I forgot to ask, and I saw some back and forth about it:

Do you pack the tip or the body, or either one?

What happens if you don't turn it on and off after each hit? Seems like the review and posts were leaning towards turning it off and on vs letting it run.

As far as accessories, they offer a stainless steel case ($35) and the leather sleeve. I'd post a pic if I knew how.

You pack the body. Originally it was designed to pack the tip but they changed it for a number of reasons.

It is primarily a convection vape so unless you are pulling hot air through it shouldn't keep vaping the chamber too much. I think because of the 5 second (or less) heat up time you might as well just turn it off in between hits.

You pack the body.

As for leaving the vape on, I believe automatic shut off is at 18 seconds. Since it only takes 5 seconds to heat up, Buzz was going under the assumption that he'd save battery life if he shut it off right after hitting it each time.

Doss it have an 18 sec turn off? Vid buzz put up had him and his bud passing it n seemed longer than that... Main reason to turn on and off seems to be to keep the mouthpiece from getting too hot n fast heat up makes it not much of an issue to keep turning it off

I thought it shuts off if you don't draw on it for 18 sec...? Drawing resets the timer. I could have dreamed that.

You'd be correct.

Mouth piece doesn't get hot while the unit is on and when there is no pull. Like I said, it was Buzz assuming that you'd get more time with respect to battery life by manually shutting the unit off after every pull.

I missed a few questions, sorry about that, but better late than never right?

@BuzzDanklin, I just watched your demo video again to tide me over for a little while and it's so funny how medicated you and your friend get haha.

I had a question though. You said in the video that you would let us know how cleaning it was by doing what GH suggests (dropping the front end in iso and submerging the rest of the unit just below the air holes). Have you done that yet and I missed it or have you not done it?

Edit: Also, I just forgot what my other question was..

Edit: Oh yeah, when it auto shuts off, do you have to click it twice to turn it back on because you didn't click it off? Or is it smart enough that you only have to press it once?

I still haven't cleaned it by dropping the front end into ISO unfortunately, sorry. I keep being lazy and have only done quick swipes on the inside of the body with a q-tip dipped in iso, it's mainly the screen I need to clean, the body stays fairly clean for me (I am mostly using a santa cruz shredder grind, so its fairly chunky, and not very powdery/fine which might make you have to clean the body more often)

When it auto-shuts off, you do need to click it twice.

I have been following this tread quite closely and have a few questions to @BuzzDanklin now,

How has your experience with the GHV been so far?

With your access to such a large variety of quailty vaporizers where does the GHV fit in? How has your day to day experience with it been thus far?

Have you found yourself generally using all your vaporizers evenly or relying on one main unit? Would you comment on any characteristics of other portable vapes that you find make you prefer to use them instead of the GHV?

Lastly, have you found yourself using the GHV all the time, almost like a main unit, or has it been set aside for bigger and better products?

I have noticed that aswell, I ordered the main SS GHV in February, '15; but also augmented my order by a few batteries in March and they are all shipping in May, '15.

I hope that stays true since I'll have a kickass graduation gift for myself and wonderful start to the summer.

I wonder how soon security will catch on to this style of dilated pen vape for bud...although I supposed you could always pass it off as an ecigarette and keep it without the battery so when they make you click it on, you can say, "oh no sorry the battery died, guess I'll have to charge it" or something like that...

My experience with the GH so far has been very good, it's still working just like when I got it. I am still using it quite a bit, I always take it with me if I am in town, and it's great for quick top-ups around the house. It can get me fully medicated faster than any other vape I have, so it gets used fairly often in that situation at home. It is also usually the vape I break out if someone who usually combusts comes over, the GH puts out dense vapor so it goes over well with non vapers.

I use most of my vapes semi-often, around once a month or so. I like to switch it up for a change of pace, and it's always fun using different vapes/techniques. I do have a few select vapes that I dont ever use anymore though like the PuffitX.

I have 7 vapes that I use the most. The Volcano, and the Cloud Evo get used the most while I am home. I also use the Mighty/Crafty/Pax2/Firefly/Grasshopper often both at home and when I am out.

I also use the Air/Haze more than the rest, but not as often as the previously mentioned ones.

I see pictures of parts, and pictures of boxes. But no picture of assembled parts in a box. :(

I just want to see one. One picture of one assembled retail package. Sheesh.

Thanks for the reply Buzz! No worries about not having dropped it in iso yet. I take that as it needs little maintainence so that's good.

It doesn't really bother me that you have to click it twice, but it's good to know ahead of time that you do.
