They do seem to include screens and it appears that particular adapter is sized rather well (not much space between the joints, and they are not full-length tapered joints (meaning an elbow screen or even an ELB will fit in a male piece and still fit in the adapter).

If it meets the requirements, that price is a hell of a deal compared to my LHS and then not knowing if it will fit until I try... They acknowledged FC and DDave, so why not toss them some business? :)

Why not, indeed. I gladly ordered from them.

Ordered DDA # 4. $8 shipped...looks like the other two I've broken, not the larger middle one that I just sent back for a refund, let's hope the DDTTH (test tube holder) keeps me from breaking one ever again. Fingers crossed it's what I want...because the Cyclone bowl do sucketh canal water.
Not as nice as the one mentioned above (good find!), but I'll live with a little longer glass space above and below the middle for less than half the cost. They work well enough fer moi.

This arrived today. Took it out of the box...and it seems on the inside a piece of something (plastic?) broke off. It's rattling around...and deep inside, near the fan. Anybody else have this happen? I'm not sure it's a great idea to use. Totally bummed out, was really looking forward to using it...

I would take off the 4 screws under the rubber feet and see what falls off, or just call them off directly for warranty

I got my DVB wand today.. Works well but I still need to track down a screen for the F/F adapter. Right now I just have the flower in the ground end of the wand with a Extreme Q elbow screen holding it in.

Sorry for the white boxes, I took the pics then realized I had some stuff written down there I didn't want the world to see :)

The bubbler is from an oil rig. I tried concentrates once and I'll admit, they were too much for me.. Dabs just got me a bit too wee todd id.

One thing I learned here when sterilizing my new wand and tube at 260* C is that the tube that comes with the Extreme Q works much better at not kinking under heat than the piece of tubing that came with my wand.

If anyone is having kink problems I recommend trying the hose from the extreme. I find it's just stiff enough to hold it's shape.

I'd like to see some pics of other people's Extreme setups if they don't mind sharing..

Cheers

EDIT: I hope I got the pics uploaded correctly now.. Thanks for your patience!:leaf:

If one of the mods could rotate my last pic for me I would appreciate it. I don't know how it got messed up and I tried to edit and rotate and save but it wouldn't work.

Hi everyone!

I have an Arizer V tower and I want to connect it to a 18/19mm bubbler.

I was wondering if I could use this part http://www.vaposhop.com/vaporizer_accessoires/vaporizer-parts/arizer_elbow/ to attach the other side of the whip to, and plug it in a 18/19mm bubbler?

Thanks!

If your bubbler is 18/19mm that piece should work fine.

My bubbler in the pic above is 14mm and what I did was just cut the end with the glass mouth piece and push the tube on the glass side of the mouth piece and put the side with the small piece of cut hose on it into the 14mm end of the bubbler. Works well.

BTW for Canadian fellas, http://agracan.ca/ have a very nice sale for Extreme Q, Air and Solo vaporizers. I got my Q from them for 167$ CDN and it was the lowest price available anywhere. It's 145$ on sale, solo is 129$ and Air is 159$.

Thanks, that's some good prices! Extreme Q seems to have dropped big time lately.. When I bought mine from Toronto Vaporizer they were $269+ tax everywhere else and I thought I got a deal for $202 shipping and tax included..

I just bought a Zeus Smite, but I think the wife has claimed it. I may have to pick up a Arizer Solo for myself when I'm out and about..

Hey everyone, been lurkin' for a bit and thought I'd post my set up.

I've never seen anyone use the EQ with a m/m and a female gong adapter. I really prefer it because you can clear the whole whip when you're done your hit. I guess it only works well if your closer to the unit.

I haven't made the jump to get the SSV wand. I don't know if it would be necessary for me. Is the quantity you put in it the point, or is it just more consistent? Does it hit the same with a elbow screen? The m/m adapter from the d020 has a huge bore hole. I find it hits way harder than a regular elbows with little to no resistance.

I've suggested it to a few people, but not sure if it's been tried. Like you state, they are free with a bubbler from DHgate.

Where are you placing the screens? One thing I worry is that the m/m adapters aren't consistently the same size so they all don't fit a EQ elbow screen.

The SSV wand narrows to a point where the GG ends, lending a place to dome your screen. That and the EQ elbows always seem to fit, so the ID of the SSV is always consistent. But they do have a choke point, not sure if that is a benefit or not.

Edit: Not sure what happened with your image
Just ask, I'll delete it if you want.

Yeah the dome screen fits perfectly in the m/m for me, i think i fixed my picture but thank you :)

cwheezy, what about the part that plugs in your bubbler, where is it from?

Thanks

Its the cloud gong whip from planet vape right here,

I'm still waiting to track down a screen for my f/f adapter, but when I do I will most likely dump my flower in the f/f adapter to get it closer to the heater. At this point I think it will work best because there will also be more surface area and I'll also be able to watch the flower move around between the screen in the adapter and the screen in the wand (I won't use the elbow screen in the adapter).

I think the above method would work best when you want to share or fill bags, but for a few hits I packed the end of the wand loosely and put the elbow screen in and it worked well.

I'm still experimenting with my set up but definitely do like it more than using it with just the factory whip.

Chweezy where do you put the flower in your set up?

Hmm.. I just took a look at planetvape.ca and I was wondering how the Herbalizer GonG 18mm Male balloon adapter (http://www.planetvape.ca/herbalizer-balloon-bag-gong-adapter.html) would work with Arizer EQ with F/F with screen (or cyclone) and elbow screen in the adapter. I like the look of the Herbalizer bags (http://www.planetvape.ca/herbalizer-squeezevalve-balloons-4pack.html) with squeeze valve. I think this would be a slick setup for bags.. I wonder if the valve is reusable and if it can be bought separately..

Anyone using these bags with the squeeze valve?

The point of using the wand (or IIRC the DDave mod, essentially the same thing? - it's been a while seen I looked at this) is to get the herb closer and more totally exposed to the heater airflow. The original Q design concept was that with the elbow screen creating back-pressure, the herb would circulate (the "cyclone" effect) which mitigates the Q's narrow airflow. That design was never terrific (although good for its time). And the 90 degree turn/narrow bore of the elbow added restriction. (Better for bags, IMO.) The wand in a way is like an elbow-pack set much closer to the heater. Add to that a straight and wider airpath and you get a much bigger hit. I can see why your setup would perform better than stock, but I think the wand mod might be even better.

Clearing the whip was something I always didn't care for with the Q, besides the drag it adds. I shortened my whip as much as possible, and preferred glass that facilitated that.
