Haven't they stated somewhere it can be used whilst charging or am I mistaken? Not so sure on the 2nd part of your question. I'd imagine it will be fine, or else it defeats the answer to the first question ;)
If the user is gonna use it as a home vape as well, then an issue might arise if it discharges more energy in use whilst charging. Whereas if it just to be used as a stand alone out n about portable then the charging in my eyes isn't a problem especially if spare batteries have been purchased. They are however ramping up the charging time so it takes approx 60mins to achieve full charge. Let's hope it doesn't drain faster than it charges!

I for one am glad they are doing this, even tho in the eyes many here they mustn't have embarked. Well I'll ask you all this: who else is even doing something similar as such? If it was so easy, wouldnt the established players (if there is such a thing in this market) have already done so?? Afterall, its the closest thing to an ideal portable seen so far, especially after danks videos! I for one am glad that they are trying, and thanks to the pessimism here, I'm going right now over to their site, to buy a TI GH, to show support in the best way possible!

You are quite welcome! Snappo's the name, devil's advocate my game - particularly when a heavy dose of perspective is called for, at least in my estimation of things. I believe that I understand both sides fairly well, and can genuinely grant a good measure of justification for each. It was amply evident at the start that the GH business acumen was fresh and green, with update word choice and phraseology crafted to ongoingly orchestrate optimism, admittedly overstated at times, but I believe completely forgivable nonetheless - that's how "green" marketing by "green" marketers goes. A seasoned business person and wise consumer takes all such things into account and tempers expectations accordingly and realistically, and avoids the petty non-productive trap of chronic complaint, discontent, buyer's remorse, and finger pointing (usually in the wrong direction). In situations such as presented by our GH experience, a grain of salt, a dash of herb, and a hefty dose of perspective will go far to ensure personal growth, fairness, and ultimate satisfaction for all concerned.

Could be ...I don't know. If getting high while on the job is part of their work ethic, so be it. Whatever they're doing seems to be working. Maybe not to everyone's satisfaction or expectation, but that goes with the territory.

I don't know, man, I didn't realize the units weren't even made yet when I ordered. Maybe that's just me being a lazy consumer, but my assumption was that they did one campaign (with success) and were on #2 now. I wasn't able to get in on the first campaign, which is what led me to my assumption after getting a note that I could order (in Jan). I mean, this thread started almost two years ago, and only one unit has been reviewed. Eeks. Dude hit the nail on the head, good engineers, maybe not so much on the business planning end.

Now, would that have stopped me from ordering two when I had the chance, probably not. I mean, this isn't life or death here. If I get $300 ripped from me, oh well, there's worse things in life. Live and learn.
I know one thing I did learn, I can stop checking the mail for packages first thing after I get home from work anymore :shrug:

Not trying to sound like a pessimist, although it kind of reads like that. Looking forward to June!

I remember reading about the ti actually being a sheathing?
If so, it would have to increase the diameter. I did try and compensate for optical illusions.

I don't think it's just a sheathing, because they say the ti version is lighter than the ss version. That said, I can't find the weights on their website now, and they say it's a 100% titanium exterior so now I'm wondering about it myself.

I thought I read them mentioning it was something like 30% lighter though, which makes me think it is in fact a titanium body, and not just a sheathing.

I paid for titanium so I hope I'm getting titanium.

I believe I read somewhere that it is lighter as well, but I couldn't speak as to where I think I heard it. I think at worst they'll be the same size and probably close enough in weight that you can't tell without measuring them. Even if it was a little heavier, it's still one of the lightest vapes out there...

Edit: Well, -not- out there at the moment, but you get what I'm saying.

I guess at least they have learned to stop throwing out shipping dates that they have no clue if they will be able to hit. Still is pretty worrisome to me that they still dont have the heaters. It is one of the most important parts of a vaporizer and it seems like they are having a ton of trouble getting them made. I mean here where over a year past original ship date and still no heaters lol.

How exactly is it "starting to get" phallic when nothing's changed, form-factor-wise, in over a year?

It seems like people sometimes post here merely to pile on, having little to no support by way of facts or evidence. Speculation is awesome when it's based on (at least some) facts and (much) logic. By contrast, in this forum, it very much seems as if certain members want to see this thing fail. Why? Criticism can actually be constructive, but complaining for complaining's sake never is. Ever. The best is the belly-achers who admit they have no skin in the game. That's like going on Amazon and giving a review for a product you've never seen, let alone used. Maybe the mods could split this forum into supporters and detractors and kick out the belly-achers.
