What to do with really bad weed?

Hi,
I got some really bad weed today from my friend, who got it from another friend (I don't know him).
Usually the stash of this guy is pretty good, nice buds, hopefully no cutting agents (which I can't recognize), but this time there are a lot of small stem parts and shit like this inside the baggy.

What can I do now with this stuff?
My friends (who smoked it) said it's as good as the stuff we usually get, but I just can't believe this. Maybe it's the stuff, which remains in the big baggy, so it consists on the one hand of worthless parts, but on the other hand of a lot of kief. I just can't estimate the quality of this stuff, it looks like the worst shit I ever had, but I haven't tested it yet.

Would it be smart to make QWISO hash out of it? I don't really want to do this, because I have very bad equipment for it (for some reason I can't get better equipment). I mean for ABV it's enough (I usually eat the ABV hash), but for vapeable stuff it will most likely soak in too long. Moreover I have pretty bad experiences with vaping QWISO ABV hash in my Launch Box.

Yeah, I wouldn't vape this stuff, but I think I can get a decent amount of THC out of it, because the smallest parts look pretty good.

I would just pick out the stems and fibers and vape the rest.

I'd grind it up fine after removing the big wood and vape it. When i first started vaporizing all I could buy was woody seedy brick weed and vaping it was a whole lot better then smoking it or doing without.

Sometimes the shit weed will surprise and amaze you. I have had my share of low quality cannabis over the years. Not lately because I'm fortunate enough to be able to use a dispensary and before that the black market had improved tremendously in WA state over the last 5 years.

Pick through it and use any buds first and maybe you will find some quality elsewhere in a week or so. Also checkout the legal tinctures on FC. Some folks are able to vape that. Maybe you could combine the two with some cotton? Or use the tincture the traditional way under the tongue.

Don't ever judge bud on looks alone friend. Unless it is slimy.

Apart from all that stem it looks alright, worst case the stem may be some sort of weight filler. Pick out the stem and maybe try make whatever QWISO you can from it if there is enough. Or start saving your stems for QWISO, it is a good, patient habit

While you get many high grade grows of Durban Poison (which I also love, it is my favorite strain), in my personal opinion, you really can't beat the high of the landrace that is grown in the sun of SA. It is felt almost completely in the head with zero bodyload, and it feels amazingly creative, clean, natural and cerebral. Many other landrace strains are also brilliant to smoke and I would sometimes prefer them over high grade.

However, If you have been smoking A+++&%£%%"!!! for a while before it, you may have to start off slow for a few days while your tolerance adjusts

In the first picture, there are small pieces of bud that look good.
Just a lot of crap in with it.

Get high with some existing good bud and then dive into this with a magnifying glass and tweezers.

then vape and report back

Lots of great suggestions here, but for what it's worth, I collect the stems separately and, in dry times, have vaped those. I was skeptical at first but holy ham the stems worked wonderfully! I didn't grind them, just stuffed as many as I could into whichever oven/crucible/slot I was using and vaped at max temp. I was quite surprised!

So, I'd say don't toss the stems, chopped and cut up as they are, you might be able to get something out of em!

Back the Pre-prohibition days, I had two choices: "the good stuff" and "the cheap stuff".
The cheap was brick type, full of seeds and stems. The good stuff looked like the quality bud I can now buy from a dispensary: big, sticky, fragrant flowers.
You know what? The cheap stuff gave a better high
The beauty of vaporizing is that, even if you've got a bunch of ground up stem and seed fragments in there, the vape is still only going to extract the goodies.

Man if you were around in Pre-Prohibition days you must be older then Dirt... and even lwien.

I have pretty much no choice, but in most cases the buds are average to good quality, sometimes they look really good and have a lot of magic on them. It's the first time I got only ground up herb. (I have to pay 10-12€ for all qualities)
Man I wish Cannabis was legal in Germany, but our drug politician is just a dumbass and instead of legalizing weed (at least for medical purposes) she says intelligent things like "Cannabis is prohibited, because it's an illegal drug."

Whatever ur position on legality, if u got some ditch weed too nasty to smoke- blast some butane through it, collect the drippings and bam! Bomb honey hash. If u got the gumption, make a vacuum purge to clean it up and it'll b tasty. I vape my bho using a mod& rda set up with no wick, a stovetop coil on the deck and a vertical cylinder coil above that running around 0.2 ohm

You could pick them out, but I don't know of any reason not to vape it at all if you haven't tried yet. I grind up buds, twigs, leaf, sometimes even hermie seed and vaporize it all together as long as the stems will fit. It's also a good filler for if you want a full stem but don't want to get ripped. I like to have my stems full in my solo because it seems like it vapes better like that than doing half loads. So I put everything into a vape bowl. SOmetimes I even mix my herb half and half with ABV.
