Where are the Game of Throne fans?

I was given a chance to get the leaked episodes but I refused. They're not HD and I can wait. I just hope no one spoils me in the meantime.

I was surprised how attached I've become to Arya, even though she's always been my favourite character. Seeing her reunited with a man who is no one was really moving for me.

I'm not sure I'm liking the direction the show is taking Daenerys / Mother of Dragons but then again its the abrupt, damn it, moments in the show that make it worth watching to me.

I wants me some more dragon scenes. Loved the scenes in the last episode with Drogon though and hated the scenes where she locks the two runts of the litter away.

I cried when she locked the other two in the dungeon. They kept crying out to her like, "mom, don't leave us here!" It was heartbreaking to me. I'm not so sure she can trust the black one at all anymore. Hell, I'm afraid it might attack her, or get pissed because she locked up his younger siblings.

I can't believe what Dani did last night. I was shocked. She really needs someone to counsel her. Hey, I know. Tyrion! :)

Shocking yes, but did she do the right thing when she followed through and took that young man's head? I believe she had to do something, and when she considered it she looked like it hurt her to have to do it but when the act took place she seemed to have resigned herself...after all...it was murder.....

I thought maybe putting the young man in the dungeon OR a good public flogging as a start but it was kind of an eye for an eye.

Still, what happened to mercy? That's what I kept asking her at my TV screen last night.

My 2 cents....

Not that I'm in a position to second guess the Mother of Dragons :brow: but .... Those who were slaves see her as a mother figure first and a protector/liberator second and not so much as their ruler. In their eyes a mother/protector would not behead her own child and they have been duped. If she had explained to her 'children' that the law applies to all and as their 'ruler' she 'must' apply the laws to both slaves and masters because to do otherwise would be lowering themselves to the master's horrific standards and that it hurts her greatly to have to impose such a penalty.....

Then if the slaves reacted as they did they would become way less sympathetic in the story and that wouldn't be nearly as good a story-line.

Instead she posed as a ruler and didn't show enough emotion during the beheading so her 'children' felt betrayed because she is turning out to be just another master/ruler.

Here's a point of view I didn't think of till now...

Daenarys, when presented with a murder committed by her real children/dragons, decided the punishment should be to chain them up in a dungeon. Her babies' lives were not taken. Seems like a double standard to me considering the murder of a child by the dragon was way more heinous than the one committed by the ex-slave.

I do enjoy the emotional play between her and the dragons - one moment she is in tears over what her babies did and what she must do to them because of it, and then, moments later it changes to fear of them.

With Greyworm and Sir Robert dead, I would say she is pretty well fucked unless she forms an allegiance with Tyrion Lannister and she will need to take Sir Mormont back as well. Although he was initially a spy I do think he was hard done by.

You mean Sir Barristan and I don't think Greyworm died, plus now you really did open the spoiler can.

We have to get the snow bastard off of that wall to help her, because winter's never fucking coming!
Seriously, they would make a great couple that could take over the seven kingdoms :2c:

I was a latecomer to Game of Thrones and ended up watching the first 4 seasons in rapid succession. I was really taken aback after a break realizing how much harder it is to follow than most things on television. I thought I was on top of it but I kept asking myself who some characters were or struggled to remember the complexities of their relationships. Don't get me wrong. I love the series and I like that it is an intelligent series but there must be a few people struggling to keep up :)
