Damn out of all 3 of my eggs none of the ceramic nails they sent me fit in the glas on glass fitting. Looks like they sent you one that fit fine mrgohamilton. And update on mine, one of the 3 eggs has a pinhole leak. Heres a video of it

Im going to ask for a replacement. I knew this one hit funny but it took me a while to figure out why.


Also heres that picture of the red stuff in the perc holes. its only on the 2 fully functioning eggs. Not the one in the video. I wish I would have waited on these, I feel like I got tossed sone particularly jank eggs. I know this is fuckcombustion so please excuse the ashes in there, I have no functioning nail for this since the 3 ceramic nails they sent me all dont fit but I wanted to use my egg so I bust out a bowl for it.

sorry to hear that maybe you can ask for a refund and get the one with the better perc whenever it gets released

Oh I'm well aware of the usual pieces for the solo, had various 18mm bongs, gb-187, d020-d etc. And I actually prefer the larger D020-D over the standard D020... Actually ordered my third D020-D the other day.

I'm just seeing a decent amount of praise for the kathy/CCG eggs and was wondering if they would still work with the Solo as 'just for fun' piece.

Or hell even any other piece that recycles and/or vortexes :D

Looking into the wings of liberty torus clone, love that it has an 18f joint... a bit on the expensive side for me right now though.

I feel the Solo/Air has to much restriction to be fun with a recycler. Tried it with both of my 18f recyclers and the restriction pretty much prevented any recycle action from happening.

Got the Upline knockoff a few days ago, this one works great with the Solo/Air imho.

Thank God I have zero interest in those Fab eggs, looks like a lot of hit or miss quality issues!

Still haven't seen anything in a month or two I actually want to buy from DHgate. Pretty much already cherry picked my favorite pieces from China.

Maybe it's time for me to move on and start investing in some quality American Glass

Update one my CCG eggs. I have found a leak in 2 of my CCG eggs now, they are pinhole leaks but Im very dissapointed in my purchase. I woukd avoid these eggs if I were you. Ill post a video of both of them leaking later today. And that steven torus is extremely tempting, it looks just like the WOL torus which I already have on the way.

Well my FC-187 v2 arrived a couple of days ago, and I am VERY pleased with my purchase. Eleven days from order to my door.

While I don't have anything similar to compare it to, it seems to be a nice heavy piece of glass. The draw is smooth as silk. I wasn't 100% convinced on the sidecar option, but I am now. I really like this setup.

Thanks to everyone for posting their thoughts and reviews of these glass items from China. It made my purchase decision much easier.

Just got my CCG Fab Egg. Ordered it on 4/13 and arrived today. Joint seems to be level, bowls and adapters fit fine, no leaks, and I have a 7 slit showerhead perc instead of the 6 pin hole. Paid $52.64 for the Egg, bowl, and 14mm to 14mm adapter. Hopefully those 9" eggs come out more consistent. I'm holding back on purchasing one until I see a few reviews.

It looks like it's also got either a little stand for a dabber, or a snorkel carb (I guess it could be both :))
I wouldn't pay the asking price of $60, but for $35-$40 I'd be all over it :)

I agree. It's awesome that the chinese blowers are capable of mass producing glass of this quality but the costs are rapidly approaching american glass.
