The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

The power is also managed during charge as well, it draws 13 watts for most of the charge then reduces as it approaches full charge and finishes with a trickle charge of 1watt for the finale part of the charge.

What you are saying isn't a power or charging management, it's a simple way of charging batteries. There are different ways to charge different types of batteries, S&B uses a so called "constant voltage charging" for the mighty:

(Blue=Battery tension ; Red=Charging current)

Perhaps it's just me, not getting the difference between a true power management, a feedback controller or a simple one-way-controller (due to the language barrier? In the german language, a management implements way more things than a simple feedback control, but S&B should know that, too)
If just a feedback controller is enough for you (and S&B of course) to call it power managed, then it's power managed, for sure, it sounds way better... Just thinking of the laminar Heat flow Hermes is abusing for marketing purposes...

But anyways, I love my mighty. Power managed or feedback controlled. I don't care. I think nobody else here does since my previous post is not getting a single "like". If someone is really interested, S&B seems to be very communicative, send them an email and please let me know if I'm Galileo Galilei or more like Don Quijote :).

I killed my batts and stopped the heat up times. I will post this here anyways, perhaps someone will find this useful even if it was quite a useless thing, stopping Heat up times. Still no proof for a feedback control or a power management.

Perhaps I should really save my time and do more usefully things on Saturday's than this :

Edit:

@t-dub, one thing is obvious to see: The power drop is linear like I already said. If there is a power management, it is really not depending on batterie bars or changing it's behavior after 4 bars left or anything like this (apart the slight temp overshoot needed to let the unit vibrate). The first 3 Heat-up-times are clearly rising with every bowl and the battery indicator was always full or at least 5 bars on the first 3 bowls... and I don't think the missing vibration after 2 battery bars is part of the power management. Could the missing vibration after 2 missing bars make you assume the performance dropped with 4 bars left? Just thinking loud... :peace:

Edit 2:
@all , thx for the many likes. It's hard texting for me in English being high. My ancient teachers wouldn't believe my grown language skills, and all this vocabulary only due to vaporizing :)

Got some ice hash today, that used to be the kind of stuff I would save for the iolite but the mighty seemed just so perfect for it after how well it vaped up my SSV wand hash. I expected no less than the monstrous clouds I breathed for a good 15 or 20 mins straight! Vape kicks ass!

Lately I have been realizing it's quite nice at 180 to 187 to 192 to 202 to 210.

What a day yesterday was !!! Hiking 17 miles into some beautiful mountains/trails. Nature is where I love to be
Not to get off topic, look who showed up in the middle of it all

I really dig this one :)

The mighty held up well during the entire hike!
It got me thinking about what extreme conditions I could put it through and then the idea of a waterproof case came to mind.skmething with cushion on the inside and a watertight seal around the edges.maybe there's one already out there ??
Hope everyone has a great Sunday. My legs are a tad bit sore from yesterday ,so I'm resting in bed ATM. I already hear mighty calling me ,she loves to be caressed :D

Stunning scenery, you're very lucky! Vapecase for the mighty or a pelican case, do you take your jack Russells with you?

Like you, I forest bathe often as I love being grounded and connected to nature. I went for a great hike on a gorgeous day yesterday but since I don't have the mighty yet, I took the crafty. It was okay, but the battery died fast (only started at 1/2charge) and performance slowed. I can't wait for the mighty! And 4/20!

Think there's an answer to this question a little way back on this thread, I also believe it's not good to run down lithium batteries. I think....lol I always put mine on charge after use....

You really shouldn't do this neither. It's ok for the crafty since the capacity is smaller and it's on 60% battery level anyways after just one tamped bowl, but not so the mighty! Keep your batteries between full charge and around 2-3 bars left if in usage. Drain the Mighty to 5 bars for prolonged storage. Kill them completely once or twice a month, but there are different opinions about this. Besides this, you can charge and drain most types of batts just how you feel to (ab-)use them, imo.

Edit: I forgot the battery indicator bars aren't linear with the remaining charge. So you can already charge after 5-4 bars left.

so should i drain the battery life, or just keep it on the charger whenever?

Meh, everyonedoesit has the mighty for $350 free shipping!

Also the price drop means nothing for those of us in Canada. Then again, we've had at par pricing for a while now.

What latest model? There is only one model.

Wow I didn't know vape world also shipped domestically in Canada! Shipping was only $8-9 and I'm in Ontario.

I'm so excited for this $399cdn mighty price! I didn't think I'd be this happy until 4/20. Guess I'm only 90 mins away :)

Thanks for the heads up @Darb!

I am thinking of going straight to s&b for mine. Now I just need to convince my wife it's worth the money.
I am just going to use it to keep me from smoking cigs. Probably use a bunch of natural herbs that are legal. I like mj but legality and family prevent that.
