Hi what is the difference between the 3.0 and the 4.0?

Is it worth the price cause the 4.0 lot more expensive than the 3.0 (115 euros/65 euros on Namastefrance).

Some users feedbacks? Paytonpenn?

that's odd. on namaste germany the difference is only 20€ (3.0 -> 70€, 4.0 -> 90€)
however, i don't think they are too different. i believe the only real difference is that only half of the 3.0 housing is made of wood. I could live with that. Although, I have never seen a 3.0 myself

I am personally interested in their future releases that will be primarily wood and less metal. It's a wonderful vape but hard to recommend with their current setup. Its just not very fun to use as the unit gets unbearably hot after a couple hits due to the metal parts that are exposed.

They definitely have a great design.

This beer bottle bong mod looks pretty sweet (you can skip to 0:30 in the vid). But on second thought, I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with the plastic cooling hose. On a piece that small it seems possible it could get too hot at the contact spot and possibly offgas or melt...What do you guys think? Is the tubing silicone? I looked on the website and couldn't find information on the material of the tubing. The truth is even if it's silicone I don't much like the idea of it being that close, especially with fire being involved. My understanding is that the herbs are located in the middle and that silicone tube is pretty much laying in the spot right behind the herb chamber.

Can a mflb glass or wood stem attach to it?

@grokit Thanks for the heads up on the massdrop...caught it in the last hour!

I found out about this product roughly an hour ago... was super excited to get one, especially the all wood finish... but the first link I found sent me to a french site, where they're selling the 4.0 for 115 euros! 2 minutes later I see you're massdrop link for the 4.0 all wood version for 40 bucks!!

I think I just exprienced my first dose of VAS condensed into one hour! hehe.

My video uses a mflb glass stem along with other parts from the MFLB wpw.

The tube is not silicone or as resistant to high temps. Great video I think its combustion though. I've never got hits that quick from a soft flame lighter and honestly it always tastes horrible without a torch.

yes the tubing is pvc, I believe. works fine without it, but the glass stem of the mflb is definitely a better idea

I got my nimbin yesterday from massdrop. The taste is really weird to me for some reason. At first I thought it was just the waxiness of the hemp wick I was using but then I heard in a video that they use aluminum for the metal on the inside of the piece.
Could that be the reason for the change in flavor?
Is that safe? When I usually hear the word aluminum in smoking/vaping conversations it gets put down immediately.
Other than that the piece seems awesome. I get nice clouds and its actually really fun to use, being a part of the process of vaporization other than just pressing a button and waiting.

I find a taste from the waxiness of the wood when I am heating for extended periods but I am guessing its harder not to burn the wood with a torch.

What's this still doing in the candidates.

Was totally surprised when I came home after work. I went home during lunch to pick up my new rda and concentrate materials. After work I come home to a random package from Mexico that is labeled 1 pipe for tobacco.

Another NimbinVap has finally been made and its the all wood version. Oh this thing is a beaut. Was not expecting it.

I have the Vapor Genie Classic and a VG coil. I use these for back ups if I lose power. Is this unit worth getting? I can use my VG in the same fashion as the Nimbin. One other consideration: I don't collect vaporizers like some of you folks do; I don't have the funds (SSI). The only time I buy a new vape is if it brings something new to the table. If it doesn't do anything new or better, I can't justify buying it. Because a vape looks cool does not spur me to purchase it. So my question is: Does this vape bring anything innovative to the game, is it better than other vapes out there, is it easier to use, is it considerably smaller the any other vape in its class? If I didn't have the VG's, I may purchase the Nimbin, but the VG has a lifetime warranty and is pretty much industructble.

Got my 4.1 from massdrop, no import/export vat etc so made up with getting it for £29

First impressions why don't I get what's shown on the box, u do its just that it is all put together and the screens dont match the picture

First impressions not good

Got the hang of it and this thing fucking rocks

I only use hash/pollen and it works great lasts forever, I put in a tiny bit and it just keeps going, do have to stir a lot though but no biggy

I gave up tobacco beginning of December but still used my brass pipe for a quick hit. This has replaced it so I am now smoke free

Can't recommend enough

Is tiny and very pocket friendly

Just as it is
Is it hot/harsh as it is (native)? Do you use a torch lighter or regular flame lighter? I like the idea of using it native, but the path is soo short. They should consider making a longer version...

No not too hot at all
I use regular lighter
Just sprinkle a bit in and go
It does fly about and stick to top screen but just wipe it off, if that makes sense, u do need to stir every other drag.
But with any pollom it sticks together to start with
U do need a 10sec+ draw
This is to replace my brass pipe which it does very well
Has a funny taste (wood) which i like

I have been enjoying this vape with a soft flame lighter, and can highly recommend usage with it.

To use the torch you should place herb in middle chamber. With a soft flame it must be in the upper chamber. Do not use a torch with herb in the upper chamber or without the middle chamber. It's just asking for combustion. (Only do it if you're a risky cat that wants an ultra quick heat up and amazingly quick extraction)

Definitely recommend this vaporizer if you want both a torch and soft flame lighter vape that works well for both. I am using it with my UD gong now and it's a perfect fit. Now just glass and ss airpath. Taste isn't as bad as the Lithe with a soft flame and it heats up with one good preheat. This one is definitely on the top of my list, the UD GonG is a wonderful bowl. Will be making more sense and commenting more reviewlike when my video is taken.

Obviously there's a reason it comes with a whip which cools it well, native is not recommended honestly my top makes native impossible it just falls when slightly tilted. (Not an issue at all on my 4.0). Overall it isn't that harsh but it takes a while to get really hot.
