Can you imagine being a doctor who comes across diseases that can't be cured or curtailed but then, you come across something that looks to have real promise in treating those diseases only to have the government standing in your way of doing further research in that potential promise and then you see the patients that you could have helped but can't because both you're hands are tied behind your back.
Not only that but few damaging side effects (other than getting high, of course) and IMPOSSIBLE TO OVERDOSE!!! People often miss this point as just about anything else can really hurt you if you take too much.

Apologies to the VERY small percentage of folks who feel they CAN overdose. There IS something called too high. Ask Maureen O'Donnell. But that isn't the same as an overdose in the traditional sense.

My favorite line is when the doctor said that marijuana makes animals forget where there food is.
Was that the same guy that was worried about stoned rabbits in Utah? I remember some testimony in their legislature to that effect. I was like, ok, how are they getting stoned off of raw cannabis? How are the rabbits decarbing their weed? Do they have little rabbit pipes or joints or something? Its so ridiculous. Bill O'Fuckface just hit a new low with a hit piece on a cannabis radio station in CO. He was like where is KDRUNK then? He even called cannabis an intoxicant, which it isn't. Your body has an endocannabinoid system NOT an endo-ethanol system. Cannabis is not toxic therefor not an in-toxic-ant . . .

Large doses of cannabis do not kill like large doses of opiates because you have opiate receptors on your brain stem. Nature left the cannabinoid receptors off of the brain stem for a reason . . .

Too much viewing of Fox News is bad for your health and causes hair to grow on your palms or something.

Worse..........it can make you have wet dreams dreaming about Reagan and then wake up and immediately register as a Republican. I'll take hairy palms any day over that. :brow:

All they pedal is fear, fear, fear. Its like that old John Carpenter movie "They Live" with the subliminal messages on everything like "Consume" or "Obey" or on the money it said "This is Your God". Every time I turn on Fox all I can see is a blinking light that says "F-E-A-R" in the background. Its propaganda pure and simple, but they all are. Sean Hannity is washed up.

Reagan would be thrown outta the party on his ass for being WAY too liberal. Not that that will stop them promoting him as their demigod. That would require introspection and would imply they have some sense of history. In other words, it would require them to think. You can hang that idea out of their reach.

Sean Hannity is washed up.

Washed up? His ratings are through the roof. The very first stop for EVERY Republican that his thrown their hat into the presidential race is on Hannity's show.

Maybe you meant, washed up in a different context, eh?

I mean the last time I watched his show he was unorganized, confused, suffers from confirmation bias, and looked like he was pretty much on his way out. I know he was considering leaving FOX and going to Texas like Beck did but he didn't have the guts. IMHO he is irrelevant and offers nothing to the discussion. You may be right about his ratings, I find it hard to believe, but I do not check ratings.

He is evil as shit because he is NOT a stupid guy. He KNOWS what he is doing, as does O'Reilly. That makes what they do that much worse. You could feel bad for Dubya cause you knew he didn't get it. Not so for Hannity or O'Reilly, and worse of all, CHANEY! Beelzebub in whiteface.

Yup. His ratings are super high and is the reason why all these presidential wanna-bees make his show the very first stop on their tour. He is the Republican Base Talking Head God with Rush being second in command.

I have seen him with that deer in the headlights look. He does look a little out of it at times. But that could well be calculated for sympathy, something he deserves none of.

He is one of the guys who scares me most because he has a very loyal following. Like Glen Beck...

Yup and that loyal following is primarily composed of far right winged zealots and the fact that Republican candidates feel that they must go on his show to gain any kind of traction further cements in my mind that there is no way in hell that any of them can win the primary, unless of coarse, the other side is just too fucking lazy to vote and THAT scares me more than anything 'cause those far right winged idiots WILL vote.

Beck is a completely different animal than Sean. At least he changes and has turning points. In fact, his dry drunk style drives me nuts. Beck at least is fed up with the GOP and has said he is out. Now I know he has said this before but he at least put it into context this time. Hannity makes me want to puke involuntarily because there is no substance there. Beck has a more "subdued' effect on me. He absolutely called the Caliphate years before it happened and has been helpful researching many issues. He changed quite a bit after he left Fox. If he wasn't a dry alcoholic, maybe, but it drives everything he does and is why he is so fragmented in his approach.
