Hi, I'm a very sensitive medical user and I have been using an Aromed which has been perfect for me, no coughing, great taste even with clouds, and no sensitivity. I'm looking for a portable and am wondering if anyone can tell me what they think is the smoothest, cleanest portable suitable for daily use for a sensitive person who never smoked.

ESV, I dont ever cough from it even at super high temps. It doesnt medicate as strongly or potently as some of my others but for amazing taste/ Very cool sessions I grab the esv every time. At home i love my dbv for getting wrecked but sometimes I simply dont care to deal with all the coughing so i reach for my esv. Same with my firefly on the go sometimes I cant handle the coughing from huge hits so i grab my esv. The vapor is amazingly cool and the taste is great. I believe it would be a very good way to get into portables But i would stronly suggest atleast one other vaporizer for at home/ Heavier useage. But i dont really reccomend any portable used as a main vape if for nothing else the wear and tear the battery/ device itself recieves where as my plug in unit i have 0 worrys when using it for several sessions or all day lazy stoner days

Are you looking for a pocket portable or just one that's not tied to an AC outlet, like the Solo? Aside from water filtration, which the Aromed provides, the best method for taming hot vapor is increasing the distance from the bowl to your mouth. Keeping your hits small will also help. Some models are better than others in both respects. You'd definitely want one with temp control.

I can only compare the MFLB to the Solo in answer to the question. The MFLB makes me cough but the Solo does not....even at higher temps.

Two very good examples of cooling via distance between bowl and mouth. The Magic Flight, with the basic kit, puts you close to the bowl, while the Solo is designed more like a plug-in/desktop vape.

Easy. Firefly. Coolest vapor ever, IMO.
FTFY ;)

While the MiniVap is not known for providing cool vapor, for me, it is by far the cleanest hitting vape that I have ever used.

"Cleanest" is the word I'm putting on it because I know of no other word to describe it although, I guess "smooth" would work here as well.

Just one that's not tied to an AC because I rely on it to stay alive! So if I want to travel or live a normal life I need it all the time. I cook it too, but sometimes I need it quick. I have been looking at the Air, MV, Solo and Mighty but I am concerned because I can't take anything higher than 180-185 for too long. Even with water and a long whip. My seizure pills are very strong and cause sensitivity.

Oops...sorry...I thought that was obvious from his "what they think is the smoothest" question phrasing. I told him what I think...in my opinion. :p But I FIFMyself anyway....

I was looking at it but it starts at 190 degrees C with laminar heat flow. ..it might be too hot for my needs. :'(

Money isn't a concern for me, because it's all about health, I already am bombarded with meds, so I will buy whatever I have to for safety. If I want a large hit, I can do that too, but most of the time I need a cool, clean, safe vapor.

Now this is very subjective but I also have to say that the Mini seems be built more to medical grade standards than I've seen in other portables on the market so if clean and safe is important to you, this is also something to take into consideration.

I am a fan of the Elevape SV as a portable. It's very easy to hit, very kind to my throat (I think it's the vapor path that does that), and just works every time. Has three heat settings that, out of the box are good, but are also adjustable for your own needs. You won't need to take it over your limit.

It's also stealthy.

meduser,
You might want to still consider the miniVAP as you said 180- 185 C is your range and low temp on the mVAP is 190 C, only 5 C over that.
On low temp, the battery is good for about 3 hours---well beyond the range of other portables.
It is superb vapor quality.
At 190 C, the miniVAP vapor is "very enjoyable". I never smoked and dislike smoke and most vapor. With good quality Super Lemon Haze at 190, it is like inhaling warm air that passed over a lemon drop, a tastey and enjoyable experience.

Are you getting enough med effects at 180 C as many goodies don't vaporize that low?
It would not surprise if you could enjoy higher temps with the mV.....
Are you in US or where?

Hope you find a portable that works for you!

I'm in Canada, I get my herb from licenced producers---excellent quality and tested. Yes, at 180 it works. Near the end I put it to 184 and then maybe one or two pulls at 190 but that's it. I've tried at 190-194 for a whole session, even other temperatures, and anything above 185 is just too much for me. Sometimes i have to go as low at 165 for a bit before turning it up. :(

Do any of the parts in Elevape get too hot and release any sort of smell?

I'd suggest the crafty.. Very smooth vapor. It never makes me cough unless I take huge pulls on the highest temp, but 185 is very smooth and medicating.
The mighty would be an equally good choice, maybe better if the battery life suits you

With all that conduction going on as well as the denseness of the vapor in the S&B's, it may not be his best choice.

elevape has very minimal smell and has a screen behind the mothpiece ive never inhaled any particles with it

Mine even with 2 back to back sessions has never even gotten hot to the touch, the lid was just a tad warm

Thanks everyone, I wish there was a way to try them all! Keep the responses coming because I'm afraid to make a mistake when purchasing. I've been through so many reviews and some trials with friends but I'm in still undecided.

You might try working with @stickstones - he's been around since the beginning and is now a retailer. Good reputation, expertise and will go the extra mile. He put together a personal shopping experience for me where he tailored the purchase to my needs after gathering my requirements through give and take PMs. All the way down to matching the color on the accessories. He didn't rush me and it was obvious to me that he enjoyed using his expertise to put together a package based on my requirements...even the requirements I didn't know I had.

Of the portables I've used: the ff has the best flavor, but the crafty may be the smoothest overall.

I've purchased the MV, feels too hot but works really well with a great design and high quality. Not sure if I will keep it because it bothers my chest and throat. I need an efficient, all glass, portable with a low temperature setting available. I've even added a water tool using the adapter (just stick it in from the top, not through the bottom) but I still find it just a little bit too harsh. Since it's daily use, multiple times per day, I need something really safe. I'm wondering if the plastic and aluminum in the crafty is ultimately dangerous...and I've been looking at the DaVinci Vs. Air. ...
