Anyone use kiss mini in a nibbler x?

Kiss minis are 11mm, too large unless you find an adapter. The Nibbler X works with any 9 mm diameter atomizer.

DT's LR 9mm atty, Le Petite Gros and W9tech's Nibbler X in a Vapenut stand:

Edit: I just tried an old EO silicone mp on a Kiss Mini with the Nibbler X. Worked great!:

@THC SCIENTIFIC I think my hammer top is toast ? The light will blink multiple times even without a cartridge on it. With a kiss cart on I have to push the cart forward while inhaling or the light either fades out or rapidly blinks. Sometimes when the light fades out if I push the cart around it'll come back on and start working again w/o me pushing the button.. Sometimes I have to hold the thing upside down to get power..

Have you tried adjusting the battery height?

Nice! Glad I spent so much time hemming and hawing over my cart yesterday without pulling the trigger, sounds like some fun new stuff to snag that's worth waiting a week for.

I think it's time for me to graduate from beginner status . I'm considering moving up from my Omicron and getting the Persei with the Hercules. Regarding the buffer,I'm curious. When it's time to clean the Hercules, how do you know? And what do you do with the buffer ? And after many uses, is there no burnt taste from the buffer?

Alpha update soon, Iris still in the works we need to perfect the software for one reason and you will know this once it's done.

Hah, at first i missed the part of the sentence about the iris, so the alpha c was getting a software update and my mind started reelin....
Anyways, i bought a rebuild kit thats yet to ship out, and you went ahead and announced youd be selling dual coils this friday. Im not upset, but now to build something you dont offer ill have to make a tri coil kiss. What is the resistance id want on a coil for 7.4v setup if the result i want is not a quick hit, but say heats slightly slower than the v4 button glows?

@stroonz

Ive gone 2-3 months before cleaning my herc thoroughly. It just tastes like burnt oil after a few gs. Itll taste good each time you load fresh, but not as long as you get into the days. If its the same strain that you load each time itll be fine for a while, but as you add different once it all just mushes flavors. I generally just wipe the contacts once a week.

Handing a Herc to a newbie friend can fry your oil taste. Happen to me after 15+ grams of oil. Handed the SR71 to a friend, he got a huge burning hit. After that my Hercules tasted like shit no matter what I loaded. Had to clean it to go back to cloud status. Have to get all the burnt shit buffer oil out if it's overheated too much.

You won't be sorry.

In regards to the buffer, its really just about .3 of a gr that you need to get into the coils to get them soaked and "seasoned" as it were. The buffer doesn't stay static in the coils, it gets vaped as new concentrates get added. You just don't want to be huffing on a dry coil. Properly monitored, you should not be getting burnt flavor. It is possible to scortch your oil, but as you learn the device, that becomes less and less likely. The technique will become easy and second nature. Consequently, I have not "cleaned" my coils since I cleared the herc's learning curve...

With all that said, each user experience will vary.

Good luck and happy shopping!

I haven't cleaned my herc since the initial iso wash when I got it 8 months ago lol. When I taste the buffer oil, I just load more and the taste is flavorful again. Other than taking my pick to scrape some black residue off the top of the coil or reclaim chamber, I don't clean the herc at all.

Once u appreciate and learn how to use the herc, it's really not that hard to maintain at all imo.

I gotta give a quick thumbs up to w9 customer support. Good communication with the people handling tickets and even better support here directly from @THC SCIENTIFIC and @SamuraiSam !

Can't wait for all these things to drop. Are universe and Iris v2 set to drop this year, or are the current setbacks crippling development?

GD... Just dropped my payload and cooked what little was on the coils right when I was reading this. First time. Fairly certain I coughed at the end of a hit and forced oil through the AAF, because it was totally open when I opened it up to see wtf was going on. I may also have warmed it for a few seconds without inhaling, which probably isn't good either.

I was just getting whispy hits after scraping the sides of the chamber and the top cap and dripping it onto the coil, then the next hit I had barely started, tasted like shit and was forced to exhale. Opened it up and the coil looked dry. Separate chambers... There's my oil. Guess this is what you guys mean about learning curve. I'd just been following the directions I could find on FC and never had a problem til today, so I think that cough at the end of the first hit might be the issue. That or I tried to get too fancy of a long hit without knowing what I'm doing.

@stroonz All in all, the Herc gives me tasty vape pretty much every time, and I've been recommending it to others. I will continue to do so, but stress to people it's not 100% idiot or accident proof. Mine is a 74x, so it's easier to deal with mishaps such as this, but they're certainly not fun.

@THC SCIENTIFIC could a thicker AAF washer help prevent as much oil leaking out. Wait... Could I just add a thin washer, and adjust the AAF with a poker? (I'm assuming a washer will make gripping AAF by hand difficult)

@ragnorokk you can add a second washer if you wish.

On a side note guys here is what the disposable 1701 will look like. Second generation ceramic coil with wick for 3.7v only running at about .9 ohms give or take a .1

Unlike the many of the copied versions out there we manufacture our bowls specifically for the ceramic donuts.

This will be available in low numbers this friday soon as its sold out its gone.
