effects. If you rinse the piece with hot water between uses, it'll stay shiny and clean for a long time. An iso wash every few days is always useful for sterilization purposes, and to really clean the neck and intake joint areas.

As for using Colloidal Silver in the water, how long are you guys letting it sit before being changed and rinsed? The avb taste from used water doesn't bother you?

Be careful not all colloidal silver is the same. I was using a silver hydrosol, expensive but didn't have the problems others have stated. Citric acid is a great way to go. Its cheap and easily available at your home brew supply store so you can get some PBW while you are there . . . :)

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is Sovereign Silver referred to as a Silver Hydrosol, and what differentiates it from Colloidal Silver, Ionic Silver and other silver supplements?

Over the past two decades, the term “colloidal silver” has been dramatically polluted by manufacturers that produce (knowingly or unknowingly) silver products contaminated by the presence of salts, proteins, compounds, stabilizers, and oxidation – all of which serve to degrade and diminish the bio-activity of the silver, and render it potentially toxic.

A Bio-Active Silver Hydrosol™, such as Sovereign Silver or Argentyn 23, represents the ultimate refinement and purity of the colloidal silver category. It is the suspension of a high content (>98%) of ultra-fine, positively charged silver ions (Ag+) in only pharmaceutical-grade purified water. The positively charged silver ions (cations) and particles in a Bio-Active Silver Hydrosol™ remain in suspension, maintaining their fully active state for use within the body.

I've been putting a few grains of citric acid (using Natural Down - a ph balancer for hydroponics. It's pure citric acid, go figure) in my little bubbler with every cleaning...

I've gone two weeks between cleanings, and NO ghostly floaters! it's icky, so I am back to weekly rinsings/PBW as needed, but I proved to myself that making it acidic in there helps a great deal.

I use ONE drop of cranberry extract (Natures.... etc.), and I'm really happy with the results! :)

I still only use distilled water to rinse & fill, and when I fill, I then plug the holes again, and shake it around so that there is a base layer of it on the inner glass. I think that helps.

This is my exact routine, except I use Now citric acid. I was a skeptic at first, but the results made a true believer out of me.
