What Are YOUR Best/Worst Vape Purchases?

My worst purchase ever is the Pinnacle Pro. This device is a pure letdown regarding quality of material, taste, effect, heatup time, battery... everything. The only positive thing is the water tool which i unfortunately broke in half.

My best purchase is the Extreme Q. This device is running wild 24/7 for about 3 years now.

i don't have any worse vape purchases as most of them were quality stuff (i followed the reviews on FC!). But my best purchase has to be the latest vape - the daisy. What a performer! the 'best' in my collection? i dunno but definitely my current favourite.

Best plug in: UNDERDOG!! Best CS I've ever experienced with any product period. The fact they're and amazing vaporizer helps too.

Best portable(for my needs): Haze Vaporizer. It's the Swiss army knife of vapes. Also once again CS pushes it over the top for me, absolutely outstanding!!

Worst: Flowermate V8. Plagued with problems, nasty smell/taste. Gone within a week.

I agree with you on the Extreme Q! I've had mine for 2 plus years, and it has been through hell, but it sure is reliable! I also have The Arizer Solo, and a backup Solo! Arizer products have not let me down yet!

You mean you don't have to duct tape up the leaks or wear ear plugs now ?

@lwien I was thinking the voodoo was the red version of the vapir one. Saw one in use once that was all taped up (like momofthegoons did your head) and still leaked near as much vapor as came out of the hose and sounded like a broken shop vac. (it did make vapor though and it wasn't my herb so ...)

OMG, I did have to use duct tape on my Voodoo. Yes, it was red!

New to vaping but worst purchase was pax1 bought direct from them one week before new pax2 release announcement, I was disappointed that pax CS didn't mention or at least hint to me a new one was coming. Used it once before the announcement and they wouldn't let me upgrade / return. It's not a bad vape but I wish I'd have known and that's why I feel it was a bad purchase

So looking at "inside" pictures of the SSV, LSV, DBV, I see a common theme. Besides being 3 of the best rated vapes in this thread, I see a ceramic heating element! The same type that appears to be in my modified adjustable soldering iron I use for daily dabbing!!

Are there other vapes out there besides these big guys that also use that ceramic rod? Just wondering. I like the reliability and temp control of ceramic rod tech and now I see I am not alone...:)

off the top of my head, enano, and i believe the sub heater is a ceramic cartridge heater (though the subs heater is encased in metal)

The Cloud Conductor
Best is still the Cloud+/EVO.

Worst is still the Vapir No2.

Every other vape I've owned was pretty solid, especially the LSV, but there is a reason why I've had my Cloud for 1.5 years, Pax for 3, and all the rest for mere months.

Been toying with the idea of an E Nano but this is just my curiousity and compulsion getting the best of me.

All of my vapes have been "best purchases" at first....started off with the Herbal Aire 2.1 in 2008 and then got an MFLB, Volcano, Palm 2.0, Pax, Omicron, SSV, and now Pax 2.0, in that order. Each one worked really well once I figured them out, but over time I became aware of how I like to vape and what my preferences and expectations are, so the HA and MFLB fell to the wayside as I drastically prefer the simple, consistent, and reliable performance of the Volcano and SSV. The Paxes also have held up as excellent portables and suit my needs perfectly!

The volcano is perfect for when I host parties or have friends over, it's also nice to be able to carry a bag around while I do chores around the house.

I'll especially extol the benefits and versatility of the SSV with the oil nail kit, if I want delicious flower flavor or a dab it's perfect.

Worst - Titan 2 - while it's cheap and portable and heats up quick and does the job, it's too hot and harsh for me. Not very tasty compared to others.

Beyond Worst- those coil-based e-cig-like "vapes" that actually don't vape at all AND burn out in a few weeks. My pre-fuckcombustion.com adventure. Yuck!

Best Group Vape - Vapir Rise 2.0 - I love the sit-back-and-vape feel of the hookah mode (complete with my added long hookah hoses). Nothing to teach newbs, nothing hot to touch, nothing to stir or poke, no buttons or lighters to mess with - just hand them a hose. Great for a group of 2+, but if you have a party, you can also go bags. Ever want to convert a combuster who says vaping doesn't get them high, give them a bag. Works every time.

Best Personal - My trusty NO2 - I know, I am in the minority, but I mostly vape medically, and I don't want a giant hitter. The NO2 is dependable and almost maintenance free, and I can load in a ridiculously small load and still get medicated. Not really great for more than 1 person, and terrible for a group, and not even very portable, but still my personal fav.

Special Mention - The MFLB. My only real issue was the push-in battery which hurt my already hurting hands, plus I hate any vape I need to mess with while vaping. However, my daughter just loves that little guy to death. So it really depends on your vape style.

** GREAT thread - I read the entire thing which goes back to 2012. A real wealth of info for the newbie or experienced vapist. Simply fabulous.

BEST: I really have been enjoying my new enano but I like my Solo too. Both units are well made and produce wonderful vapor.

WORST: Pinnacle Pro from VaporBlunt. The unit has had numerous problems and VaporBlunt doesn't have the best customer service. There isn't even a customer service phone number to get a hold of anybody. They refused to fix my unit unless I paid to get it fixed. It was still under warranty.

Then later months down the road they decided to fix folks units one time but you had to have the right box WTF. I had bought a total of 3 units. 2 from VB and one from Gotvape. I had no idea what unit went with what box. I had given one unit away without the box. At that point I didn't care anymore. Buyer beware some companies are quick to get your money but customer service seriously lacks.

Im not even sure if there is a replaceable battery? After 6 months the battery degrades a lot. Think about long term some portables are almost like disposable vaporizers.

I've brought up some of my best purchases, the worst would have to be the t-vape. I went through three of those fuckers with nary a wisp of vapor, kept losing the mouthpieces too. Some had better results with it, but for myself it was the only vape I've used that made combusting seem attractive.

first vape and worst was a herbal gpen didn't even vape more like a mini stove. second worst one the snoop dog g pro it was the same price as the gpen 89 bucks but I was happy that it actually vaped but the vapor was pretty harsh and the battery died within months of daily use I threw it and broke it. moved on to vape number 3 which I did my research on got a good deal on a desktop unit the vapir rise 2.0 the other 2 vape where portable and I got a 500 watt black and decker inverter and wired it up to the car battery so now combustion is a thing of the past and when they come out with a rise 3.0 I will probaly be buying it or just make my own simple log vaporize and use a pid temperature controller on the element.

Just digging this MF Vapir One out from wherever the hell it lives and taking a picture of it totally infuriated me all over again. My blood is boiling thinking about how fast it started leak and became unusable. The bags were great, the vape was not really portable, and like that first toaster box desktop they made, the stupid POS deformed quickly and had no seals around the oven, so it would simply pour vapor out around the chamber. I would have to hold my hand over it. Yay hand on top of heater...
1/10 stars -- that is a score of -9 stars for the unit, but the no-stink bags get a 10/10 for being ahead of their time and kicking ass.

Best so far is my Persei, though they use different materials.

Best - (easy) vapman ... simple, cheap, effective, portable, efficient, very durable and beautiful aesthetics.
