If you're moving on, what are you keeping for a backup? even when I wasn't using the LSV much, I considered it the most reliable and best backup around. It doesnt matter what vape is my favorite at the moment, the LSV's performance is never far from it, and it's durable, cheap to buy and cheap to fix.

Especially when you are into water like us.

just got my LSV and took my first hit with the long stem, this thing is amazing and exactly what I was looking for.

What steps do you guys take to dump a spent load and pack another one?

What I did was:

-turn on unit on max for 5 mins
-suck up some flowers
-connect long stem to HC
-bring back the dial to around 3 o'clock
-suck till no vapour (a few stirs with the pick in between hits)
-dump ABV
-brush the screen above the HC (i knew it was a bad idea to use my crafty brush lol. it stank of melting plastic for a whiff :\ lol )

how do I keep the screen on the HC clean?

The wand cleans up real well with an ISO swish and rinse followed by a water rinse. most times the screen comes out fairly clean too in the process. However some folks dump the wand and go for a 18mm M2M and a ELB fairly quickly after purchase. Its makes for an easier to manage, adjust and clean arrangement.
The heater cover (at least mine) can be a bear to clean after a while it gets a light brownish haze that wont easily scrub off with ISO, however the stain doesn’t seem to bother the taste or function so I ignore it and go with the same ISO and water wash I use for the rest of the glass with no problem. Enjoy

can you combust with the long stem?
I tried to push it to see it's limits but couldn't come close, my abv was not dark at all. I turned the knob to max and waited 30 secs before pulling.

An issue for me though is the cost of these...they aren't $5 a pop like a M2M, and i tend to have the occasional glass slip up here and there from time to time...rare, but it happens, and I can't find the WPA for less than approx $40 shipped.

You can buy the WPA adapters on VaporNation for about $20. They even have a 420 discount still running for 20% off that.

@Yoosh , thanks brah, my WPA has been in transit and should be here any day now, including a few other accessories for my new toy :D

I'm blown away by how the tamer works. I connect my short stem to the HC and when I pull it's warm air. When I go through the tamer and pull it's cold air. Almost like its coming from an AC unit. It's fascinating.

@lwien, ok, gonna try that now, thanks!

Was your vapors hot when turned that high? Can you here your HC whistle when pulling hard?

Wow, so tempting. I could get another LSV HC + WPA for only $36 shipped, awesome. Must resist.

If only they could guarantee me a small inlet hole, hate to waste the $, that's another bubbler, :p.

here is my ABV, abused at 3 o'clock for 10 sec pulls. it's much lighter than my crafty ABV but similar to my volcano 8.5 on the dial ABV. I included my starbucks plunger for colour reference. no where near combustion, right?

Just for reference, the white paper (it is white correct?) helps a ton too, :D. Looks like you nailed the White balance.

How big is your intake hole on your LSV cover?

I just changed my lsv hc out for a standard ssv hc, the intake holes are the same size ~3/16"
Copying you with a joda stem btw, it works really well

I use my SSV GonG's as little stems/wands too. 2" of glass between my mouth and the load, straight blast of vapors, :D. Do you use the JoDa stem w/o whip? It's actually easier than I thought it would be, holding the LSV up to the stem/mouth.

I tried to convince some EQ users into try the nano GonGs, that would make the EQ quite effecient, :). Don't think anyone has tried it though. My buddy has an EQ but won't let me borrow it, ugh.

I think this is the densest vapor I've experienced with the lsv. It's also the most efficiency I can stand, the mini wand and log stem hits are too small to be satisfying for me. This is my lsv setup atm:

This load's a little scorched, it's from before I dialed it in. Unlike my ssv I can get the heating element quite close to the top of the hc, so I am running very efficiently around 11:30am now. I also really like how well I can see the vapor forming through the joda stem with this rig. I'm enjoying this setup quite a bit!

I think we have a new addition to my favorite rigs here

that's going in my sig

Go for it! lol How is your rekindled love going for the LSV? I've been starstruck by the Mighty but busted out the LSV last night with the M2M for some makeup sex and it blew me away! I quickly forgot what true convection and completely open airflow were like! I love the Mighty, but the LSV was doing things to me that the Mighty just can't do.

There is something about my ritual with the LSV that I just can't explain.. i'm not ready to let go, and I don't know what I was thinking.....must be that dirty fucking Mighty whore, I was in a Mighty Stupor (ala rob ford)!!! *sneaks away to pull ad down* :D

I'm the same way, the mini never did it for me. Looks like you got a 11 or 12mm GonG, nice? My two newest ones are bigger than my original one, I prefer them much more. What a difference only 1mm makes.

Loving the matching colors,. My SSV HC is pretty bleh.
Yes I asked for a larger one than yours. I want to try a still-bigger one so I can avoid the basket screen, which I am not that fond of. But I am really liking this setup, thanks again :D

Almost there...
Second session for the night and i brought out the LSV!
Let her heat up at 11 for a good long time!
Long transfer wand, fresh ground bud of the Afghani Headband variety!
Holy smooth hits!!!
Super dense vapour with such ease!
ABV was dark tan which is fine for me!
I could have gone a bit more as the flavour was still perfect but i was too far medicated...

I love discovering hidden gems! (that are actually right in front of you...)
